OOC: Basically I am doing three things.

-Searching for Lore and relics.

-Battleing undead/demons in a more solo fashion, sort of like an infiltration.

-Re-building my self, soul searching, going through a cleansing, that sort of thing. So that I can regain my honor and ect, after my defeat/weakness at the hands of Arrillion the Mad-King, and the Forsaken.

And like any good pilgrimage, I might visit a few holy sites along the way.

IC: Silas pursued the small dragon for a while, then abruptly stopped. The dragon paralleled the action. He looked around, then drew his rifle. The engraving glowed of a fiery red again, and Silas took careful aim. A gigantic explosion burst forth in a fireball the shape of the dragon shown on the engraving, and when the flame was gone, there lay on the ground a dead werewolf, transforming back into a human upon death.
"I guess we know what territory we're in now."

IC: Silas' eyes darted left and right, with increased suspicion now that the first blood has been drawn. "They're werewolves, and this is their part of the forest. In their human forms, they probably live in caves, and feast on the people at night. They've marked this place rather strongly, I must say. All the trees around here just reek of urine.. it's a miracle I haven't noticed where we were earlier." Silas noticed a trail of blood, and a set of tracks that definitely weren't from wolves. "Looks like we're not the only ones with werewolf problems too..."

IC: Just then Elenai's leaf kites spotted a group of werewolves heading their way......Elenai being alerted of this said to Silas...."If werewolves are like wolves...then would they not hunt in packs, and come toward prey and trap them?.....Would it be best to make a fire to keep the beasts away?"

IC: Silas looked at him. Illunfar was most definitely not what he made himself look like. A loremaster traveling on a pilgrimage whose only security was an even shadier human surely could not survive with but basic knowledge of magic. Let it go, Silas thought to himself. He sighed and forced fascination with the smoke rising to the sky on himself.

Aranith looked around he could sense the presence of werewolves but he thought about all the tomes he had read. "this is impossible werewolves don't live this close togather never its, its unheard of there must be some trickery to this." "Be on your guard Silas and Ele....... Illunfar." He looked at Silas hoping him not to of heard his mistake.

No offense, but your views on originality are either really vague or really fluctuant.

OOC: but werewolves i can understand maybe a few but there not going to be a big forest of them. Then you get into vampires and then the whole rp turns into a huge vampire hunt or some crap like that. And Elves, Undead, Goblins, Orcs, Dwarves, and Dragons are the staple creatures of almost every fantasy. Forsakens are original everything about it except for the name was my creation.

IC: Elenai having keen elven senses was hit by a shot of fear at the slip up Aranith had done....but hoping it had gone un-noticed, he simply began to talk about the current trials at hand....

"Werewolves.....hmmz...I read in a tome long ago, when I was studying at various libraries, about wolven aversions to certain elements like silver, however this was proved to be false, fore werewolves were not affected by silver. It turns out, that they are effected not by the metal, but by certain properties imbued into it."

OOC: lets not argue about the beastiary of the RP, afterall, a cheesy werewolf hunt, melded with some original lore behind it, might be fun.

IC: Silas ignored Aranith's slip up, and continued to look at the smoke rising to the sky. He sighed, and said quietly "The anatomy of a werewolf is quite unique. Their hides are extremely tough to the point of deflecting arrows, leaving only a scratch or a bruise. It leaves only certain parts of the body, such as the eyes, undefended. Furthermore, their strength is almost twice that of a normal human's, and their sense of smell is more sensitive than mine. They're not very adept in magic, however. In the past, it's taken months for an entire village to kill a single werewolf, assuming the paladins didn't help, which they never did. With this poison you speak of, however, it should take but a few seconds. Do you, by any chance, know how to concoct such a thing? After all, you ARE a loremaster..."

IC: Elenai replied..."Indeed I do Silas...I read in a tome once, about certain mushrooms, and ivies that when mixed together in water, and boiled will make a poison tea.....and when this tea is congealed into a paste it is very easy to apply to weapons....First we need several bunches of the Gravestone mushroom, and a few dozen leaves of the Heretic vine....And water....also we need sand...."

OCC: Gravestone Mushrooms-Known for the high neural toxins found in its frills. It is called a gravestone mushroom, because when its poison entered the blood stream of a victim, it locked them into a rigormortis coma...hence making them seem as dead stone.

Heretic Vine-The leaves of this ivy are known for causing massive hallucinations of bright light, like a sun...It is called the "Heretic vine" for two reasons....it mimics the light caste by the Goddess Larissa, and yet it is a poison thing, and blasphemous to her name. Also if left unchecked, it likes to over-run chapel gardens, and likes to crawl up the stone walls of holy shrines cracking them along the way.

IC: Elenai then took a leaf from the tree next to him....I read about this in another library....he then took the leaf and spoke to it in a whisper of elven (celestial elven)....and it glowed blue and pointed towards the forest interior..."Use this as a compass...you will find the materials."

IC: Silas stared. One of the Phoenix Clan's main duties was to maintain diplomatic relations with other elven factions, and of the many languages and dialects he mastered, this one was completely foreign to him.
"Hey, Illunfar... what kind of elf did you say you were again?"

IC: Elenai then replied..."If he becomes a burden.....I shall break his suspicion with illusions..."

And when they had walked off, Elenai took the canteen, and put it on the fire to heat the water....

OOC:The dirt isnt in the canteen just yet Gath [I think you put dirt in it in the RP]

IC: Silas stopped by a river along the way, to take a drink of water. He took off his right hand, revealing a black phoenix insignia. As soon as he dipped his right hand in, the emblem on back of his palm lit aflame. He instantly withdrew his hand and clutched it in pain. He put the glove over his right hand again, the insignia fading back to black.
"Damn," he thought aloud, "this must be part of the human borders."
He picked up the leaf again, and realized that it was pointed towards a tree on the path from which he came. He hadn't noticed it before, but the tree was actually completely dead, its branches completely bare. On it grew a small group of mushrooms with a deathly complexion. Taking a knife from his belt, also elaborately designed, with an engraving of a dragon on its blade, he cut off a few of the mushrooms and stored them in a pouch. He washed his blade by the river, and walked off.

OOC: The Phoenix Clan consists of half elves, who are seen as people who will easily betray the human empire. When half elves join the military, they are branded with a phoenix, and are magically binded to the allegiance of the human empire. Part of this bond is restricting unauthorized exits from the country.
IC: Silas walked back to where Illunfar resided, holding in hand the pouch of mushrooms.

IC: And so Elenai put the leaves into the canteen and set it on the fire to boil......and when the poisoned tea was made, he cut up the mushroom frills and placed them inside...He closed the bottle, and shook it. Afterwards he took a bowl and put some dirt in it...then he poured the poison into the dirt and mixed it, creating a thick, and deadly mud.

OOC: Time for my intrusion
PS: maybe roytheboytoo could play if he changed his character a bit?

IC:Elenai and Aranith charged of into the night, unknowing of the dark hooded figure hovering above them.
As they were running through the thick darkness they could sense something unusual as if the darkness of night was tainted
Suddenly they heard a loud snapping sound, a large creature broke through the veil of darkness charging at Aranith...

OOC: It is better that we play our own characters and control our own characters actions...Its like several writers making a story, but they are each writing their own characters actions.

So instead of saying that my character did this or this....write something that will perhaps pressure my character to do that or that.

Basically, dont write what our characters do, write what your character does, and hope that your characters actions will influence our actions to your goal.

Or you can ask us to make our characters do that action in OCC: (out of character)

You can also introduce conflicts, but you cannot directly control our actions.
And we might then at our own pace make our character do something in IC: (in character)
