Anufis RPG is a linear multiplayer RPG campaign and non-standart dungeon crawl RPG without open world (or simply put D&D adventure). It aims to create a complex RPG with the goal to retain replayability, custom stats/skills/classes/items and "Active Skill Usage"-driven gameplay.
Features and Details:
Only current Warcraft 3 version (1.32.9 or higher) and Battle.net or Local Game host required:
-Map relies on stuff introduced to game with Reforged, which makes it unplayable on older versions
-Mostly developed for Classic graphics but works with Reforged graphics
-Because this is a map with save/load it can't be played in single player. To play solo you need to host it in Battle.net or LAN
Non-standart RPG with codeless save/load:
-Saves automatically when you change locations
-Savefiles are located in Documents\Warcraft III\CustomMapData\AnufisRPG
-Map saves up to 100 backup savefiles to Documents\Warcraft III\CustomMapData\AnufisRPG\backup
-If you want to restore older save from backup, sort them by change date and copypaste/rename backup file, replacing current savefile with it
Chapter/mission/story-based progression:
-No open world
-Group of players follows story of several chaotic villagers' adventure by beating map chapters 1 by 1 and progressing in story
-Essentially this map is multiplayer RPG Campaign
Escape/Survival mechanics and Map divided into locations/levels:
-Goal is to either beat all enemies on current location or survive and reach Exit Circle to next location
-Some locations contain hazards like traps, spikes, lava or freezing ice
-Main goal is to stay alive and survive whatever enemies/world throw at you
-Locations are loaded in Map when you enter them which allows for basically unlimited landscape size
Custom Attributes and Stats:
-Custom Attributes give Health/Damage and secondary Stats
-More than 20 Secondary Stats like Evasion, Critical, Cooldown etc
-After reaching Hero Level 2 you can choose 2 Main Attributes which will define your build
Custom Class/Job System and non-standart leveling:
-Linear leveling speed for Hero Levels (you gain same amount of XP at level 1 and higher levels if you do relevant content)
-You gain XP not for killing enemies, but by surviving and reaching end of current location
-You have access to only 1 Job in the beginning which will introduce you to Job/Skills system in general and provide several necessary skills for progression
-Class/Job tree: By leveling up classes you gain access to more advanced classes
-You can select and level up classes gaining XP in them unlocking more skills for them and gaining access to new classes
-Active Jobs provides set of passive abilities to your hero
-You can use 2 Jobs simultaneously from Hero Level 25
Custom Hero system (Choose your skills):
-Jobs only unlock Skills and don't force you to use them
-You can mix and match all unlocked Skills after leveling up more Jobs for your own custom build
-Unlock more slots for Skills as you level up and fill those slots with any unlocked skills of your choice
Custom Inventory and Items:
-Custom Inventory which allows you to equip items (9 item slots, central slot provides x3 stats for equipped item)
-This allows to leave space for quest items/keys and consumables/on-use items
-Items can rarely drop from enemies and minibosses, and always drop from bosses
-Items have itemlevel which dynamically scales item stats
-Some items can have randomly modified stats when dropped
Essences:
-Killed enemies very rarely drop Essences
-Essences allow you to transform your hero into that enemy (this is only cosmetic and doesn't change your skills)
-Essences can be collected and saved which allows you to change your hero's look at any time
Bosses:
-Each chapter ends with bossfight
-Bosses get progressively harder and use a lot of deadly skills requiring coordinated play and learning boss mechanics
Endgame - Heroic and Chaos mode:
-After finishing all chapters you gain access to Heroic and Chaotic modes
-Heroic mode allows you to play chapters upscaled to max level and gain better rewards
-Some bosses gain more skills on Heroic and Chaotic mode
-Chaos mode will randomly move players between all locations upscaling them to max level
-Chaos mode scales in difficulty increasing health and damage of enemies and rewards gained
-Higher difficulties of Chaos mode add global modifiers to location (for example all enemies have a chance to launch projectiles when attacking)
Death and Revival:
-If you play alone, dying is equal to losing (and you have to restart game)
-If you play as a party, you can be revived if other players manage to beat current location and you still have Lives left
-If you lose all Lives, you won't be revived anymore, unless other players manage to beat Boss, which grants all players more Lives
Enemy Scaling:
-Map's difficulty gets scaled to number of players playing, so it's playable as any number of players
-Low level players don't impact difficulty scaling on high level content
Setting and World:
A certain planet, which is a generic fantasy world, at one time gets bombarded by strange meteorites. Our heroes, who live their "normal" lives in a faraway village inside forest far away from Holy Empire, get drunk and decide to stroll in a forest. One of them has seen a meteorite fallen in forest, so they decide to investigate. After finding and breaking that meteorite, they lose consciousness. Some nearby trolls treat them as dead bodies so they decide to drag them away and later use as a gift for Ogre Empire marriage, which they want to visit.
While our heroes are unconscious, army of space invaders, which is led by Sentinels, follows those meteorites to this same planet. Turns out that these meteorites contain substance, which infects planets it touches, turning them is dangerous alive organisms, and these space invaders' goal is to exploit energy which leaked into the planet for their own use.
Most of indigenous inhabitants of planet get killed by immune system of now "alive planet" or Sentinels' armies, and other part mutates turning into all kinds of dangerous monsters. Our heroes' goal is to survive in hostile planet environment, trying to evade pursuit of Sentinels, other indigenous inhabitants and more invaders from other planets, which came to fish in troubled waters.
A wacky RPG that has the downside of not being able to be played alone. It has lots of custom stuff, however the terrain could use some more work as in many places it's plain and doodadless.
Approved.
If you want more reviews, you should...
Revive only works in multiplayer when at least one player survives. So if everyone is dead it's still gameover. Also actually implementing revive when everyone is dead may lead to a ton of bugs.

A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
Weirdly enough, I have version 13.11 and you didn't update it here. I've only played till level 7 and seems a pretty solid lua map.
Some things I've noted is the almost no information in relation of how "skills" level up (not unit abilities). You don't have to say everything, can just be some basic info.
Some terrain variation would also be nice.
Lastly, guys, I don't know what is your deal with "not being able to play alone", all you need to do is to host it online and...start the game by yourself alone. What have you guys been smoking?

Yeah, but I guess it's not designed for one player. Seems too difficult. I could not get past the Murloc. Well, I also encountered a game breaking bug if I recall correctly.
If that's what you meant, yeah. Perhaps it's too difficult because of lack of items and their level I guess. I can't really tell about this old version since i've played the newest.
Also, starting from level 10 onwards soloing bosses is incredibly difficult if not impossible unless you have absolutely high end items.
What's the bug by the way?
