IC: Drakis ran off, through Floating Ridge, until seeing the ocean, he screamed his strange howl, and flew off. He saw birds in the sky, which only seconds later, were already devoured by Drakis' bloodlust. He finally saw Ashen, and flew there, breathing fire on more birds that past him.

"Hello...A castle? I will slaughter all in there...Heh..."*werewolf side begins to take control of him, and his purple eyes turn to red.*

OOC: Do you mean Hegroth? Because if your gonna try that you'll get shot to death XD.

IC: Survival instincts were always a part of Cornillius's strategies, always finding ways to keep his men for weeks more than they could have. But of course he had never had to use those tactics on himself. He knew he would not be able to escape the intense sunlight, and would pass out soon. The sands would erode and bury him alive. He needed to get away from this desert before he collapsed.

But how? He thought, there were many miles left, it would take atleast 8 hours at a rapid walking rate to reach the end towards the shelters of the trees of the forests. Cornillius's mind began to take the situation into perspective. Despite his weak condition, his mind was strong. He took several things into concept; the dunes were all formed in one direction, pointing north. If he was correct, at this season, this means the winds are coming from the south, but they must be carried through by a current. This means the ocean is south. Which means there must be a fresh water source south.

He thought for a moment, trying to evaluate the situation... it was his only shot... it was risky, and could well mean his death. The way Genervo saw it he had 3 options;

He could stab himself, and end any misery ahead.

He could bury all but his head in the sands, and cover it in the remains of his tattered cloak, which might help save him from the winds when he passes out.

Or he could head south for as long as he can, and reach the fresh water current. Throw himself in, and pass out as the waters carry him and take him to the forests...

One by one, he cancelled out each of his options. And then looked towards the south...

"No....choice.." He spoke.

OOC: He's a strategist, 2 people versus an army of possibly hundreds of thousands is just stupid. Plain stupid. Even if your guy is a werewolf, atleast thats what i think he is right?

He plans his revenge... carefully.... Strategist..duh.

IC: "Its all over...." he thought. He lay lifeless on the sands, exhausted, and worse more, the winds began to pick up. "This is... how the legacy ends...". He could already feel his body dying, his legs became numb, his arms lifeless, his hand cold and wet.

Something sparked his mind... "Wet...?" He managed to turn his head, he didnt expect much, perhaps his hand was bleeding. But it was the opposite. Water. Clear, pure water. It was like a blessing. Someone must be watching over him. He managed to stand up, he drank the small puddle untill it was nothing more than wet sand. Thats when he looked up.

The stream, a current. Just as he predicted. "So...." Cornillius gasped while holding his now infected wound tightly. "The legacy... might live a little longer". He drank himself silly, careful not to get himself too full, incase it would adjust the way he flowed with the current. He then surrendered to his exhaustion and threw himself into the stream. The current began to flow his body down with the current, leaving a small trail of blood from his wounds.

It was a long shot. But if he was correct, the cold water would swell his wound, possibly saving his life. And soon near the fresh water there would be plants, and animals.

The thought of him possibly surviving was a blessing. Then again, he isnt always right.

As recent times have proven...

OOC:mato is a Forsaken and Josh is the half werewolf and mato has a huge army of undead at his disposal so there might be a chance.

IC:Aranith stood up he and ELenai had been going over countless tomes and books well into the afternoon and Aranith was tired. He exited making his way to a room right beside the libary. he took off the opened lock and entered. The room was pure white with werid metalic looking white tiles on the floor, walls, and ceiling. Aranith remembered the room made from the extremly rare Aer-proof tile. Aranith smiled and walked in "this will give me a good chance to practice a few things" the door closed and locked behind him.

I think you have me confused with someone else, plus I'm not a werewolf I'm a forsaken

Oh right i was talking to Josh. Because you both had the same intention i thought...

Ah ok. I guess the castle goes under siege or something end Elenai's elf guys go PMS and go like omfg dis is serios. Lol. Anyway

IC: "Battlements! At hand, raise those beams! Get up the blockades! Rifles! Archers! On the walls! On the wals!!!" The castle was on full alert, as the shadow of the approaching undead came closer. "What exactly is this all about general?" The emperor had a disappointed look on his face. "My lord, the dead, they have risen and have come back to torment the Hegrothrian people." Before continuing he shouted and grunted a few orders to passer byers. "They have a large army, and were hardly ready. They came so fast, so sudden, our scouts must have been taken out on the return." The emperor's smirk slumped to a frown. "So what exactly are you going to do general? Any plans?" "Basic castle battle-ment tactics. We stuff our ranged men on the walls, and have the infantry fight on the gates below." The emperor nodded, looking pleased, though the general knew he wasnt. "Carry on then..."

"It was not the same as what the other one did..." He thought. How long can Hegroth stand without another Genervo. For as long as the Hegothrian people can remember, in times of peril, there was always a member of the Genervo family with some concocted plan. Currently, Cornillius is the only hier in the legacy as his father passed several years ago... IF he is still alive that is.

Cornillius sat leaning on a near by tree, shading him from the now slowly setting sun. It had been a long day, but some how, he survived. Of course, he wasnt just sitting staring at the sun set. He was staring at the massive horde approaching in his direction. He looked behind him, and instantly thought "Hegroth..."

Standing here as they approach is foolish he thought, so he quickly began to visiualize the situation, looking for alternatives to avoid them as they passed. He began scanning the place, it was a small oasis kind of place, slowly stretching to a forest as it followed the river... It was a fat bulge of water he was near, thicker than other parts of the stream.

What did he have, a broken and now hollow cane, his fathers cane. His Mithiral short sword which seems to be the only thing in good condition. And his ragged cloak. He coughed, and thank over his options. The pain from the blackened, greenish infected gash that has gone un-treated was annoyingly frustrating and distracted his thinking. This reminded him that, if he doesnt find appropriate cover and medicine for the wound, he would die.

"Do not think about death.... think about survival" He said to himself. Cornillius threw his cloak into the mud, and began stepping on it repedeatly, he then threw himself into the mud puddle and covered himself. He saw a small reflection near the water....

He was practically invisible.

The Aer in his hand formed into a ball of fire as he through them against the walls. It had been a long time since he was able to practice his more simple spells. Just as he was about to throw a small ball of black energy he sinsed something strong to the north something dark. He took a map out of his cloak reciting "martis maron" the map glowed and zoomed deep into the human lands to the nation of Hegroth. The map enchantment was able to show movements of anything large anof. The map continued to zoom intil it showed Hegroth's capital a big red dot was moving on it strieght towards the capital. Aranith stared at it and quietly said "oh shit not again." Aranith rushed out of the room running into the giant hall Gath was standing there practicing on the equipment in it. "Gath, Hegroth is under attack again"

OOC: Oh, im starting to see a way i can fit into this. So for Hegroth's defence they try to find me right? Since i was the only one that was able to fight them off the last time? Anyway...

IC: Cornillius stared as the large army marched only a mile to the west of him. The large horde of the damned stood out very well in the rather plain waste land. "Hegroth..." he thought, looking towards the direction of the city. Although it was not visible from his position. "No, i wont... they abandon me and left me for dead.. why should'nt i do the same?" His mouth was dry, and covered in the mud he soaked himself in. His wound slowly growing a greenish blackish color from the infection. Right now, his own survival was his main priority. As he slowly slumped away, still covered in the muddy cloak, keeping himself non-visible from such a distance, he began slumping towards the forest, in a sort of hunchback walk, holding his gash as he stumbled around dizzily. He then realized the error of his mistake.

He was not only a strategist, but a leader of his people. Not only will they die without him. But he wont last long without them either.

Walking the distance to Hegroth would be suicide, for several reasons. He would die before he got a quarter of the way, the damned army would see him wandering in the desert, and even if he did, by some miracle make it to Hegroth, they would not accept him, and would already have assigned their generals to the tasks needed.

There was not much he could do but attempt to survive.

IC: "I do not know Aranith...I do not want to empty the garrison at Silven Tiran so soon, fore my Pilgrimage is not yet complete, and I do not know what the Silverstar will give to aid us...and I do not want to reveal our existence at this time...But Hegroth is an important buffer for us.

We must find out what we can do...perhaps in disquise as High Elves....or perhaps in a different manner, we could aid Hegroth..."

With that Elenai pulled out several books and scrolls from his sphere...

"We must find something to aid Hegroth...we need a way to fight this menace without revealing the Celestial Elves existence."

OOC: OMG YOUR BACK heres a summery by Elenai. He made a litle while back a few days and posts ago.

"High above in the skies over Ashen...The Celestial Elf Seers of the Silverstar Council sensed the winds of war blackened by a wave of Necromancy, and sent their fleet under the command of Elenai Lefein, to seek out artifacts, and to seek out the scource of this wave of undeath, and acertain it...should it's poison reach the Flying Kingdom.

Elenai went forth with the fleet, and their he met Gath, his long time friend. And a Dracon named Kamir, and a Wood Elf named Shanna..of whome held a bow that wounded Elenai's Grandfather...

They traveled together for a time, and came upon a Village attacked by undead, and so Elenai purged the village as the percepts of Etheriel state must be done.

And after traveling Elenai attempted took the bow...but strangley...vengence no longer held his heart...and he returned it to Shanna.

They then came upon the scource of the Necromantic blasphemy. Arrillon the Mad-King, who was possessed by the first Mad-King who ruled over the kingdom of Theredor..as it was called when Larissa shined upon it. He was entomed in the very black tome that tainted him...The Tome of Malastar, and as Arrillion his descendent came upon it, and opened its pages he was consumed, and the Mad-King was reborn.

And so Arrillion imprissoned his people, and killed them, tortured them, and twisted them into abominations of undeath, and experimented on them...until he perfected his plague of undeath.

The only sanctuary that remained...was the Cathedral of Larissa and the Paladins who defended it....

Elenai then placed a fortress in the mountains...and called it Silven Tiran, and made the first foot hold on the surface.

Elenai then discovered the undead as they assaulted the Cathedral of Larissa, and sent his fleet to destroy them...It was there that Elenai fell...as he battled the undead fiend Arrillion in mortal combat...He was victorious, having layed the final blow, Arrillion shed his mortal shell, and his spirit fled into the wastes..but Elenai was doomed by his own weakness, when the Cathedral came crashing down, and he failed to hold it...and failed to keep it standing...The once shining temple of Larissa...was now a den of rats and rubble.

Elenai then fell into a deep depression..only Shanna kept him above the brink of slipping into madness...

It was then after recovering...Elenai sent Shanna away to saftey...and Gath took Kamir under his wing, to train in the woods....

Kamir then seperated from Gath, and went with the Crystalmen, and has not returned since.

Elenai and Gath then sent the fleet to guard Silven Tiran, and to keep Celestial Elven dominance intact, and to guard against the evil of Malastar lest its master return.

Elenai also sent word to the council requesting that an order of mages be sent to hunt the spirit of Arrillion, lest he be reborn.

Elenai then recovered set out with his fleet, to hunt a Forsaken, that they had caught sent of when returning from the Cathedral...Little did they know that they were being lead into a trap...and thus they fell into it. And were trapped in the mind...It was here that Elenai and Gath were tortured. And Elenai was tortured the most...For not only had he failed against the undead Arrillion..But he was trapped by a Forsaken...It was then discovered that the Forsaken was not a Forsaken but a servant of him...Being so easily trapped by a mere servant, and an undead servant at that....it was the last crack in Elenai's spirit..and he finally fell apart...He was so broken by his weakness, and failure to destroy the heresies...that only the intervention of Etheriel..A vision, was able to free him, and so he was freed, and with the aid of Gath, Destroyed the Heretic and banished the Forsaken to the hells.

But Elenai was broken, and by order of Etheriel..was sent on a pilgremage. His command, Find Wisdom, Find Lore, and Find redemption.

And so Elenai left the fleet, and with Gath, began the pilgremage. Gath however left, to find his own way. And so Elenai was left alone, and it was there that Aranith found him..and so they went together and found Silas, a High Elf.

And the three traveled together, and came upon a forest, inhabited by wolf men, and battled there....But from the darkness...A new enemy came...A Forsaken named Bal'Zammon.

And it was there in that forsest, that they fist battled the heathenous undead creature.

And after driving him from their path..they traveled onward to Grensintdale, and it was there that for the second time they battled Bal'Zammon.

Fore Bal'Zammon had come to that city, werein the Malice of Vergus, was held under guard, in the keep.

And so he broke the keep, and sent forth chaos into the city, and took the mace...And using its power, called forth an unholy demon...The Hell Mount Az'Guron.

It was here that Elenai was blessed...Fore Etheriel the most high, came down, and made Elenai his will made manifest, and in time, was fully possessed by his might, and he became one with the god, filled with his power. And it was there that he smote the demon down, and sealed his redemption.

Elenai was now free...and his failure, removed....

All that was left now...was to lay the final blow upon Bal'Zamon...But Bal'Zamon fled again, surrounded by his black tendrels, he escaped under the shadow, and traveled at once, for Malastar.

It was then discovered that the Tome of Malastar, had come into his hands, when Arrillion was defeated, the tome fell from his hand, and in the rubble, Bal'Zamon found it. And with its power, learned of Theredor, and of the secrets of Malastar.

And now...Etheriel who is Zerinias, has left Elenai's body...and has returned to the heavens...Leaving Elenai who has taken the name Illunfar, now redeemed, and fullfilled. But still his pilgremage continues....for Bal'Zamon still lives....

...And so...the story continues.

OOC: Am i the powerful weapon by any chance? (probebly not)

IC: Dawn was rising, the cover of the night was fading, and the large undead army was still marching around his area. He knew that he had to make a dash for the woods, run or walk fast for about half an hour untill he got to the cover of the trees... but could he even run? Cornillius looked at his slowly infecting wound, and realized if he didnt find a solution he would faint from the infection within a day. It was time to strategize...

Cornillius began looking for his options once again, there were a few trees scattered, the mud pool was not getting any smaller, and the stream driving its current was still near him.

He formulated 3 options, he could stay in the cover of the mud pool, wait the undead to pass and hope for the best, he could run, taking cover between the few trees. Or he could, once again, depend on the river to flow him down stream...

Cornillius thought about it for about half a minute, thats all the time it usually takes for him to formulate every possible consequence of every possible solution. It was one of the things people claimed him to be gifted with, literarly a "Fast Thinker". He decided he had to run across the cover of the night and with shelter of the trees, if he could numb the wound with the cold water from the stream, it would not be as hard as it should be to walk or run that far. He wet a cloth with the cold water, wrapped it around his wound...

And then he ran/walk fast crouched and staying near the cover of the trees.

OOC: Becouse he is a Dracon, he doesn't realy see much difference betwee male and female Humanoids.

OOC: Kamir! I must meet up with you..and here your tales of your encounter with the crystalmen...

Elenai soon found it..."AHAH!" Exclaimed Elenai..."The Lance of Thyrenai!"...Long ago before the rise of Celestial Elven airships a great elven warrior astride a mighty warbird...faced a dragon assault with this lance...and it was in this battle..that the Lance was lost into history...Some say that after the battle Thyrenai cast it to the earth...others say, it was stolen, or fell from its place in the heavens...I shall look for it, for it contains the same powers of the ElenAstralis, that my crystal blade holds..and with both artifacts. I will be able to defeat Bal'Zamon once and for eternity."

She waved her hand over the water the mud drained out and fell to the ground in a dry hump the water was as clear as it could be she fed it into her canteens and started walking once more.

IC: Elenai pulled out a scroll....And waving a hand above the runes..he watched as the scroll burst into flames...and as he dropped it..A mighty bird flew outward, and landed before him.

"Though we Elves have a mighty fleet of airships, and even flying machines...the warbird is still an incredible force in our fleet..."

OOC: The Celestial Elves have a mighty fleet indeed, and even flying machines. But they are too few for the entire army.

The large fleet can transport most of its military, and the flying machines act as escorts, or attack vehicles sent from the fleets.

But the Warbird is the most common form of aerial mount. having 5-3 warbirds for every 1 flying machine.

IC: Elenai mounted the mighty bird...its blue and silver plumage, streaked with gold and hues of red and oranged...flanked with azure colors. Each feature of the bird, from his feathers to his beak spoke of a very elven appearance...

And high into the sky he flew...Commanding, "To the desert wastes!!!"

The vast horde could see the rooftops of teh towers of Hegroth, Bal'Zamon slowed down, and the rest of the undead marched pass him. He looked at the city and recited "Palpito". The roar of something similar to thunder echoed through the air, and suddenly one of the towers cracked and almost half of it collapsed to the ground, crushing a squad of soldiers, and caving in a taverns' roof. Bal'Zamon smiled, and galloped onwards...

Within the horde, not noticed becouse of his clothing, was Kamir, he had hidden his wings, wich wasn't very comfortable, but possible, and could go for one of the undead, as he walked with the undead, he grabbed something in his robe and pushed it into the skull of the Undead in front of him, he then walked a couple of meters further and did the same, he did this to 10 Undead, slowly going to the back of the horde, and at the back he went out, hiding behind a small tree.

Gath, Aranith, and Eval gathered around in a small circle the other of the Circle could not be reached and they had to go. They all recited "trnsan" they turned into shadows of there self and teleported right into the deapth of the undead army. Like shadowy foms to humans but like undead to the undead they walked with the group in the back quickly but carefully picking out the stragglers making there way to the front.

IC: Distress could be heard from miles away, the clatter of battle-arms getting ready, captains grunting orders, archers and riflemen taking their posts at the top of the walls.

One of the reason that Hegroths walls have never been breached was because the walls were massive, thick, and lined with cannons (Inside the walls) and archers and riflemen hidden behind metallic shields on the top of the walls. (OOC: Think Troy, only more heavily armed) Lancers with long shields and lances lined up and made the front of the army. Their long lances could pick off at the enemy meters before they could reach them. Behind them were the swordsman, and then the peltests, who wore small shields and had atleast a dozen throwing spears each. They were not put on walls as they could not throw spears as far as an archer could fire his arrow. How ever, peltests being at a close range were VERY accurate, and excellent for picking off cavarly.

If Cornillius was there, he would have planned it differently. While this is a good structure for a defensive army, they need several things. They need to lay out several abmushes, to flank the enemy and break their formations.

Because, as every Genervo knows, a broken unit of infantry are doomed when against lancers. Than, as the infantry would slowly fall apart, he would call in the peltests to eradicate any cavarly or air infantry supporting the broken army. And finnaly as a finisher, he would send in the entire battalion of swordsman to clean up the remains, within minutes, he would have had the army fleeing.

That is, IF Cornillius was there. But he wasnt, he was dashing through the woods, still loved by his people, but hated by his king. Ironic that Genervo had time to think about all this, when now, he was locked in a battle of wits with a large bear that has just crossed his path. He suddenly realized it was nearing Dawn. The bears would go out to hunt.

He stood stiff, frozen, holding his wound with one hand, and slowly drawing his sword with the other. Cautious not to aggrivate it. He could feel a cold shiver up the back of his neck as the bear turned its head. And grinned a supposedly evil grin. Revealing its long sharp teeth.

Cornillius swallowed, and point his sword outwards while moving back.

The undead horde could now see the city gate. Only about a mile away from the gates they formed linear ranks, swordsmen first, spearmen second and archers in the back of the thick undead line. Bal'Zamon spoke "Pathetic wretches, succumb to the will of Laventriss! This your only warning" 'twas a calm tone, though it could be heard throughout the battlefield and inside the city walls.....

IC: The human army stayed in formation, some newly trained recruits had their knees shaking. But they all stood their ground. General Edward Henelice, Cornillius' replacement, stood upon a large tower, overviewing the entire battlefield. "Are you sure this will work, is it really nesscary to lead this men to th-" Edward raised his hand, shushing his servant. "No need to worry, their sacrofice will not be in vane.

Many of the soldiers were itching, and oddly enough... they were all wet... wet with something, though there was no scent or trace of what it was. Water or otherwise.

"Fools" Bal'Zamon mumbled. He raised his hand and his army charged at the humans, cutting through their ranks like knife through butter. Bal'Zamon recited "Atrum Veho", a black bolt of lightning cut through the sky and crushed into the human army.....

IC: Elenai upon his war bird quickly flew toward the desert...High up in the mountain bastions of that sandy waste...lay the ruins of a dragon shrine...Dragons being intelligent creatures...yet also quite greedy kept great hordes of treasures...some treasures more priceless that others, like vaste libraries of tomes and scrolls..and either the lance or information would likley be held there.

OOC: I hope this seige lasts a long time...like a massive battle, where both armies have to pull back and entrench.

Gath, Aranith, and Eval noticed the battle had started ran with the undead(the spell on them makes the undead think they are undead but to all others they seem perfectly human). In the front ranks now they nodded to each other and the spell dispersed showing their human form to all. A number of things happened before the undead even noticed Gath punched the ground with his fist a bright light came out of the ground blinding the advancing undead and with his sabers drawn he sruke down a good number of the undead with extremely precise accuracy. Aranith grinned the black glove melted revealing his bony hand green Aer formed around it a number of the undead turned around on their former allies and began to battle with them as Aranith took up his sword and also began to clash with the army. Eval raised the long staff he carried into the air his body split into different forms each identical. He then began to throw spells into the undead horde as his *clones* pulled out there swords and charged into the crowd.

IC: Elenai finally made it to the mountain peaks...and deep into its side, was a massive chamber....It was protected by a large door of rock, primitively carved, and great gashes struck with in it...It was made by a large wyrm..A dragon of old, said to have been a survivor of their assault upon Era-Etheriel, The Flying Kingdom.

Elenai walked inside, his warbird faithfully followed...He lifted his hand and a bright light illuminated the room...inside...was a huge skeleton, a great bone carapice of a long dead dragon tyrant.

He looked upon his horde and saw a great library of scrolls and tomes...Thousands of written works...and as he gazed upon the wall behind the fossilized dragon...he saw incredible ingravings, runes upon runes written in the dragon tongue. The entire surface of the wall, that soared high above, a great facade, that dwarfed Elenai, that made him seem like an insect in comparison to this monolith was covered in them.

Elenai nearly fainted at the site...Precious classics, long lost knowledge, and a vast library of mythical lore, long though lost...catalogues, maps, tomes, engravings...All here in this massive horde.

This was no ordinary, gold thirsty dragon...this was a scholar...a patron of the written word.

Elenai imediately contacted the Silverstar Council, and then his garrison at Silven Tiran...and ordered that this library be claimed for the Celestial Elven Kingdom, in the name of Etheriel...

Elenai called this place Libriel Tiran.
