Chieftains Rebellion 3-Player Co-op

Chieftains Rebellion is a 3 player co-op story map.

Key features are:
  • 3 different starts for each player
  • Custom Abilities for each Hero
  • Custom Soundsets for each Hero
  • Custom Icons

  • Not too harsh on players
  • One Boss Battle (finale)
  • Cinematics

  • Map full of Easter Eggs and other cool things to find around..

In the lobby:
Red Player is set for the Blackhand
Light Blue is set for the Durotan
Brown is set for the Orgrim Doomhammer

Each one of them has some sort of their own "uniqueness", Durotan is tank, Blackhand (was supposed to be Varok but one of my friends told me change him for Blackhand so I did..) is damage, Doomhammer is heavy on crowdcontrol abilities. Each one of them has their own set of custom abilities, so suit yourself.



QUICK GAMEPLAY TIME
You each go on your short little adventure in your lane, you need to wait for each other some will finish their story faster than others. After you reunite, you continue onwards together. You will need to find some "things" along the way if you want to finish this journey. At last, you will find a gate, behind which is Gul'dan who is channeling the summoning of the demons through the Dark Portal. If you are not fast enough, he will bring chaos into the world and you will lose. GLHF


Map was created for the purpose of me and my two friends to have a great time now and when we get older. First ever made that I actually started and finished, if I can say that.
There might be some unwanted occurrences in the map, I will try to fix them as soon as I can, but I'm not that active here, so it might take a while.

I like the idea of this map, so I gave it a try and I tried all the 3 characters, they each have abilities that adds to the replayability, so that's great.

But I do have two massive issues already that I simply can't play:
1. The map is clearly made ONLY for multiplayer co-op and specifically for 3 players, it doesn't seem like there's any way to play it solo, actually.
2. The "Timer", which I am actually okay with, only bothers me that it's simply "when reach 0 you lose". I think it would be great if what happens is you get a cutscene of how this chaos starts, and then you have to face enemies that no matter what, are way stronger than you and in so many numbers, you just die.

I hope I'm not sounding like a tosser, "I can't play alone so this map is bad", that'd be unfair, I think it's great but alas I can't continue.
Is there any way you can make a "Solo version"? Perhaps to ease it a bit, you can make all the characters start in the same location.

Also, big kudos for making it in 1.26 instead of 1.32+! :peasant-cheers-back:

The map was made specifically for me and my 2 buddies to play it now, forget about it, play it 40 years later on our death bed. :peasant-cheers:

I'll go back and update it to be playable in singleplayer too, I get that some would like that feature. (when I get some free time, sorry for now)
For the timer thing, I wouldn't change it personally, I wanted the players to go onwards to progress with some "pressure" added to it, also I think there is more than enough time for the players to explore a little bit around the map and to arrive in time before the clock runs out.
