i think everything is in there credits to the people i used the models from who helped etc and the auther Shvegait cant be found people looking for ages now that i have read online and no one in years is able to find him and in the map discription it says this is last version and this is the edit version that everyone can edit...

:
Version 2.32
Editor's Version
This version is unlocked so that you can see the triggers and edit the map. I have also added comments to many of the triggers so that you can better understand them.
One thing you may want to do is put Hero and Hybrid back into the map, and this I have made very easy to do. Simply open the Object Editor, look for Human - Melee - Structures - Governor Chooser. Then, go all the way down to "Techtree - Upgrades to". Add Lisk and Uther to this list (They can be found in Human - Custom). The rest is taken care of already. All triggers for these races are in place.
Please note that there are 2 secrets that I removed from v2.32. The reason for this should be obvious... they are secrets! Of course I have left all of the secret commands from v2.27 and previous available. Feel free to add your own secret commands :)

have been making this map for over 2 years now so yeah i added 4 extra players shops that swpan in the middle vote system harder system this was all not in the open source one + so much more please stop this nonsens...
the map is downloaded over 2.000 time hosted over 1.000 times now since last year that i have the statistics.
Well, what exactly did you bring in this version? You can't simply take a map by someone else and then make it open source unless you can prove it was open source the first time.

I am sorry but that is not my job. You are the one who edited and claimed it is open source so please provide valid evidence.

Please use the yellow Edit button at the bottom of your posts and add text there instead of writing one post after another of yours unless it's an important update.

We are not understanding each other it seems. You have edited a map which you say was open source. I need the link to the open source map or something like that. What's written in your map now doesn't mean much since maybe you wrote it. Also, right in this edited map's thread description you wrote
8 Players Map:
Protected
Well, you can't simply take an open source map and protect it. It's not yours in the first place.

Sadly not in this case as the original work is not yours.

Things changed too much since then to use that as an argument, sorry.
Perhaps but it's quite different than the one you posted and you did not come with proper evidence from the start and resorted to searching around until you found that. The one you claimed at first to be open source was not.

We shall see how this goes.

I've done some digging... (I kinda like the archeology aspect) and found what you were referring to:

They both link to a page:

Which unfortunately doesn't load (and isn't on archive.org), but the thread on HIVE has a quote:
The creator of this map said "This will likely be my last version of this map. Thank you everyone for being supportive, testing, and helping to make this map as good as it can be. I've held the map far too long, though (nearly 2 and a half years, if you can believe that!). So I'm also releasing an which has been left unprotected. Feel free to edit the map "
And considering "Pyrogasm implicitly verified this statement, I believe it. You (and everybody else) have green light to make your own version. But please make a version of the map that would make Shvegait proud and honored by crediting him and making it clear that this is a different version, e.g. a partial name change, etc. And please still make it worth it to exist. You can't just change a few units and call it yours. It has to be relevant improvements that improve the world.

EDIT:
Also, to anyone wanting to make their own Burbenog TD. I have found the closest one to the original, I believe this is the one Shvegait shared as open source:

It even has a nice message for everyone:
Shvegait said:
Welcome to the Editor's Version of Burbenog TD!

Feel free to edit anything you like. I have provided some small comments to many of the triggers, but their inner workings are for you to figure out if you'd like. Most of it is pretty straightforward, and the parts that aren't probably shouldn't be changed (obscure bug fixes, etc.).

Here are some tips:

1) Re-Enabling Hero and Hybrid: Go into the object editor. Find the unit Governor Chooser in Human - Melee - Structures.
Go down to Techtree - Upgrades To, and add Lisk and Uther to the bottom of the list. Lisk and Uther can be found in Human - Custom - Structures.

Note: All Hero and Hybrid triggers have been maintained for this version, so that's all you have to do!

You can then edit the "Random" command by changing every appearance of the number 10 to 12. This will allow Hero and Hybrid to be selected with -random!

2) Creeps: All creeps are managed in the triggers Array Setup 1 to 10, etc. Here you can change the type of creeps, the number of creeps, and the message that is displayed with each one. Note that if you want to change the location of siege and invisible levels, you'd have to take some extra measures.

All Normal difficulty creeps are stored in Neutral - Naga - Melee.
Expert difficulty creeps are stored in Neutral - Naga - Campaign.

If you plan to add/edit any casting levels, you'll need to add/edit entries of the Casting Levels trigger.

3) If you plan to add/edit any spell-casting or special effect towers, consult the Tower Effects section. Most of the time you'll be able to just copy a trigger and modify it for your needs.

4) All costs, bounty amounts, damage, cooldown, life, movement speed, etc. can be modified in the Object Editor. Feel free to make any changes that you see necessary. But please, make it fun. Don't make it lame... that is all I ask!

5) Have fun! That's the point, right? :)

EDIT: I have decided to upload the original here:

Review - BurgenOG 4 I 8P TD
(Version January 8th 2025)
Synopsis: BurgenOG is a take on an old classic. Instict's version adds support for eight players and adds multi-board among other additions. It also alters most of the gameplay elements. While many of the additions are nice (such as support for eight players), the version alters the map in many aspects, some of which are implemented in quite a chaotic manner.
Map Aesthetics and Theme: Visually the original Burgenog is not a masterpiece, so a freshening of the visuals is a good choice - the fashion and direction of the updated visuals however is not the best: the bright white ground is hard for eyes, a number of doodads/ramps are placed just to clutter the environment without clear purpose or visual pleasantness. Moreover, a bunch of custom assets are used - custom assets are a double-edged sword. While they can be used to differentiate the gameplay from the original flow, they are also unrecognizable. Moreover, it is hard to carry over a coherent, distinct theme with various custom assets being imported. Models of from Warcraft 3 do not mix thematically (or even visually) well with models from Portal or Donald Trump voice-over.

Overall the map seems to lack a clear direction in aesthetics and theme - is it meant to be a competitive cooperative map or a funky fun map with a meme-smash that brings hilariousness to teams of players playing it? Clarity could also be improved by naming difficulty levels to Easy, Normal and so forth, rather than "Hel". When working with classics, each change should come with a reason - not for the sake of it or for the sake of differentiation.

Gameplay Elements: The map now supports up to eight players - a clear improvement (addition) to the original version. Moreover, some additions, such as teleport on the builder have been added, which are arguably clear improvements (something that the 'old' version didn't have). There are a lot of changes however that complicate the gameplay and I have to say it is really hard to 'get into'. There are a lot of informative messages, custom models, and icons as well as dialogs popping up (at the beginning of the game), with custom-named difficulties and abilities (which are not very informative descriptions).

An unfortunate thing regarding the map is that although it supports up to eight players, it does not support fewer players (or solo-playing). That being said, I wonder whether adaptive player support could be added (count the number of players and adapt the map accordingly).

Comments:
Overall the edit seems to miss clear direction (what it tries to achieve apart from the support for eight players). My recommendation is to re-think some of the changes made (such as colorful text or the clarity of abilities/balance changes). I would also heavily suggest adding an adaptive player-count, so that the gameplay would be more accessible - predetermined player numbers are very unforgiving.

Asset credits are updated as instructed - rated as
Simple/Useful: While 8-player support is a good addition, this version brings a lot of unclear changes that reduce the readability of the tower defense without bringing much additional value to it. With further fine-tuning and goal-directed approach the map can be greatly improved.
