I was wondering how would the P. 1500 Monster be built? Would it be on a common factory, or the German player would have to build some sort of specialized building?

Hey, did any of you believed on that link in my sig saying "World in Flames 0.1 Beta Download"? xD

Btw, 500th post :]

Lol, i just had to ckick it :) What if i would have gotten do download the beta?! ;O

Anyways, we're not quite sure as to wether or not we should include the superheavies, There are numerous gameplay issues we'd have to edal with, including the fact that the terrain would have to be adapted for them to travel. If we decide to make them however, it would be really cool if the monster would be built as a structure of it's own, on hte battlefield, and then become a unit once it is finished.

Poor Towns : Give a good amount of man power but little resources

Medium Towns : Medium gives more income than poor towns but not larger than rich and do not give as much as man power.

RICH Towns: less likely anyone will go to war from those towns but give the most resources

I want this to be like a Town System if your country goes into war or collaspe you'll start seeing rich towns go poorer and most will be dragged into war or homeless

I was looking at the Units on the website, and I came with the idea that the German Pz. IV should have increased range on Allied medium tanks. I'd say, 310 or 320 (though would match the StuG in range, lol). Either increase Panzer's attack range, or decrease T-34's and M4's.

Because Panzer's IV cannon could reach furthest than other Allied tanks.

Nevermind that anyway.

Well, of course we wan't to keep the game historically correct, but in terms of units - well balanced. Therefore tank destroyers will go with the highest range. Although some small changes may be possible. We have as said mostly tried Soviets and Finland alone.

Will stuff like air strikes be able to be 'casted'? Like, if you have enough planes, it'll send them there to drop all their bombs and automatically go back instead of having to micro every single one of them.

Is there South Korea and North Korea by the way?

Either you're just stupid or hunting post count again.
You asked Fingolfin to update the 1st post several times, but never actually read it?

"Playable factions:

Soviet Union
Great Britain (African)
Great Britain (European)
Italy
Germany
Finland
Imperial Japan
USA (Atlantic)
USA (Pacific)
China"

Or they could do the Axis and Allies system. Where planes just turn around when they run out of fuel.

Yeah, we've thought of ways to automize the airplane movement, and most propably they will become uncontrollable and return to the nearest allied airport when they run out of fuel. It might lead to awkward situations when flying over enemy territory, but at least it is better than exploding. ;)

China could receive Korean guerrillas to fight against the Japanese, according to history. Although would depend if the Chinese player would still be at war against Japan.

ps: Fingolfin got the 1337th post :P

I suggest we do it the way that planes would automatically return to closests airport indeed but can also move to other positions ordered by the player, when they reach that position however, they go to the closest airport again. But also possible to manually move it to another airport. That's how it's done in RUSE and it works very well :)
