Karnaxus (hs_goldwarrior previously) around 2005,
X Tower Defense has been completely reimagined for
Warcraft III: Reforged. Rather than simply updating the original,
XTD: Reforged is a full rewrite featuring a modern Lua codebase, improved gameplay systems, quality-of-life enhancements, and brand-new content while preserving the spirit of the original experience.
Build an arsenal of unique towers, upgrade them into devastating Spell Towers, and work together to survive increasingly challenging waves of enemies.

Educational Source Code
The complete Lua source code is available on GitHub for educational purposes, allowing Warcraft III developers to learn from the systems and architecture used in XTD: Reforged.
