Some camps along/down the waterfall can be attacked from above. Wholesome. Great work. Not easy making a multi player map without having it feel visually repetitive. Approved. If you want more reviews, you should participate in the The Grand Review...
gonna play it later, but it's missing 2 things.
- (8) at the start of the map file name
and
-2v2v2v2 4v4 FFA in the suggested players.
went blind into the game, and the height difference is very nice, you really need to climb into some places.
map looks gorgeous in reforged, but again the waterfalls inconsistencies fucks it all up, same with the ice in the middle, looks good in classic but the reforged rocks/ice looks bad.
lots of choke points when going 2vs2 or bigger but the map is still very nice.

Thank you, I updated the map file to include the (8) and 2v2v2v2 4v4 FFA. If you utilize it, the map is currently up on W3C for play too.

Yeah I pretty much work exclusively with classic SD, as I find it is my preference.

Alright!
Finally got time to take a look at warcraft so let me see your map
First of all I think It's fair to say your map is way better looking for a 2Forall or 4v4 rather than FFA

Due to the size of the map and the number of players + their placement, it's not a perfect FFA

Green Camps :
Lvl 7 Trolls with power up 2 : Too strong
lvl 8 Furbolgs with Perma 2 : Too strong
Lvl 6 Murloc with Power 1 : Good
Lvl 8 Tuskarr with charged 2 ; Good
Lvl 6 mammoth with perma 1 : Good

Orange :
Lvl 14 faceless perma 4 : WAY TOO STRONG
Lvl 15 wolf bandits charged 4 : that's correct but I'd modify it
Lvl 13 dragons charged 3 + 2 powerup 1 : Almost good, remove one power up u good
lvl 12 tuksar perma 3 : Almost good
lvl 14 Golem shredder perma 4 : Too strong, 0 abilities pure damage, very easy camp
lvl 12 First expand, lvl 3 item on 450hp unit, terrible, drop too strong + expand reward, camp too easy main prio to be changed
lvl 14 wolf market perma 4 : units too weak, reward too strong, need red camp for market, especially cuz super close to starting position
lvl 12 Second expo : Seems Good

Red camps :
Fountain : lvl 6 perma on lvl 6 unit doesnt fit, replace bear with lvl 8 furbolg, to make it more balanced
I don't care unit has 1200 hp, lvl 8 Furbolg is tougher to kill, stronger abilities, better xp, more fitted for lvl 6 item

I'd personally change bear, nerf item to lvl 5 perma MAX, remove the other items and put lvl 3 charged on Shaman
I'd prolly change the 2 trackers as well, like replace one with a champion and the other with a weaker shaman smh

Going the near red camp, replace the boss with tracker, nerf drop to lvl 4, remove tracker, add 2 lvl 4 furbolg

Starting position : I'd put charged 4 and power up one on main wendigo instead of perma 4

I can understand it's supposed to be FFA + 8 players, which implies lot's of heroes, lots of stacking but imo there's just way too much perma drops

Mid mine is fine

Mid camp is not, remove arti 7, just put arti, or modify it, claws 15 / Orb of frost / Crown of kings/ Mask of Death
Stone is great as well but you don't seem to enjoy summons, perma sure lasts, but perma doesn't turn side of the battle in one go like infernal does

Map wise, I like the beauty and efforts put into it, Creeps combi are nice
I'd prolly change position of some buildings as well, like fountain of health would fit better at the lab between players
Or at the shop instead

8 Labs don't feel good anway, could replace the mid ones with gold mines as well
Main issue there is how close they are to main/expo, could pop up sappers and BOOM

Could replace mid Fountain with Dragon nest as well for diversity
And I'd put trees near tavern at the opposite side and closer to it

Overall good work, I'd guess this map didn't take only a few hours to be made
We definitly don't agree on drops but that's fine, that's prolly what makes the map popular
I love drops as well I love stacking my heroes, shit's fine

See ya

Edit : Considering Shredders and Bear aren't neutral hostile but rather neutral/player controled units you might want to check bounty on those
Prolly higher than it should be :p

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
