Warcraft: Destruction of Azeroth Part One

destructionofazerothlec.png

Story so far in the World of Azeroth:

With the defeat of the Kingdom of Azeroth, the few survivors fled to seek refuge on their neighbor lands to find new homes for the people who lost their homes to the Horde threat and tell the leaders of the new land the terrible menace they faced and fought.
With their victory as well the Horde, had few mishaps.
Gul'dan while he was collecting information from Medivh's dieing mind, he slipped into a coma and this was the perfect time for Orgrim to strike and put his plan into motion.
Without the faithful warlocks to help him, Blackhand was killed for his crimes serving the Shadowmoon Council and each of the dark spellcasters were hunted down and only a few remained.
Exposed and weak from his coma he cowardly witnessed Orgrim's plan for him and his few remaining followers, and Gul'dan promised royal followers to aid Orgrim in his plans for conquering Azeroth.
Gul'dan promised servants of dark magic and power that will only serve him to their end of times. Using his powers and the very group that helped him, Gul'dan was able to create Death Knights.
Terrors of darkness and by using the fallen bodies of the Azeroth Knights, Gul'dan was able to create a whole of them.
Soon Gul'dan set his plans into motion as well, and promised Orgrim his loyalty to him, and his was willing to follow the human survivors into the new land.
Then the Horde chased after the Stormwind survivors from their crafted fleet and soon it began the tale of the World of Warcraft: Destruction of Azeroth.

Reconsidering a possible project, I'll be remaking the proud Warcraft II for Warcraft III style and it will involve both the games and novels storyline and all the units and such as well.

The reason why I plain this project out is because I enjoyed the Warcraft II games and wanted to let people to enjoy the style of Warcraft III into the Second War era.

By beyond that, the upgraded units from Warcraft II will become heroes, and they will have their own abilities and will help their own force be successful and there will be creeps as well to get experience to level up your heroes.
There will be cut scenes as well involving greater enhanced quality involving funny or serious situations.

The characters involving the Second War will be in the Campaigns, and it will involve eighteen maps for each Campaigns and there will a lot of stuff to do, like commanding troops, building forces, killing creeps among the wilds and mountains and other great things.

The units will also get a change into this project as well as they get to have their attack power and the knight will battle with the ogre and so on.
You will enjoy this so don't worry and I promise, ships will be involved in this.

If you have any questions involving and ideas or suggestions please comment, and thank you for your time.

It's time for a FAQ now:
[/I]
Will the Proud Noble man Anduin Lothar will be in this project?
Yes, and he shall command the Alliance of Lordaeron and meet his fate at the orc leader, Orgrim Doomhammer.

Will the evil chief warlock go and try to claim his prize?
Yes. but he will fall to the Black Tooth Grin Clan. Cho'gall somehow survives, but I won't tell you more.

How much Warcraft II things are you gonna put into this Warcraft III styled campaign?
I'm glad you asked that question. It will involve, training your troops like humans having footmen, archers, and their flying machines. You can train all your troops and send them to take your enemy, kinda like how you did in Warcraft III or RTS games.
The units as well will be different in this project as well, and you will be forced to know that some units can attack some units without being killed.
I hope Warcraft Fans alike will enjoy this and I hope to have willing people who will help me make this project for them and old fans alike.

Will their be secrets?
Yes, like the Warcraft III Frozen Throne Blood Elf campaign there will be secrets to find and some of the prized treasures will make you laugh and play some more to make the project well known.
We don't want fans alike to be bored of the campaign, and we want willing people who would make a campaign fun to play.

Will ships be involved and oil?
When I get a chance to learn more about the trigger works I'll add a custom resource with oil so you can send your oil tankers and collect oil.
With this done, I'll make sure the project will be liked, and thought of.

What Heroes will be involved?
Despite its original, the remake will have heroes, like now the Mage, Death Knight, Ogre Mage, and Paladin will be heroes for now on. The new heroes I've chosen will be Troll Warlord, Tinker, and Blademaster for the Horde, and then Ranger, Rouge, and then the Thane for Alliance.

How many maps and campaigns will there be?
Eighteen maps each for each one campaign involving the Second War Era, telling of the novels and the games into one.
The Horde's campaign will be first and then the Alliance's, and then so on in Beyond of the Dark Portal.
If you complete the campaigns and such there will be secret in which to replay the old Warcraft II maps I will pick and remake them for Warcraft III and you can edit them all you want.

How long will the campaigns take?
Not sure yet, but we aren't like Flash or anything, but after awhile I got some help so it wouldn't take long, but don't expect anything right away.
I might release a preview or two depends on how the campaign goes.

Will all characters from the Second War will be involved in these campaigns?
Of course and each of them will do their own duty and such. Kinda like how the Warcraft III campaigns with their heroes going through the lands and learning the storyline beyond that.
Oh and some heroes/villains will be shown sometimes, but the main ones will be used for the whole campaigns. I'm not promising anything, but if you want to help out then speak up and leave a comment on my profile.

Will there be cutscenes?
Yes and funny ones at that. I don't want to tell you the details just yet, but you will find out there will be scenes involving a lot of Horde and Alliance forces in the campaigns which will make the campaigns take time to play.

Which Warcraft II maps are you gonna pick from the bunch of them?
Well I'm not sure yet, but I will go through my recruitment and tell them which ones they want and what ones I want, and then have a vote for which ones we will remake. Don't worry, they will be made between the campaigns so the creators can take a break and don't feel like being rushed.
Hope you enjoy them as much as we are gonna remake them for new and old fans a like. :goblin_good_job:

What races will be involved in this campaign?
The Horde and Alliance will be involved with a few skeletons as undead. The Undead Scourge wasn't created just yet, and the Night Elves weren't even around or mentioned in the Second Era.
There will creeps around and other races as well for all of Azeroth and Draenor that will involve people to accept their help to help them out.
I won't be telling all the details just yet, but you can chose what allies you want and it will affect your later chooses in the later maps.
Like a example if you chose to help a village from a squad of bandits they will send a helpful group of forces to aid you and so on for the Orcs as well.

What will be the name of this campaign?
DoA or Warcraft: Destruction of Azeroth.
It will involve both the Horde and the Alliance going through the Second War Era destroying each other to save their own worlds and then having the Sons of Lothar being trapped on Draenor.
Their fates were unknown, but with Burning Crusade they survived the explosion of Draenor.
Well this information won't happen in the DoA, but I plan too have a lot of good things happen and hope the campaign will be successful during its time.
I have been willing to create a campaign for some time now, so I'm really excited for allies and willing people helping me out with it.

Will each hero in the campaign and in the Melee Maps will have its own name?
Yes, and I plan on making my own names for the Melee Heroes and having the regular Heroes be the ones in Warcraft II.

What will be the release date for Warcraft Destruction of Azeroth?
:vw_wtf:
Ummmmm...not around the corner like your asking, but it will be released sometime, and DON'T ASK FOR ANYTHING!!!

Where do I find the units stats and such to know what I'm up against?
It will below the FAQs and it will tell your information on which units kill who and what it effective to destroy the certain army your telling with.

Will there any Burning Legion agents or demons involved?
Yes, only at the Tomb of Sargeras for the Second Era, so that there won't be much trouble with the campaign if there isn't a large army of demons.
But there are demons guarding Gul'dan's remains in which you have to collect the skull for Ner'zhul.
Not going to tell you much more, but you will return to the Tomb of Sargeras to collect a rod of some sort.

What creep levels will you be choosing?
One to the amount it can go too.

From making the Campaign which race do you like more?
I personally like the Horde, but it doesn't mean the Alliance won't get any treatment either for they have their own maps and such as well.

What other races will be involved in this campaign?
Well the Draenei have been mentioned in the Beyond the Dark Portal novel and one of them will be helping out a Alliance leader.
One Arakkoa will be involved as well, and a lot of creeps, creatures, mutated things on Draenor, dragons and so on in the Warcraft Universe.

Did you make up the custom names yourself?
Yes, and if you want to use them, please give credit.

Any familiar faces will be in this campaign? Like the people who fought during the Second War Era and having a place among this campaign?
Yes, like Sir Anduin Lothar, Lion of Azeroth, Teron Gorefiend the leader of the Death Knights, Deathwing using his dark magics and facing the Alliance.
Well yes, a lot of familiar faces will be mentioned and used.

Any chance you will be releasing any melee maps?
Yes, and they will be done after a campaign or two. Don't worry, we don't plan to take to long and then take a break for a long time and then quit making this campaign. Regardless, the campaigns will be made and as a bonus the melee maps will be there as well.

No the terrian will be slightly different and I will have custom trees for the places of the world and having cliffs will affect the gameplay.
Just say a mission will involve a certain side to take over a certain spot and they have to take over it for a few minutes for so and then that spot is theirs.
Kinda like King of the Hill, but not the TV Show and the actual game.
I'm not saying that will be a actual mission, just a example on the new terrain will be infect with the remake.
I'll be having a idea on where in the prologue on the prince from Stormwind needs to flee the kingdom underground and having raiders and a warmaster follow the beasts underground where the prince and his protectors went.
The Raiders and warmaster will send grunts with wolves to scout for the survivors and the map will just have you doing a stealth mission from keeping your troops alive while you go to through the Stormwind Undergrounds trying to make your way to Lord Anduin Lothar and his band of Stormwind fighters.
There will be other creeps and what not in the dungeon so you'll have to make sure your clerics and mages stay safe from them so they can help with the footman and spearman. There won't be any Knights of Stormwind though in this though, because they were destroyed from the Attack of Stormwind, but I'll be having light infantry units of horseman that Anduin Lothar commands.
Kinda like on how the war affects the troops, but Anduin Lothar and his merry band of helpers and what not will decide to flee the land and make it to the Northern Lands, and which are Lordaeron and Quel'thalas in the North, but before that happens I want a kinda big prologue explaining what happened in the Warcraft I Era and how the Horde and Alliance will plan out their next moves for the future.

Heroes of the Horde:
Horde_32.gif

ORCS & HUMANS
Blackhand the Destroyer; Warchief of the Horde
blackhandthedestroyer.png

A Raider of the Sythegore Arm, and one of the most respected warriors in the Horde, Blackhand became the renowned chieftain of the powerful Blackrock clan on Draenor. Known as a tactical genius and a ruthless dictator who demanded respect from his warriors, his ego and lust for power made him very easy to manipulate — a fact which Gul'dan discovered very quickly.
Through political manipulation and by stoking the embers of Blackhand's ego, Gul'dan was able to convince the Blackrock chieftain that he was a respected equal in the warlock's dark scheme, both the public leader of the Horde and a member of the secret Shadow Council; he was in fact merely a means to an end for the evil warlock.
He soon meant his end at his trusted second, Orgrim Doomhammer and took over Horde.

Rend Blackhand; Son of Blackhand and Chieftain of the Black Tooth Grin Clan
rendblackhandbrothertom.png

Rend and his brother and sister had a short childhood due to Warlocks aging of children, but unlike other Orc parents Blackhand was happy to put forward his children first for artificial aging. After 'coming of age' Rend served with the other members of the First Horde in the fight to exterminate the Draenei.
During the Second War, Rend served as lieutenant to Warchief Orgrim Doomhammer. He and his brother Maim often questioned Doomhammer's orders, as Orgrim killed Blackhand the Destroyer and took his place as Warchief. However, Orgrim allowed the insubordination because the two brothers were leaders of the powerful Black Tooth Grin clan.
During the siege of the Capital City of Lordaeron, Rend was ordered by Doomhammer to have his clan break off and chase after the traitorous Gul'dan, who had taken to the sea in search of the Eye of Sargeras.[5]
Rend and Maim later personally fought Turalyon at the Dark Portal, only to flee when it became evident that the paladin had the upper hand.
Rend and Maim took control of the remaining Blackrock orcs and began to rebuild the Horde at Blackrock Spire. About two years later, the Dark Portal reopened and emissaries from Ner'zhul were immediately sent to Rend and Main asking them to rejoin the Horde, and to ask to borrow the red dragons held captive by the allied Dragonmaw clan. Rend refused.

Maim Blackhand; Son of Blackhand and Chieftain of the Black Tooth Grin Clan
maimblackhandbrothertor.png

Maim Blackhand was the son of former warchief Blackhand the Destroyer, brother of Rend Blackhand and Griselda.
After their father’s assassination, Maim and his brother Rend took what followers they could and splintered off from the Blackrock Clan, founding the Black Tooth Grin clan. They did this to retain some of the power which they believed was their birthright, without directly opposing Orgrim Doomhammer's accession to power, so he would take no action against them.
During the Second War, they were given control of the Dark Portal. Some rumors say that Maim retreated with Kilrogg Deadeye to Draenor, only to die there, either to human blades or as a victim of betrayal. However, this was not the case.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Durotan; Chieftain of the Forstwolf Clan
duratan1.png

Apparently accepting their fate, Durotan and the Frostwolf Clan settled deep in a hidden valley in the Alterac Mountains, far to the north of the Kingdom of Azeroth. There they lived throughout the First War. While there, Drek'Thar had forsaken the path of the warlock and was able to regain the favor of the spirits, and return to shamanism. His aid would be invaluable in surviving in the harsh lands which the Frostwolves now called home; in addition to ensuring that the encampment was not flooded in the spring thaw, they also befriended the white wolves that made the valley their home. It was at the end of the First War that Draka, Durotan's mate and most stalwart supporter, gave birth to Durotan's son and heir, the orc who would become known as Thrall. Realizing that there was far more at stake now that his legacy would live on, Durotan decided to take action against the evil Gul'dan, and travelled to the encampment of the only other orc who had stood by him: Orgrim Doomhammer.
Durotan and Draka's murder as depicted in Warcraft Legends 2
Doomhammer had, by this time, assassinated Blackhand and become the Warchief of the Horde, and welcomed Durotan and Draka into his encampment. Durotan explained what he knew - about Gul'dan, the Shadow Council, the demonic bargain. Doomhammer vowed that he would stand at Durotan's side as they confronted Gul'dan with his crimes, but - for the good of his warriors and Durotan as well - he had to send them away to what he thought was a safe place. It was found out later that several of Doomhammer's warriors had been Gul'dan's spies...and one of them had accompanied Durotan and Draka to their "safe haven".
The treacherous guard had summoned assassins to kill the Frostwolf chieftain and his mate. Though he managed to kill at least one of them, Durotan was too severely wounded to continue. His arms sliced off to prevent him from holding his child again, Durotan died slowly as the lifeblood drained out of him, the last thought in his mind being a sense of relief that he would not see his son torn apart by the creatures of the forest.

Urok Scratcher; Traveling Shaman Hermit
urokthetraveler.png

was an apprentice shaman and chief advisor to the ruthless commander of the Blackrock clan, Orgrim Doomhammer. He was the author of The Dominion of Lordaeron, which recorded the Horde's actions during the Second War. He was called "Scratcher" because of his habit of scribbling rather than mindlessly killing, but he would soon be the one who laughed. For too long his people had ignored their need to record their methods. He was confident that his chronicles would benefit only those who recognized this need, but mostly because there were very few of his kind who could read.
As a follower of the mystic arts, he was intensely aware that the devouring of a world was of the highest possible honor in the eyes of their dark Gods. The Great Portal had allowed them the opportunity to do just that, and it was Urok's intent to arm every orc, troll, ogre, and goblin ally of their clan with knowledge in addition to power; bloodlust was their nature, but passion for destruction required direction. Knowing this he compiled maps from scouting reports, accompanied by descriptions of our orders and military tactics for clarification. The pages were to be the weapon with which his clan ascended above all others, to claim the honor of annihilating the new world and its inhabitants.

Nothgrin; Orc Warlock of the Old Horde -Mentioned
orcwarlock.png

Some time after the Opening of the Dark Portal, Medivh ordered his new assistant, the young Khadgar, to follow him. They both used their own gryphon for the travel, which was the very day Medivh had come back from a two-week trip away from his reclusive spire of Karazhan.
As they arrived above the Black Morass, they saw a wrecked caravan, burnt to ashes, and a volley of arrows suddenly pierced through Khadgar's mount's wing. As he tripped over the uneven-winged beast, he fell on the ground painfully. He was attacked by a small band of orcs, the first true ones he had ever seen. Khadgar killed some and tried to scare off the rest until the warlock Nothgrin showed up. As he came to assist his soldiers in fighting Khadgar, he challenged the latter to a magic duel.
Then came Khadgar's savior, Medivh, burning away the remaining orcs and killing Nothgrin just as he was about to reveal that he recognized Medivh. Nothgrin's last words were "Nothgrin knows you, human. You are the one…" before he was swept upward by Medivh's magic and burned.

Turok; Warlord of the Deadmine Ogres -Mentioned
turokandgriselda2copy.png

Was the leader of a rogue band of ogres who were denied entrance into the Horde by Blackhand the Destroyer. Blackhand's own daughter, Griselda, saw folly in his decision to reject them, and she fled, taking refuge with Turok's band of ogres beneath the Deadmines. Blackhand was enraged by her betrayal and sent a group into the Deadmines to track them down. On Blackhand's command, the ogres were wiped out and Griselda was killed. It is highly probable that Turok was also killed.

Griselda; Daughter of Blackhand and Lover to Turok -Mentioned
turokandgriselda2copyco.png

Was the wretched orc mistress of Turok and also the daughter of Blackhand the Destroyer. Blackhand forbade her to drink the blood of Mannoroth as a punishment for her "insolent" ways (or because she was female, it is not clear which). It is not clear when, but she soon started an affair with Turok in defiance. Blackhand was not pleased.
She fled with Turok into the Deadmines to plot with her new ally, disobeying her father's commands, and thus committing treason against the Horde. One of Blackhand's forces was mercilessly sent into the Deadmines in search of Griselda.
The rogue ogres of Turok were a tough match for the fearsome orc warriors, but eventually the war party reached the ruined guardhouse of Griselda and Turok who were with their personal ogre guard. In that final conflict, Turok was cut down and Griselda followed suit in her attempt to flee.
Thus, the Deadmines was cleansed of the ogre threat that had once even brought about the capture of Anduin Lothar. Blackhand had ordered the death of his daughter, and his wish had become reality.

Garona; The Half-Orc Assassin -Mentioned and has a cameo appearance
garonahalforcen1.png

The birth of Garona was orchestrated by Gul'dan, who "bred" one of his orcish warriors to a draenei female. The result was a child that, as it would be discovered later, looked surprisingly human. Gul'dan had her magically aged and tortured, later also placing controls on her mind to ensure obedience. Garona would be raised in barracks with her father's people, hated by the bigger orcs for being different. Their judgements of her being "ugly and deformed" would become her own for years to come. The draenei female's brother however, the Vindicator Maraad, would not care that Garona was half orc. Having learned that his sister had borne a child, he began to search for his niece that would stretch on for many years.
Having travelled throughout Draenor, Garona was well-versed in the culture of the orcs, making her an invaluable asset to the Shadow Council. She was inducted into the warlock-controlled Stormreaver clan. She quickly became the chief interpreter of the Shadow Council and Gul'dan's personal spy and assassin. However, Garona belonged to no clan, and had no clan allegiance.[7] Due to her mixed blood, she was eternally an outcast and had to rely upon her wits to keep her alive in a harsh world. Upon arriving in Azeroth, Garona's experience lent a great deal to her insight with their newest foe — the humans.

Rakmar Sharpfang; Death Knight/Necrolyte
rakmarsharpfang.png

Was a necrolyte under the command of the warlock Gul'dan during the Second War. He was the unofficial leader of the group of necromancers. When Gul'dan submited to Orgrim Doomhammer he promised him command of a powerful set of allies of his creation to use against the Alliance of Lordaeron. When Rakmar repeatedly failed Gul'dan to produce such a creature, the old warlock came up with another way for Rakmar to serve. Rakmar was the first of the necrolytes slaughtered for the sake of using their energies to create the Death Knights.

TIDES OF DARKNESS
Orgrim Doomhammer; Warchief of the Horde
orgrimdoomhammer1copy2.png

Orgrim Doomhammer, also known as the Backstabber by loyalists of Gul'dan and Blackhand, was the Warchief of the Orcish Horde during the end of the First War and the entirety of the Second War.
Orgrim started his rise to power through the Thunderlord Clan, being a member of that clan too. Blackrock Clan had strong connections to the Thunderlord Clan, though, and for this reason Orgrim was able to rise to power in both. Upon the death of his father, Orgrim became wielder of the Doomhammer and second-in-command to Blackhand.

Gul'dan; The Stormreaver Chieftain and Master of the Shadow Council
dan1a.png

Warlock of the Inner Circle and Destroyer of Dreams - is the true mastermind behind not only the inner workings of the Horde, but those of the secretive Shadow Council as well. Trained in the arts arcane by the Daemon Kil'jaeden, Gul'dan is perhaps the most powerful Warlock ever to walk the temporal plane.
Obsessed with discovering the legendary Tomb of Sargeras, he hopes to obtain ultimate power by deciphering the secrets ascribed by the Daemonlord since times long forgotten. Gul'dan has used his magiks to bring into bring a host of servants for the Horde. Necrolytes, Ogre-Magi, and the dread Death Knights are all results of his endless experiments with the forces of magic.
Although his spawn of his work have strengthened the Horde, the true loyalties of Gul'dan lie only with himself and his quest to become omnipotent.

Cho'gall; Ogre Mage/Chieftain of the Twilight Hammer's Clan
gall1.png

Is a two-headed ogre - alongside Blackheart, one of the first seen in many generations - and was trained in the arts of the arcane by the warlock Gul'dan, who aided the struggling ogre in mastering the powers of the Twisting Nether. In time, Cho'gall became one of the most feared and venerated members of the Old Horde during the First and Second Wars against the humans.
Cho'gall became the Chieftain of an orc clan after the previous one was executed for disobeying the Shadow Council. Cho'gall renamed the clan as the Twilight's Hammer, while all records of both the clan's old name and the chieftain's one were destroyed.
Though Cho'gall was extremely powerful, he was also dangerously insane. The clan, less of a tribe and more of a religious cult, was devoted to bringing about the apocalypse. In his capacity as a chieftain and as the right hand of Gul'dan, Cho'gall aided his master in the creation of the death knights and the Altars of Storms, and in the transformation of normal ogres into ogre magi.

Zul'jin; Forest Troll Leader, Leader of the Tribes
jin1acopy.png

Is a warlord of the Amani forest trolls and has been chieftain of the Amani tribe since before the Second War. Zul'jin and the Amani tribe were allied with the orcish Horde for the duration of the Second War, but Zul'jin himself was captured near its end by the Alliance.
Upon gaining his freedom he went into hiding to rebuild his army and plan an attack on the remnants of the high elves, now known as blood elves, only to find them allied with the Horde.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Zuluhed the Whacked; Orc Shaman of the Dragonmaw
orc2b.png

Zuluhed was apparently the last, and only shaman to accompany the Horde. He was eternally loyal to Blackhand during his reign as Warchief, and wished to remain so even after his death, so he pledged the allegiance of the small but powerful Dragonmaw Clan to Rend and Maim, the sons of Blackhand: an alliance assumed to be broken when Rend pledged the Black Tooth Grin clan to Nefarian's black dragonflight, most feared enemy of the Dragonmaw.
During the Second War, Zuluhed received a vision of a powerful artifact hidden within the Redridge Mountains, and requested permission from Orgrim Doomhammer to locate it.
Despite Zuluhed's apparent loyalty to the sons of Blackhand — his chief rivals — Doomhammer believed that the elder shaman acted in the Horde's best interests, and agreed to allow Zuluhed and his clan to find the artifact in question. Following the source of his visions, Zuluhed came into possession of what he called the Demon Soul.
He assured Doomhammer that he would be able to unlock its powers, but this proved difficult even with the still-formidable powers of the elder shaman. Zuluhed decided to give the artifact to his Second, Nekros Skullcrusher, a former warlock, and with its power managed to capture the dragonqueen, Alexstrasza, and subjugate her red dragonflight. Alexstrasza, threatened with the death of her children, unwillingly gave the Horde an endless supply of her deadly progeny.

Tagar Spinebreaker; Bonechewer Chieftian
tagar1.png

He rose to power shortly before the invasion of Draenor, after Grom Hellscream killed the former chieftain, Hurkan Skullsplinter for the Skull of Gul'dan. Whether he was next in line for the chieftainship or simply took the opportunity to step up is unknown.
Tagar garbs himself in the innards of his enemies; that which he does not devour himself. His belt was fashioned from orc spines and bracers carved from the spine segments of an ogre. Tagar is ruthless and bloodthirsty, craving only the heat of battle above all else. The Bonechewers stayed in Draenor during the First Crossing, but when the Second Crossing was imminent, the Bonechewers were brought into line and used against the Alliance. Tagar Spinebreaker personally accompanied Fenris the Hunter to the Tomb of Sargeras where they claimed the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras for Ner'zhul.

Grandmaster Vorpil; Great Warlock of the Shadow Council
vorpil.png

Near the end of the war against the draenei, Gul'dan dispatched Vorpil alongside Blackheart the Inciter to investigate Auchindoun. After surviving the explosion that destroyed most of Auchindoun, they remained there for many years.
In time, Ner'zhul, Teron Gorefiend and Kilrogg Deadeye fled to Auchindoun to take shelter from the pursuing Alliance armies. They had been unaware of the presence of other orcs here, but Vorpil and Blackheart welcomed them. When presented with news of the betrayal of Gul'dan, Vorpil pledged himself to Ner'zhul. When Danath broke into Auchindoun to rescue Kurdran, Vorpil and Blackheart fought to stop them, but were beset by ghosts of dead draenei. In the confusion, Danath slew Kilrogg Deadeye in single combat. Ner'zhul and Gorefiend teleported themselves to the Black Temple, and Vorpil and Blackheart fled back into the Shadow Labyrinth.

Kilrogg Deadeye; Chieftain of the Bleedinghollow
kilroggdeadeye2.png

As an older chieftan, Kilrogg Deadeye had become more unwilling to throw lives away in combat. In orcish politics older orcs become more pragmatic, which is often mistaken for cowardice by the younger generation. Prior to the sacking of Stormwind, Kilrogg had killed three of his sons and two grandsons already who thought they could rule the clan better.
At the start of the First War, the Bleeding Hollow clan participated in the first attack on Stormwind Keep, along with the Twilight's Hammer clan, led by Cho'gall. This first attack was an unmitigated disaster for the orcs, and Deadeye and Cho'gall blamed the failure on each other. A rift soon grew that threatened to rip the Horde apart before it had even begun its conquest of Azeroth. Gul'dan quickly stepped in to quell the problem, reinstalling Blackhand as Warchief of the Horde.
Second War
Kilrogg fought under Blackhand, and then later under Orgrim Doomhammer. During the Second War, his clan was stationed throughout Khaz Modan, where it controlled the Horde's vital mining and oil refining operations. When Orgrim Doomhammer was forced to withdraw back into Khaz Modan, after sending a large part of the Horde away to kill the treacherous Gul'dan and regain the lost honor of the orcs, Deadeye was one of the few that agreed with his decision.
At the end of the war with the destruction of the Dark Portal and the defeat of the orcs; the aging Kilrogg refused to surrender, even after Doomhammer was captured. Kilrogg escaped and managed to avoid capture of his clan by the Alliance forces.
Kilrogg managed to evade the Alliance for two years. He, like most of the remaining orc leaders, was summoned to the site of the Dark Portal to discover that Teron Gorefiend had reopened the portal and that the Horde had united under Ner'zhul's leadership.
Kilrogg's knowledge of affairs in Azeroth enabled Ner'zhul and Gorefiend to successfully plan their next move. After recounting the events of the Second War to the old shaman, Kilrogg, along with his old comrades Grom Hellscream and Kargath Bladefist, led the charge back into Azeroth to steal items of power needed to aid Ner'zhul in his scheme.
On the way from Hellfire Citadel to the Black Temple to begin the ritual, Ner'zhul — accompanied by Kilrogg and Teron Gorefiend — made a stop in the ruined draenei necropolis of Auchindoun, a prospect that frightened the usually-fearless chieftain, believing that it would doom them if they went there.[11] However, he eventually gave in, accepting that it was necessary to rest there for a time on their way to Shadowmoon Valley.[12] It was there, in the depths of the Shadow Labyrinth — slowing the Alliance forces enough for Ner'zhul to make his escape — that Kilrogg met his end. In a duel with Alliance force commander Danath Trollbane (honorable, to the latter's surprise), the human threw his blade at Kilrogg's throat, taking advantage of the chieftain's half-blindedness. Kilrogg's throat was slashed open, but he managed to declare that by his blood the Horde would live and that he was returning to his ancestors. His eyes glazed over, and he toppled sideways landing heavily on the floor.[1]

Tharbek; Second to the Horde Leader Orgrim Doomhammer
orc1b.png

Was born a fierce orc warrior and soon he became Orgrim Doomhammer's second. He foreseen the duties of the clans and made sure the troops were cared for and his loyalty was sometimes questioned, but Orgrim Doomhammer kept him as his second. He soon reported that the Alterac Passes were no longer accessible to their troops and were on the verge to be forced to travel back to the Blackrock Spire.
Having a chance, Tharbek thought Gul'dan would return from his voyage, but the old orc was not coming and the Horde had to fight back to their controlled territory.
He probably soon meant his fate at Blackrock Spire when the Alliance finally after countless wars, put a stop to the amassing Horde, and Tharbek's whereabouts is unknown if he ever survived or not.

Krul'tan and Ter'lij; Royalists to Zul'jin
foresttroll1.png

They were members of the Amani tribe of forest trolls under the command of Zul'jin prior to the Second War. He was the first forest troll to make contact with the orcs, and spoke briefly with Orgrim Doomhammer before his leader arrived. Ter'lij was a lieutenant of Zul'jin as well and soon he was caught in an ambush and killed by Halduron Brightwing during the invasion of Quel'thalas in the Second War.

Drak'thul; Former Member of the Stormreavers
orcwarlock2.png

Was a warlock in Gul'dan's Stormreaver clan. This weathered orc wears a tattered wolf pelt and a pair of tarnished bracers sprouting wolf hair. The wolf’s head falls over his face, obscuring his eyes, but his long gray hair spills, greasy, down his shoulders. He moves with arthritic care. Drak’thul didn’t survive to become one of the last Stormreavers by being stupid. He is a canny combatant, staying back when he needs to stay back and striking preemptively when the situation warrants. He prefers ranged attacks, like shadow bolt, to eliminate his opponents early; if forced into melee, he uses spells like demon skin and mirror image to improve his chances. He avoids using his battle rage ability, as it clouds his mind and prevents him from fleeing if he is outmatched.

Nekros Skullcrusher; Dragonmaw Clan Overseer and Jailer of the Dragonqueen
necrosskullcrusher.png

Was the second to Zuluhed the Whacked, chieftain of the Dragonmaw clan, and was entrusted as both warden of the dragonqueen Alexstrasza and wielder of the Demon Soul that held her prisoner.
One of the few orcish warlocks who were not part of the Shadow Council, Nekros never cared for his dark, magical calling. He fled from the warlock ranks, returning to his warrior ways. But his duty to his clan, and himself, demanded that he saddle his burden, especially after a human knight deprived him of half a leg.
Nekros was commissioned by Zuluhed to hold the Demon Soul, which he would use to capture and contain the mighty dragonqueen. They did just that, and Nekros became her warden in Grim Batol, using the Demon Soul to inflict unimaginable pain on her whenever she did not cooperate. When she tried to starve herself, he shattered an egg before her which forced her to return to cooperation with the orc.
Nekros continually abused her, both mentally and physically, especially after the Second War, when she became the only real weapon the Old Horde had against the Alliance. Tyranastrasz, whom Nekros thought to have been her last living consort, was also being held captive with her, but was slowly dying after he contracted a fatal ailment while imprisoned by the Orcs. Nekros knew he would soon have no further means of producing more red dragon eggs to aid the Horde's fight against the Alliance.
Nekros was tricked by Deathwing into moving Alexstrasza into the open. Deathwing's own plan was to steal the red dragonflight eggs in the confusion. Alexstrasza was freed by her consort Korialstrasz, and the first thing she did was dispose of Nekros, eating him alive.
His son Nek'rosh survived the massacre.

Torgus; Dragonmaw Clan Dragon Rider
dragonmawclan1.png

Was a well-known dragonrider of the Dragonmaw clan during and after the Second War. He managed to get word of Gul'dan's betrayal back to his chieftan, Zuluhed the Whacked, and the rest of the Horde. After the war, he was assigned to Grim Batol, under Nekros Skullcrusher, where the clan was keeping a large portion of the red dragonflight enslaved. During one particular mission, he and his draconic mount encountered the black Dragon Aspect, Deathwing. Deathwing attacked Torgus and his fellow dragonriders, and Torgus narrowly managed to escape back to Grim Batol to warn his clan of the coming danger. Torgus' fate afterwards is unknown.

BEYOND THE DARK PORTAL
Ner'zhul; Warchief of the Horde of Draenor
zhul2copy.png

The Elder Shaman Ner'zhul was the Warchief of Draenor, the clans that remained uncaptured after the Dark Portal was destroyed in Azeroth. He was tricked into making a Blood Pact with Kil'jaeden the Deceiver; one that bound the orcs into the service of the Burning Legion. Following the Second War, he opened several portals on Draenor in an attempt to seek out new lands to escape to and conquer.
He finally meant his end at the Twisting Nether by Kil'jaeden and the mighty demon lord kept his spirit alive and tortured it to the cosmos.

Grommash Hellscream; Chieftain of the Warsong Clan
grommashhellscream2.png

"Grommash" means "The Giant's Heart" in orcish.
One of the orc chieftains of legend. Prior to the creation of the Dark Portal, Grom Hellscream was the uncontested leader of the Warsong clan, marked by his slim build and black-tattooed lower jaw. Suspicions floated away the previous chieftain's death, giving rise to the notion that Grom usurped the position, rather than gain it though heredity like Durotan. Though he was stubborn, he was the first to give heed to the prospect of war when Ner'zhul warned the other clans of a "new old enemy", the draenei.
He invaded Shattrath City against the draenei; he was described as being a tattooed, fiery-eyed massive orc carrying a wicked two-handed axe, with raven-hued hair, and his lower jaw had been colored as black as pitch. He fought against Nobundo and succeeded in taking the city.
His clan was spared the defeats of the Second Great War, Gul'dan having manipulated Grom into staying behind on Draenor. The Horde was defeated by the Alliance of Lordaeron with Grom and his clan never having faced the humans in battle.
He was used with effectiveness by Ner'zhul in the aftermath of the second war. His forces, combined with that of the Bleeding Hollow clan led by Kilrogg Deadeye, were used in strategic hit-and-run raids designed to retrieve some of Azeroth's most powerful magical artifacts.

Teron Gorefiend; Supreme Death Knight of the Horde of Draenor
deathknight1.png

Gorefiend, Gaz Soulripper, and the other death knights swore allegiance to Doomhammer and fought for the Horde where their powerful energies aided in many battles. When Gul'dan betrayed the Horde, Gorefiend remained in the service of the Warchief until he was defeated.
Leading the death knights beyond the Dark Portal before its destruction, Gorefiend remained on Draenor until Ner'zhul, Gul'dan's former master, came to the forefront and united the remaining clans into the Horde of Draenor. Ner'zhul intended to open new dimensional gateways to other worlds, but needed powerful items to stabilize them. To that end, Ner'zhul sent Gorefiend through a reconstructed Dark Portal to claim two powerful artifacts required for his spell: The Book of Medivh and the Eye of Dalaran.

Deathwing; Master of Black Dragonflight
deathwing1c.png

The black aspect involved himself in the Second War, adopting the form of Lord Daval Prestor, in order to destroy the Alliance from within. He also managed to turn his greatest enemy, Alexstrasza, into a slave of the Horde, with whom he later allied himself.
After suffering a series of defeats culminating with his being chased off by the other Aspects, Deathwing retreated to the elemental plane Deepholm to recuperate. From Deepholm, Deathwing observed his former mate Sintharia's experiments with the twilight dragonflight in Grim Batol. Deathwing now continues his late consort's work.

Kargath Bladefist; Chieftain of the Shattered Hand Clan
kargathbladefist1b.png

Kargath was one of the original members of the Shadow Council, and the only non-warlock to reach the Inner Circle.
When the first wave of clans went through to Azeroth, Bladefist begrudgingly stayed behind in Draenor, under the uneasy rule of Ner'zhul the Shaman, who only remained in power through his numbers – and the always-looming threat of the Ogre-Mage Dentarg. When the Bleeding Hollow Clan returned to Draenor many years later, Bladefist immediately volunteered to send his clan through to Azeroth, hoping to gloriously slaughter the humans to avenge his fallen or captured brothers and sisters.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Rexxar; Mok'Nathal Beastmaster
rexxarleaderoftheogres.png

Rexxar was one of the few orcish warriors who had been formed from a union between orcs and ogres. Rexxar was originally part of the pacifist Mok'Nathal clan, based on Draenor in the Blade's Edge Mountains, under the watchful guard of his father, Leoroxx. But their pacifist ways gave him no reason to stay, and despite his father's wishes, he joined the Horde and left through the Dark Portal. The beastmaster was accompanied by a large black wolf, Haratha, his loyal companion.

Obris; Shadowmoon Royalist to Ner'zhul
orc3acopy.png

Was one of Ner'zhul's higher ranking of officers. He served and helped unite the clans once again to fight the Alliance. His faith in Ner'zhul's role as savior of the Horde seemed to have been rather high, as he stood by and helped open the portals to new worlds. It was Ner'zhul's promise that the orcs would be saved, through the opening of such gateways to richer realms to conquer. Yet, Obris was to behold the breaking of Ner'zhul's nobility. The old orc said that the rest of the Horde be damned, and that all that mattered was his own survival. Obris protested, but was mowed down by his master's magic, and left for dead.
Yet, Obris survived for a while yet. Khadgar was left despairing, seeing that Ner'zhul had completed his scheme. Still, in a final act of vengeance, Obris handed over the Book of Medivh, which he had been entrusted with, to Khadgar. Glad to have defied the great traitor, Ner'zhul, Obris accepted the peace of death.

Sabellian; Black Dragonflight Overseer
blackdragon1d.png

Is a black dragon, son of the black Dragon Aspect, Deathwing. He was one of his lieutenants prior to the black Aspect's abandonment of Draenor. During the black dragonflight's alliance with Ner'zhul's Horde, Sabellian and his brethren transported the orc chieftans Fenris Wolfbrother, Tagar Spinebreaker, and a small party of orcs to Menethil Harbor, on their way to retrieve the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras. Once the artifacts were secured he followed Deathwing to the orc's homeworld of Draenor.
Once on Draenor, the black dragons settled into the Blade's Edge Mountains. They were not there long before they were attacked by Gruul, his offspring, and a small group of Alliance Expedition fighters. The eggs were destroyed and Deathwing was forced to flee from battle, followed immediately by Sabellian.

Nefarian;Son of the Black Aspect Deathwing
blackdragon1a.png

The black dragonflight was among the greatest threats to mortal life the world has ever known. Led by the fallen Aspect, Deathwing, the black dragons ravaged and subverted the kingdoms of humanity and elves for generations. Yet, during the Battle of Grim Batol (nearly fifteen years ago), Deathwing was defeated by his fellow Aspects — though he managed to escape complete destruction at their hands. Whether he was eventually captured by the other Aspects or is merely hiding in seclusion, it is clear he has no direct control over his diabolical flight.

Onyxia; Daughter of the Black Aspect Deathwing
blackdragon1e.png

Clever, highly intelligent dragon, Onyxia delights in corrupting the mortal races by meddling in their political affairs. To this end, she takes on various humanoid forms and uses her charm and power to influence delicate matters between the different races. Onyxia has even assumed an alias once used by her father: the title of the royal House Prestor.
Though Onyxia is relatively small for a black dragon of her age, she shares the same powers and abilities as the rest of her terrible flight. Her searing breath weapon can melt both stone and iron. Her physical attacks, whether bites, scrapes or tail lashes, are lightning quick and nearly unstoppable. When cornered, Onyxia is fond of taking flight and blasting her troublesome prey from above.
Her main lair is located in a fiery cave below the Dragonmurk. She is guarded there by her kin, the remaining members of the insidious black dragonflight. There also her brood of new eggs is hidden, awaiting maturation. Should anyone ever threaten Onyxia within her lair — within distance of her precious eggs — her wrath would be terrible beyond comprehension.

Greatmother Geyah; Great Mother of Nagrand
greatmothergeyah.png

In the early days of the Horde, a virulent plague known as the Red Pox spread throughout the clans. Geyah, rather than abandon the afflicted, established a quarantined settlement in the region of Nagrand, hoping to care for the victims while limiting exposure. Among Geyah's patients were the children of several chieftains, including Garrosh Hellscream and Jorin Deadeye. As the clans gave the settlement a wide berth, the orcs therein were not forced into joining the Horde or the Blood Pact with Mannoroth. From afar, Geyah watched in disgust as the brown skin of the Horde turned a sickly green and once-verdant lands died. However, Geyah and those in the village, sickened though they were, remained mag'har, uncorrupted.
Shortly before Draenor's destruction, Geyah was visited by Kargath Bladefist, who had stumbled upon the village by accident and demanded that every able-bodied warrior come to his aid in assisting Ner'zhul's nefarious plans. Geyah, naturally, refused to aid her corrupted brethren, not that she could have anyway, as most of the village was still suffering from the Red Pox

Ragnok Bloodreaver; Horde of Draenor Death Knight
shadowwingcopy2.png

Ragnok was an orcish warlock of the Shadow Council when the new warchief, Orgrim Doomhammer, came upon them in a surprise attack and slew nearly every last member, including him. Shortly after, Ragnok's former master, Gul'dan, brought the Orc back and placed his spirit, along with those of his fellow council members, in the decaying bodies of knights of Azeroth. Thus the Death Knights were born.
Ultimately, the Horde was defeated and the Portal destroyed. Ragnok found himself trapped on Draenor along with Teron Gorefiend and Gaz Soulripper. Teron, accompanied by the other Death Knights, convinced Ner'zhul to reopen the portal.
Ragnok was assigned to accompany Tagar Spinebreaker and Fenris Wolfbrother on their quest to retrieve the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras. They overcame the Kul Tiras navy with the help of black dragons, and arrived at the Broken Isles with ships stolen from Menethil Harbor.
Once inside the Tomb of Sargeras, Ragnok's magic guided the way towards the scepter. They found the scepter, but it was in the hands of a demon, one of the tomb's guardians. The demon was slain in battle, and the scepter recovered. When Fenris commanded the company to leave, Ragnok lashed out angrily. He had sensed the Eye of Sargeras nearby, and said that it would be foolish to abandon the chance to claim an artifact of such great power; an artifact that Gul'dan had come to claim himself. Yet, Fenris was adamant. Ragnok threatened him with death, but did not avert Fenris' choice, and resigned himself to his duty. With the Scepter of Sargeras, Ragnok, Fenris and Tagar returned to Ner'zhul to continue their duty to the Horde on the front lines.

Fenris Wolfbrother; Chieftain of the Thunderlord Clan
orc2.png

Was chieftain of the Thunderlord clan, and leader of the few remaining wolfriders in Draenor.
The Blackrock clan had once been very closely tied to the Thunderlords, and Orgrim Doomhammer had risen to power through that clan. When Ner'zhul chose to reforge the Horde after Doomhammer's defeat on Azeroth, Fenris pledged his Thunderlords to the cause.
Fenris accompanied Tagar Spinebreaker on a swift mission to the Tomb of Sargeras, where they slew a demon and claimed the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras. Fenris gave the scepter to Ner'zhul and fell back into line fighting for the reforged Horde.

Gaz Soulripper; Horde of Draenor Death Knight
gazsoulripper.png

Gaz Soulripper was an orcish warlock of the Shadow Council when the new warchief, Orgrim Doomhammer, came upon them in a surprise attack and slew nearly every last member, including Gaz. Shortly after, Gaz's former master, Gul'dan, brought the Orc back and placed his spirit, along with those of his fellow council members, in the decaying bodies of knights of Azeroth. Thus the Death Knights were born.
Ultimately, the Horde was defeated and the Portal destroyed. Gaz found himself trapped on Draenor along with Teron Gorefiend and Ragnok. Teron, accompanied by Gaz and the other Death Knights, convinced Ner'zhul to reopen the portal. When the assault was made Gaz Soulripper was placed in charge of matters on the Azerothian side of the Dark Portal's reconstruction.
Gaz was later captured and brought before Turalyon and Khadgar at Nethergarde, where he was interrogated about the Horde's new invasion. When he tried to strangle Khadgar, Turalyon burned the Death Knight to ashes using the Holy Light.

Hurkan Skullsplinter; Bonechewer Chieftain
orc1c.png

Was the Chieftain of the Bonechewer clan before the invasion of Draenor. He was a massive warrior, as large as Orgrim Doomhammer. He was prone to madness and bloodlust, but was a cunning and wily warrior when he was actually thinking. At one point, he gained possession of the Skull of Gul'dan, which he took from one of his warriors whom he killed, who in turn had taken it from one of Gul'dan's warlocks, who the warrior killed for the skull, though there may have been others inbetween. Hurkan himself was killed for the skull by Grom Hellscream, who had been sent to retrieve it by Ner'zhul. Immediately after Hurkan's death, Grom asked for his replacement so he could demand a renewed pledge of loyalty to the Horde. Grom's call was answered by Tagar Spinebreaker.

Mogor; Laughing Skull Chieftain and Ogre Mage
mogortheogremage.png

Before Ner'zhul rebuilt the Dark Portal to Azeroth and sent his Horde through to gather the artifacts required for his grand scheme, he required the knowledge held by an order of Death Knights to complete his preparations. This group of Death Knights, though bearing the colors of the Shattered Hand Clan, was currently under the control of Mogor, the renegade ogre-mage of the Laughing Skull clan, who was using them for some dark purpose of his own.
Ner'zhul sent his forces against the Laughing Skull to subjugate the death knights and kill Mogor for his rebelliousness. With the help of Grom Hellscream, who was freed from captivity at the hands of the Laughing Skull clan, Ner'zhul's attack succeeded in destroying the death knights.
Though he was defeated he survived, when the Alliance Expedition invaded Draenor, Mogor sided with them in exchange for the dominance of his clan in the Blade's Edge Mountains. He promised to deliver to them the Book of Medivh.
Mogor was uncharacteristically true to his word, and even managed to escape the wrath of the shaman Ner’zhul.

Leoroxx; Father of Rexxar and Leader of the Mok'nathal -Mentoned

Leoroxx is located at Mok'Nathal Village in Blade's Edge Mountains.
Believed to be the current leader of the Mok'Nathal clan, Leoroxx is the father of Rexxar, Champion of the Horde. The Mok'Nathal are very pacifistic, but Rexxar — against the wishes of his father — joined the Horde believing that there was nothing left for him among his people. For his actions, Leoroxx disowned him, and for thirty years his mind has remained stubbornly set against his son, even after Rexxar returned to Draenor — now Outland — to search for what remained of his people. Leoroxx has a companion lynx named Tethik.

Blackheart; Ogre Mage of Draenor
ogre1b.png

Alongside Cho'gall, Blackheart the Inciter was one of the few two-headed ogres within the Shadow Council. He was dispatched alongside Vorpil to investigate Auchindoun, and remained there for many years. Till this day they remain there, tampering with cosmic forces such as Murmur. Their followers form what is known as the Cabal.

Garrosh Hellscream; Son of Grommash Hellscream
garroshhellscream1.png

Garrosh is the son of Grom Hellscream, and was born on Draenor and during the human invasion of Draenor, many Mag'har - the uncorrupted orcs who settled in Garadar, a stronghold in Nagrand - were ill due to the red pox. Garrosh was among them.
Kargath Bladefist visited them at Garadar in search of warriors to aid him. Garrosh asked him about his father, and wanted to fight with him, but Kargath ignored him at first, calling the Mag'har weaklings and not orcs any more, and they could do the Horde a favor by dying. Later on Garrosh asked Greatmother Geyah about his father, but the answer caused him to enter a deep depression.

ORCS & HUMANS
Medivh; The Last Guardian
medivh2.png

Magus or Magna Medivh was the last Guardian of Tirisfal, an ancient line of protectors bestowed with great powers to do battle with the agents of the Burning Legion.
He was corrupted even before birth, and possessed by the spirit of the demonlord Sargeras who used Medivh in his plan to conquer Azeroth.
Medivh contacted the orcish warlock, Gul'dan, and together they opened the Dark Portal, which allowed the Burning Legion to begin its destruction of Azeroth. He was slain shortly after by a party led by one of his friends, Lothar.

Nielas Aran; Father of Medivh and Court Conjurer of Stormwind
sfather.png

Was the court conjurer of Stormwind, an archmage of Kirin Tor, advisor to the throne, acolyte of the Order of Tirisfal, and father and teacher of the sorcerer Medivh. Of all the mages, wizards, conjurers, and sorcerers, he had the most potential to protect and strengthen Medivh.
Aegwynn planned to give birth to a son whom she would divest her power to. She had no intention of allowing the Order of Tirisfal to manipulate her successor as they had tried to manipulate her. Traveling to the southern nation of Azeroth, Aegwynn found the perfect man to father her son: a skilled human magician known as Nielas Aran.
Aegwynn thought he would be the perfect mortal father to her son, and so he was. By the time Aegwynn met him, Aran was the court conjurer and advisor for Azeroth's king. Aegwynn seduced the magician and conceived a son by him. Nielas's natural affinity for magic would run deep within the unborn child and define the tragic steps the child would later take. The power of Tirisfal was also implanted in the child, yet it wasn't to awaken until he reached physical maturity.Nielas Aran killed from the blacklash of both Sargeras's and the Guardian's power awakening within Medivh in World of Warcraft comic.
Aegwynn left the baby Medivh in the care of his father and his people at Stormwind Keep. On the eve of Medivh's Age of Ascension, Medivh awoke to fevered dreams, and sought his father. Upon merely touching the boy, a backlash of energies poured from the child, and only the combined powers of a hundred clerics and the Conjurer himself were able to properly contain him. Medivh and Nielas were locked in a magical trance for hours or possibly days, before, finally, they both collapsed. Nielas was dead, drained of all life, and Medivh was in a deep sleep. Medivh was taken to Northshire to be tended by the Clerics.

Alonsus Faol; Arch Bishop of Northshire
alonsusfaol.png

Alonsus Faol was the head of the Holy Order of Northshire Clerics prior to the First War between the humans and orcs.
Following the terrible attrition suffered by his clerics in that conflict and the destruction of Northshire Abbey, the aged Faol fled with the surviving citizens of Stormwind to Lordaeron.
Aided by his apprentice, Uther Lightbringer, Faol refounded the Order as the Knights of the Silver Hand, this time equipping the followers of the Holy Light in the armaments of war. Alonsus Chapel, in Stratholme, was the site where he anointed Uther as the first of the paladins.

Varian Wrynn; Prince of Stormwind and Future Ruler of Stormwind
varianwrynn.png

Varian Wrynn was born to King Llane Wrynn in the Kingdom of Azeroth and as a youth lived a joyful and prosperous life as prince of Stormwind. But all that changed when the orcs appeared from beyond the Dark Portal and attempted to destroy his homeland, thus ushering in the First War between his beloved Kingdom of Azeroth and the Horde.
Anduin Lothar, the Champion of Stormwind, rallied his countrymen and armies and gutted out a desperate attempt to hold the Horde at bay and to keep them away from King Llane, Varian, and Stormwind. While Lothar enjoyed some small success in holding back the Horde, his efforts were dashed when Garona Halforcen, who had become an ally to Stormwind, betrayed King Llane under orders from the Shadow Council and cut his heart out, giving it to Gul'dan. Varian could only watch helplessly as his father was murdered and the Horde overran his kingdom, burning its homes and slaughtering all who stood in their way.[7] The death of his father affected him greatly, his later closest friend Arthas Menethil recalls him looking weary and ragged when he first sees him, and says that he'd "lost absolutely everything but his life." [8]
Anduin Lothar, convinced that Stormwind could not be retaken, gathered Varian and all who remained in the city and led an escape from their homeland. Narrowly escaping by boat into the sea, they headed North while Lothar gathered his thoughts aboard his ship. Consulting with Varian and the Kirin Tor mage Khadgar, they determined that in order to preserve humanity from annihilation by the Horde they would need to warn King Terenas, ruler of Lordaeron, of the danger that loomed on the horizon.
After landing at the port of Southshore Lothar gathered Prince Varian along with Khadgar and several knights and marched towards Lordaeron. Upon arriving young Varian was greeted by King Terenas, who treated him as an equal king despite Varian's young age. King Terenas quickly offered him his pledge to stand by him until his homeland was retaken and invited him to stay with him for as long as he was willing. Although at first Varian was slightly shy being in a Kingdom he had never seen before, he quickly overcame his timidity and Varian found King Terenas' son Arthas Menethil, who was just a few years younger than he, as a great new friend and the two quickly formed a close friendship. Shortly after he began staying in Lordaeron, King Terenas formed the Alliance of Lordaeron. Under the command of Anduin Lothar, its supreme commander, this alliance was finally able to put an end to the Horde reign during the Second War. However, the victory came at a great price as Anduin Lothar was killed shortly before the war ended and would not live to see the retaking of his Kingdom of Stormwind.

King Llane Wrynn; King of Stormwind -Mentioned

Llane Wrynn I was the ruler of the Kingdom of Azeroth during the First War. He was the child of King Adamant Wrynn III and Lady Varia, and the father of King Varian Wrynn. He is also the grandfather of Prince Anduin Wrynn.
Llane was born in the year 564 by the accounting of years formerly used in that kingdom. In 577, Llane reached to the Age of Ascension and was given the full title Prince of Azeroth. During the evening feast arranged to honor the young Prince, the great wizard Medivh, who had been absent from events of the world for years, interrupted, announcing his return to the world and giving an obsidian hourglass to Llane, symbolizing Azeroth's unending prosperity. The sands in the glass ran, but the top half never emptied into the lower half.
Six years later, Llane awoke in ordinary morning to find to his horror that the hourglass had almost completely emptied. As the last grain fell, an attack on Stormwind Keep by the orcs began. Although the orc attack was repulsed, this marked the beginning of the First War that would last for years. Llane was sent with his mother to Northshire Abbey away from potential danger by his father, who in turn began to lead the battle against the orcs.
The next year, his father, King Adamant Wrynn III died, and at the age of twenty, Llane was pronounced King of Azeroth and continued the battle against the orcs for ten relatively successful years, during which the invaders were held back to the Swamp of Sorrows.
Ten years later, Llane was visited by a mysterious stranger who revealed herself to be Aegwynn, the mother of Medivh. She revealed that Medivh was behind the arrival of the orcs into the kingdom, warning that Azeroth would eventually have to deal with him.
Following the rise of Blackhand as Warchief, the war turned badly against Stormwind. Sensing that the final confrontation was at hand, Llane prepared to rally the armies of Azeroth against the orcs. Garona Halforcen was a close friend of Llane, but also secretly an agent of the Horde. As the orcs besieged Stormwind itself, Garona (under mental control of the orc Shadow Council) sorrowfully assassinated the beloved king and took his heart to the head of the Council, the warlock Gul'dan. Garona knew from a vision she had seen in Karazhan that she was fated to kill one of the few men who accepted her for what she was, and thus it was King Llane's assassin who mourned him most of all.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Magna Aegwynn; Mother of Medivh and Guardian of Azeroth -Mentioned
smother.png

Matriarch of Tirisfal, was the penultimate second-to-last Guardian of Tirisfal and is recognized as one of the greatest Guardians. She is also the mother of the sorcerer Medivh.
The Order of Tirisfal was originally forged to protect the world from demonic corruption of magic (namely by the Burning Legion) — and these Guardians were given considerable power and longevity. The Order was kept as a secret amongst only the greatest magi. But over time, the Guardian became a puppet of the Order, and the focus was lost. When Aegwynn became the Guardian, however, she refused to be manipulated. She remained focused on the matter at hand — the demonic powers at play in Azeroth. The same hubris that led to the Guardian's diminishing caused their downfall.
Aegwynn served as the Guardian of Tirisfal for almost 500 years. Following the end of her reign, she would eventually serve as Jaina Proudmoore's chamberlain for a time near the end of her life. Aegwynn is recognized as one of the greatest sorcerers of all time.

Was part of the forces defending Stormwind City during the First War. King Llane commanded him as the city was under attack by orcs. He was the last whom King Llane issued an order to, shortly before getting assassinated by the Shadow Council spy, the half-orc Garona.

TIDES OF DARKNESS
Sir Anduin Lothar; Lion of Azeorth
anduinlothar.png

Sired and raised in the Kingdom of Azeroth, Anduin Lothar has spent well-nigh all of his fifty-seven years in service to the lands he calls home.
A proud and noble warrior, Lothar was accredited a position within the King's Honor Guard at a considerably early age.
After becoming a Knight and rising to the position of Armsman to the Brotherhood of the Horse, he undertook a quest to seek out the Tome of Divinity - a task which all but killed him.
Upon returning the sacred writing to the Clerics of Northshire, Sir Lothar led the armies of Azeroth into battle against the Orcish Horde.
As the Horde ultimately ravaged the Kingdom of Azeroth and killed its advocate, King Llane, Lothar rallied his countrymen and charted their retreat across the Great Sea - and onto the shores of Lordaeron.

Uther Lightbringer; First Paladin of Azeroth
utherthelightbringer1.png

Apprentice to the aged Archbishop Alonsus Faol who was the leader of the Holy Order of Northshire Clerics that guided the kingdom of Azeroth during the First War, Uther Lightbringer learned first hand that faith alone would not defeat the terrible Horde.
Many of the Clerics were slain during the First War, and so the Archbishop devoted himself to rebuilding the Order as to provide the citizens of Lordaeron with hope and faith.
Knowing that this war with the unholy Orcs could not end soon, Uther discerned that the Archbishop's new Order must be able to defend the people as well as heal them.
Thus, young Uther took up sword and shield and issued the call to the most pious amongst the Knights of Lordaeron.
Many great Knights heeded Uther's beckoning and joined the Order which became known as the Knights of the Silver Hand. With the strength of arms - and faith - possessed by these Paladins, Uther hopes to bear witness to the free people of the Northlands that the Orcish Horde can be cast back into the stygian pits that spawned them.

Tirion Fordring; Paladin of the Silverhand
tironfordring1a.png

As the governor of the Alliance principality of Hearthglen, Tirion lived a comfortable life, well-respected by his subjects and loved by his wife Karanda and son Taelan.
Both a great warrior and a just ruler, Tirion was renowned throughout the Kingdom of Lordaeron. In spite of his acclaimed military prowess, Tirion's experience as a paladin during the orcish invasions had taught him to value peace.
He soon became one of the first five Knights of the Silver Hand selected by Archbishop Alonsus Faol, and was one of the heroes of the Second War.
He later became Lord of Mardenholde Keep in Hearthglen before being stripped of his title and exiled for defending an orc, Eitrigg. Following the recent death of his son Taelan Fordring, Tirion committed himself to refounding the order of the Silver Hand. He now leads the Argent Crusade, an organization consisting of the old Knights of the Silver Hand and the Argent Dawn, against the Lich King and the Scourge. To this day he remains good friends with the orc veteran Eitrigg.

Terenas Menethil II; King of Lordaeron
terenasmenethilii.png

After the First War, refugees from the Kingdom of Azeroth arrived on the shores of Lordaeron, giving warnings of the orcs and the invasion that was to come.
Terenas called delegates from neighboring nations, and, after hearing the horror stories from Anduin Lothar and his people, they agreed to forge the Alliance of Lordaeron.
Terenas led the forces of Lordaeron in valiant battle against the onslaught of Horde. The Second War was taxing upon the Alliance and all in it. Terenas even commanded the battle "The Fall of Lordaeron" where his kingdom was almost destroyed by the Horde.
But in the end, their sacrifices were not in vain, and the Alliance won through, decimating the Horde and rounding up the surviving orcs into internment camps, headed by Aedelas Blackmoore. The orc Warchief Orgrim Doomhammer was kept as the personal prisoner of Terenas, but he eventually escaped captivity and fled into hiding.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Daelin Proudmoore; Sea King of Kul Tiras
bloodsailpirate1.png

Proudmoore led the island nation of Kul Tiras in the Second War, and it was Kul Tiras who funded much of the armada of the Alliance. After the First War, orcs began to attack coastal settlements in Kul Tiras and the surrounding shores of Lordaeron and Khaz Modan. And with his longtime friend Anduin Lothar at his side, Proudmoore wouldn’t back down from a fight.
Pronounced Lord of all the Alliance’s mighty fleets, Proudmoore led the naval assault on the orcs, destroying their forces on land, sea, and air, while managing the oil refineries in Stratholme, which provided the main node of resources for the navy. He lost his eldest son, Derek, and everyone on board the six ships of the Third Fleet when they were attacked by dragons

Muradin Bronzebeard; Explorers' Guild Founder
muradinbronzebeard1a.png

During the Second War, Muradin served as official liaison between Lordaeron and Khaz Modan, and accompanied the Alliance armies shortly before the battles at Blackrock Spire and the Dark Portal. During that time period he grew close to the Royal Family, and befriended the young Prince Arthas. As Arthas grew up, Muradin took it upon himself to teach the lad all he knew about fighting with blades and the two became close companions on many adventures.
Muradin was also one of the founding members of the dwarven Explorers' Guild, which was dedicated to exploration and archaeology across the world. In his travels, Muradin visited Northrend and became fascinated with the desolate continent. He returned to it often, observing its ferocious natives and sketching its ruined architecture.

Brann Bronzebeard; Explorers' Guild Founder
brann.png

Brann Bronzebeard is the youngest of the three Bronzebeard brothers, with King Magni Bronzebeard and Muradin Bronzebeard being his elders. Brann is an active member of the Explorers' League, following closely in the footsteps of his brother Muradin.
One of the greatest explorers to ever wander the lands of Azeroth, Brann is recognized and welcomed across the known world. The warm, courageous dwarf has made friends and acquaintances in nearly every charted land - and presumably those uncharted as well. Brann has spent many years mapping out the remote corners and hidden nooks of the Eastern Kingdoms for his beloved Explorers' Guild. With the recent discovery of Kalimdor, Brann is one of the first dwarves to tread the unknown paths of the ancients.

Genn Greymane; King of Gilneas
kinggenngreymane.png

Sometimes spelled as "Graymane" is the king of the nation and kingdom of Gilneas. He is a large bearish man, a brawny warrior with thick features, a heavy beard, and black and gray armor who must be in his seventies as of the Greymane Empire. Greymane was also noted for being stubborn , proud, and spoke only "to hear the sound of his own voice".
During the Second War, Greymane met with the other human leaders at Capital City to hear of Stormwind's fall at the hands of the orcish Horde. Greymane joined the other human leaders in forming the Alliance of Lordaeron to counter the Horde threat, but due to his pride, he offered only token support. After the conclusion of the Second War, Greymane chafed at using Gilnean taxes to help pay for the orc internment camps and Nethergarde Keep. Greymane decided that Gilneas could not and would not pay for the wars of other nations, so he withdrew Gilneas from the Alliance, ordered the construction of the Greymane Wall and isolated Gilneas from the rest of the world.

Kael'thas Sunstrider; Prince of Quel'thals and one of the Six
thassunstrider1c.png

Kael'thas Sunstrider was a senior member of the Kirin Tor and the Prince of Quel'Thalas, the last of the Sunstrider Dynasty and he was a powerful mage and member of the Six, the shadowy high council of the Kirin Tor. Prior to the Second War, he and the other members of the high council questioned Khadgar about the orcs and the events in Karazhan that led to the death of Medivh.
A wizard of great skill and power, Kael became a high-ranking member of the Kirin Tor. His continuing magical studies brought him to the Violet Citadel, where he met Lady Jaina Proudmoore while she was still an apprentice. He was immediately drawn to the brilliant and lovely teenager, though the difference between their ages filled him with guilt and self-doubt. Eventually he courted her; however, he had little success in winning her regard. She remained dedicated to her craft above all else.
When rumors began to circulate that Jaina had given her heart to Prince Arthas Menethil, Kael'thas was deeply grieved. In time Jaina and Arthas parted ways, but it was all too obvious to Kael'thas that they still cherished feelings for one another. Kael'thas and Jaina would never have more than an awkward friendship.

Kel'Thuzad; Member of the Kirin Tor
thuzad1a.png

By the period shortly before the Second War, Kel'Thuzad was a member of the Council of Six, the high council of the Kirin Tor — the masters of Dalaran. Of the Kirin Tor's leaders, Kel'Thuzad was the most eager to gain access to the Guardian's Library — the depository of knowledge hoarded by Medivh in his tower of Karazhan — and thus was most upset when the library was lost. After Medivh's death, Kel'Thuzad and the other senior members of the Kirin Tor questioned Medivh's apprentice, Khadgar, about what happened; Kel'Thuzad seemed particularly interested in discovering more about the mysterious Order of Tirisfal, which — as he pointed out to Antonidas, the leader of the Kirin Tor — was relevant when discussing Medivh.

Lor'themar Theron; Ranger Commander and Future Regent Lord of Quel'thalas
themartheron1.png

Long since his role as a High Elven ranger and warden of the Quel'thalas Kingdom, has become a great hero in balancing a fierce love for his country together with the weight of his peoples' burdens. With the betrayal of his scion, Lor'themar holds the belief that none remain with a right to the crown -- not even Lor'themar himself, who has continued to style himself as the Ranger-General. He holds deep guilt for his decision to exile the quel'dorei that remained within Quel'Thalas from their home, despite reasoning that he could not have possibly managed to lead a people divided. For the good of his country, Lor'themar is willing to play the role of a pawn -- a dangerous trait that Rommath mentions was shared by Kael'thas before him.
Though a natural ranger, Lor'themar has become incredibly versed in political matters since being named Ranger-General, able to quickly deduce hidden meanings and see straight through the masks of those within his sphere of influence. His status among Quel'Thalas' highest authority figures aside, he refuses to wear royal colours, and until very recently preferred to retain his Farstrider attire. His formerly humble clothing aside, however, Lor'themar is a figure of authority and has no issues asserting his will.
Lor'themar has displayed sympathy for the humans, and against the advice of even his closest allies, went out of his way to offer the Alliance aid and supplies.

Anasterian Sunstrider; King of Quel'thalas and Father to Kael'thas
anasteriansunstrider1a.png

Reigning during the Troll Wars against the resurgent Amani Empire, Anasterian saw that his people were hard-pressed to keep the forest trolls at bay and were perilously close to defeat. In desperation, Anasterian turned to his southern neighbors, the humans of Arathor. In exchange for aid against the Amani, the elves offered to teach the humans magic. With their combined forces, Quel'Thalas and Arathor shattered the Amani Empire, a defeat from which they have never been able to fully recover. After the Troll Wars, Anasterian pledged the eternal support of the elves to the Arathi, the bloodline of King Thoradin, in gratitude for their salvation.
The Second War
During the Second War, he reluctantly joined the Alliance of Lordaeron, honor-bound to fulfill the pledge to the Arathi, of whom Lord Anduin Lothar was the last. Anasterian was forced to contribute more of Quel'Thalas's armies when the outer forests were attacked by the Horde. Following the war and the destruction of Quel'Thalas's borderlands, he withdrew his nation from the Alliance, citing poor leadership on the humans' part that led to the burning of Quel'Thalas's forests.

Halduron Brightwing; Ranger Lord Commander and Future Ranger General
halduronbrightwing.png

Served under the Alliance of Lordaeron during the Second War against the Horde. Before the Third War, Sylvanas Windrunner was the Ranger-General of Silvermoon, the highest authority amongst the Farstriders. During the Scourge invasion, she was slain by the merciless Prince Arthas, and a void was left -- leaving the high elven rangers without a leader. The Farstriders soon chose Halduron Brightwing as the new leader. As he was a great ranger, he was promoted to Ranger-General of Silvermoon, and rules the rangers to this day.

Sylvanas Windrunner; Ranger General of Silvermoon and Windrunner Sister
slyvanaswindrunner1a.png

Was a member of the prominent Windrunner family of the high elves. Her siblings were Alleria, Vereesa, and at least two other brothers. Her family lived at Windrunner Spire in the tranquil forests of Quel'Thalas. Sylvanas joined the rangers and eventually became their leader, rising to the rank of Ranger-General of Silvermoon, military leader of all high elven forces.
During the Second War the high elves initially sent only token support to the Alliance, though Sylvanas' older sister Alleria took her squad of rangers as well. Soon after the forests of Quel'Thalas mysteriously began to burn. Sylvanas and her rangers set out to discover the cause when she came across both her sisters being chased by a band of forest trolls, whom they dispatched quickly. Alleria alerted Sylvanas of the coming orcish Horde, and that it was they who were burning Quel'Thalas with dragon fire. Sylvanas and her rangers moved quickly to meet the Horde and trap them between themselves and the Alliance forces under the command of the paladin Turalyon. The battle took many turns but ultimately the Horde abandoned Quel'Thalas. Sylvanas stayed behind to hunt down any remaining orcs. Shortly after, the Horde was defeated, the Dark Portal destroyed, and the Second War ended.

Vereesa Windrunner; Ranger and Windrunner Sister
windrunner1.png

Is a member of the prominent Windrunner family of the high elves. Her elder sisters Alleria and Sylvanas were Ranger Generals of Silvermoon City. She has at least two other brothers, one of whom was named Lirath. Her family lived at Windrunner Spire in the tranquil forests of Quel'Thalas.
During the Second War, the Horde burned down the borderlands of Quel'Thalas, homeland of the high elves. The rampaging orcs killed Vereesa's parents, but she and her two older sisters, Alleria and Sylvanas, survived.
Vereesa's oldest sister, Alleria, went on to lead an elite cadre of rangers after the Second War and eventually sacrificed herself to destroy the Draenor end of the Dark Portal.

Lirath Windrunner; Younger Brother of the Windrunner Sisters
lirathwindrunner1.png

Was the youngest brother of the Windrunner siblings. He dreamed of becoming a ranger like his three sisters. Lirath was killed when a group of orcs cut their way into Quel'Thalas and attacked the Windrunner clan. Several uncles, aunts, and cousins also perished. Lirath's oldest sister, Alleria Windrunner, swore revenge and began hunting down all remaining orcs after the end of the second war.

General Hath; Commander of the Alterac Forces
generalhath.png

Was the commander of the forces of the Kingdom of Alterac during the Second War. While shocked by the traitorous actions of his king, he nontheless obeyed and stationed his forces as to not obstruct the Horde's passage through the Alterac Mountains. Thoras Trollbane, lord of Stromgarde, sent his forces to block the Horde from passing through, and after doing so spoke with Hath, convincing the general to break his oath and remain loyal to the Alliance.

Edwin VanCleef; Expert Builder and Creator of the Defias Brotherhood
edwinva.png

Once a "roofwalker" in Stormwind with a specialty in defeating mechanical defenses. Yet, when the Horde destroyed the city, he was called upon because of the skills he learned as a child at the side of his father, a master stonemason, and was one of the first to offer his talents to rebuild Stormwind City.
Edwin VanCleef was originally one of the architects that worked on the rebuilding of Stormwind City after its destruction at the end of the Second War. The reconstruction of Stormwind was an arduous task, but with such a genius as VanCleef masterminding the operation, the project was completed smoothly and in less than ten years. However, the House of Nobles refused to pay the Stonemasons Guild for their work.
Some of the more senior of the Stonemasons, including VanCleef, were offered governmental jobs if they’d just be quiet and play along. However, Edwin VanCleef was not willing to betray his workmen. He spat on the floor and walked out of the halls he'd built, vowing that he'd make the city pay one way or another. Shortly afterward, at VanCleef's urging, workers rioted in Stormwind City. Several people died, and VanCleef with other artisans were the first to be cast out of the city gates.
VanCleef took the group of artisans and tinkers sitting in the mud outside the gates of Stormwind and turned them into the Defias Brotherhood.

Jaina Proudmoore; Daughter of Admiral Daelin Proudmoore
jainaproudmoore.png

Born prior to the First War, Jaina Proudmoore is the youngest child of Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, lord of Kul Tiras and longtime friend and ally of Lordaeron and Azeroth. At a young age, Jaina was enamored with tales of the Guardian Aegwynn. When her magical talent was discovered and she was sent to Dalaran, she badgered Antonidas into accepting her as an apprentice, eventually becoming one of the few female wizards in direct service to Dalaran. Under pressure by the expectations of her mentor, the heroic legacy she had to live up to, and the watchful eye of the citizenry of Lordaeron, Jaina struggled to keep her focus on her studies.
Because of their mutually royal heritage, it was inevitable that Jaina and Prince Arthas, the heir to the throne of Lordaeron, would meet. Over the years, they grew close as friends, and then romantically. They were very much in love with one another and were actually engaged to be married. But, eventually Arthas would question whether the two of them were ready to be together. Arthas would abruptly end the relationship so Jaina could focus on her magical studies in Dalaran and Arthas could focus on his commitments to Lordaeron. Jaina was very hurt by the decision, but did not fight him on it. She would soon realize and agree that it was the right thing to do at the time. Shortly after, they decided to rekindle their romance, but this was during the beginning of the Scourge invasion that would change both of their lives forever.

Dar'Khan Drathir; Member of the Convocation of Silvermoon
khandrathir.png

Was a member of the Convocation of Silvermoon during the Second War. When warned by Alleria Windrunner of the potential threat of an alliance between the Horde and the Amani forest trolls under Zul'jin, Dar'Khan scoffed and believed that they would not be able to get past the Runestones that protected the borders of Eversong Woods.
As a magister of Quel'Thalas, Dar'Khan used the Sunwell to help construct the cities, shape the land, and attain whatever the high elves desired. He was also a friend of future Regent Lord Lor'themar Theron. Lack of recognition for his part in these glorious deeds, coupled with his own egotistical nature, pushed him down a dark path and he began to secretly develop his own magics, as well as an obsession with the Sunwell. Frustrated by a lack of progress, Dar'Khan was elated when Prince Arthas reached out to aid him, and pledged his loyalty to the despoiler of Lordaeron.

Thoras Trollbane; Warrior King of the human Kingdom of Stromgarde
galentrollbane.png

Thoras Trollbane was a natural born warrior. His people's lands were in the heart of troll-populated areas, and so being ready for battle was simply a way of life. Due to this, he is easily the largest and physically the strongest human king in the Alliance. Thoras was a man of few words only speaking those needed. However, his gruff exterior hid a very sharp mind.[5] This often gives him an advantage when dealing with arrogant men. Trollbane was old friend of King Terenas of Lordaeron, likely known each other since youths and was his closest ally. Though their relationship soured after the war, they still respect each other greatly. Trollbane was also a rival and an enemy of King Perenolde of Alterac. He wielded a mighty axe, which could be the Trollbane into battle during the siege of Lordaeron but he was also known to wield the dreaded sword Trol'kalar.
He was one of the human leaders who met at the councils to form the Alliance of Lordaeron. Stromgarde was quick to join the Alliance, following the start of the Second War, sending half of its standing army to the main Alliance forces, for Trollbane felt that battle was to be had with the orcs to stop their threat, he was one of the first in accept to form the Alliance of Lordaeron.[6] Genn Greymane didn't want to form a combined army but Thoras and his friend Admiral Proudmoore accused him of cowardice so Greymane accepted to form the Alliance. Stromgarde had little chance to show its offensive capabilities, as the half of the army (the one that didn't went with Lothar) was defending the Northlands from the Horde's invasion through the dwarven realm of Khaz Modan, which the Horde led by the Blacktooth Grin had already expanded into.
Stromgarde came under heavy assault and losses, they lost their island citadel of Tol Barad but continued to battle through, they tried to ambush Cho'gall and kill him but they failed. The Horde manage to destroy a good deal of Trollbane's kingdom, and to continued its march towards the elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas.
During the Siege of Lordaeron, Trollbane personally led his surviving troops to cut the Horde reinforcements through the Alterac Mountains, preventing the entire Horde from overwhelming Lordaeron's Capital City.
As the Alliance forces made their push to the South, he sent a Stromgarde force under his nephew Danath Trollbane to retake Khaz Modan.
Following the destruction of Alterac after its deal with the Horde became known, Thoras Trollbane petitioned King Terenas to annex the eastern portion of Alterac's territory to Stromgarde in recognition of the latter's sacrifices and valor during the Second War.
After the defeat of the orcs in the Second War, much of the Horde was wiped out, and most surviving orcs were placed in internment camps. Trollbane, however, fervently disagreed with this policy, believing that the orcs were simply too dangerous to be kept alive. He argued with Terenas which was bitter for both as it was an argument between very close friends. When Lordaeron refused to mass execute the orcs, Trollbane sadly withdrew his support from the Alliance.

Marcus Redpath; Headman of Southshore
marcuspedpath1.png

Marcus Redpath was the headman of Southshore prior to the onset of the Second War, greeting Anduin Lothar, Khadgar, and the refugees from the Kingdom of Stormwind. He sent his fastest rider, Willem, to King Terenas to alert him to their arrival. He is possibly related to Joseph, Carlin, and Marlene Redpath.

Willem; A Rider of Southshore
reginaldwindsor.png

Was a resident of Southshore when Anduin Lothar and the survivors of Stormwind arrived from across the Great Sea after losing the First War. Willem, being the town's finest rider, was immediately sent to Capital City on horseback by Marcus Redpath to inform King Terenas of what had transpired and of the visit he would soon recieve from Prince Varian Wrynn, the rightful heir to Stormwind, and Regent Lord Lothar.

Derek Proudmoore; Kul Tiras Ship Commander
destructionofazerothcop.png

Derek Proudmoore was the first son of Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, and elder sibling of Tandred and Jaina. Being the eldest son, Derek was first in line to inherit the Merchant-Kingdom of Kul Tiras.
During the Second War, Derek was in command of a destroyer in the Third Fleet, accompanying his father in battle against the orcish navy. Without warning, they came under attack by dragon riders in the service of the Horde. Though he attempted to warn his father of the danger, Derek was incinerated by one of the dragons as he stood on top of the crow's nest. His boat was sent to the bottom shortly thereafter.

Alexandros Mograine; Silverhand Paladin
alexandrosmograine.png

During the assault on Blackrock Spire in the Second War, Mograine of the Silver Hand witnessed an orcish warlock channeling magic through a dark orb. After the warlock's death, Mograine went to claim it for the Alliance, but his hand was badly mangled as soon as he touched it. Though describing the orb as the "living embodiment of shadow," he was still curious as to what power it might hold and kept it in an iron chest.
Mograine kept the orb a secret until the Scourge reached Lordaeron. He revealed it to several other members of the Silver Hand, suggesting that they search for the orb's polar opposite - a manifestation of the Holy Light itself - to be used against the impending undead holocaust. Mograine's peers, appalled at the sight of this dark crystal, attempted to destroy it with a holy spell. Unexpectedly, the crystal absorbed the spell and became its antithesis, the very crystal of pure light that Mograine suggested moments before, and even restored life to his mangled hand. It was decided that from this crystal a weapon would be forged that would smite the undead with such power that only a cloud of ash would remain in its wake—The Ashbringer.
Under the command of Saidan Dathrohan, Mograine and Fairbanks traveled to Ironforge to ask King Magni Bronzebeard to forge the mighty blade. Magni, having only just learned of his brother's apparent demise, was more than willing to craft a weapon to battle the undead, and described it as the greatest creation wrought by his hand.

Aiden Perenolde; King of Alterac and Traitor to the Alliance
alteracking.png

grew up wealthy, never knowing need. He adored his home in the Alterac Mountains, but had his eyes on Lordaeron City. He held none of the lineage for the throne, even if everyone in Lordaeron died inexplicably. He was one of the human leaders at the councils to form the Alliance of Lordaeron. When the Horde invaded Lordaeron, he saw his chance to ride the wave of their destruction and claim the jewel of the Alliance as his own. His nation was one of weakest contributors to the Alliance during the Second War. Lord Aiden Perenolde and the rest of the ruling families of Alterac secretly sided with the orcs in exchange for power. He feared for the safety of his people, so he betrayed the Alliance by feeding information to Doomhammer and the Horde. Perenolde arranged for a peasant revolt in Tyr's Hand to cover Horde mining operations there, kidnapped mages from Dalaran and sent pirates to assassinate Sir Uther Lightbringer; which would remove the driving force from the Order of the Silver Hand.
However, this treachery was discovered and Alterac burned to the ground by the incensed Alliance forces. Perenolde was deposed and put into custody. But soon after was put under house arrest, and confined to his palace and the rest of his family was put on close watch, and the kingdom was put under Alliance control. As a sovereign king he could not be exiled, executed, or simply imprisoned (in order to avoid worrying the other kings that the same reaction would occur if they disagreed on anything). The other kings wanted him to abdicate his position as king, so that he could be executed as a lesser noble. However, he refused, knowing it would mean his death. His kingdom had been put under martial law as a temporary solution. During an orcish attack on New Stormwind in the aftermath of the Horde's defeat, Perenolde had the Book of Medivh stolen by his troops in an attempt to use for future leverage. He ultimately traded it to the Horde to rid his lands of the vengeful troops of Stromgarde and Lordaeron.[14][15] Deathwing attacked the barracks holding the troops. His son Aliden was disgusted by the action of his father, knowing it would destroy everything he had done to try to clear the family name.[16] After the debacle, Perenolde was declared a traitor. His people were exiled from their lands, and a warrant was put on his head.
When the nobles were thrust from their lands into the Arathi Highlands after the Horde's defeat, he knew if they didn't work together they would die. Lord Aiden Perenolde, realized he had to do something drastic to reclaim his lands. When the Burning Legion and the Scourge began their assault on Lordaeron, he did not make the same mistake twice by allying himself with the enemy; he simply took advantage of the Alliance's distraction to begin moving on his lands. The harried and panicked citizens, the people they used to lord over, were frightened and confused and put up little fight, more concerned with the hellish creatures that were rampaging over the land. He managed to gain a loose hold on the prickly nobles to organize raiding parties on the local towns. When he regained control of his lands — and his neighbors — after the Third War, he had a burning desire to punish the Alliance (never mind that it lay shattered with the fall of Lordaeron). He managed to urge his fellow nobles into taking more and more surrounding land, and currently the Syndicate holds a good portion of the Alterac Mountains and Arathi Highlands. He knew he was a target for the nobles who chafe under his rule and protected himself accordingly. Perenolde became the first and self-proclaimed ruler of the Syndicate. At the time he was 66, dark of skin and hair with blue eyes. However, he was ultimately captured and ousted. He was left rotting in prison (where he would eventually die). Now, Lord Aliden Perenolde, Aiden’s son, leads the Syndicate to regain the lands.
His position and his former lands have been fought over by his eldest daughter, his eldest son, and his nephew.
He was known to be addicted to flushbloom.

Arthas Menethil; Prince of Lordaeron
arthasmenethil.png

Was born to King Terenas Menethil II, four years before the start of the First War. The young prince grew up in a time when the lands of Azeroth were ravaged by war, the Alliance was crumbling, and darker clouds still loomed on the horizon. As a young child, he became friends with Varian Wrynn.
As a youth, Arthas was trained in combat by Muradin Bronzebeard, the brother of the dwarven king Magni Bronzebeard, and became an adept swordsman. Under the tutelage of Uther the Lightbringer, Arthas was inducted into the Knights of the Silver Hand at the young age of 19. The ceremony was held in the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City, and it was then that Arthas was given the holy mace called "Light's Vengeance".
Despite his rash and headstrong behavior, Arthas became a renowned warrior. One of his more famed exploits was counterattacking a group of forest trolls striking at Quel'Thalas from Zul'Aman.
It was during this time that Arthas met the youngest daughter of Daelin Proudmoore, the sorceress Jaina. Over the years, they grew close as friends, and then romantically. They were very much in love with one another. But, eventually Arthas would question whether the two of them were ready to be together. Arthas would abruptly end the relationship so Jaina could focus on her magical studies in Dalaran and Arthas could focus on his commitments to Lordaeron.

BEYOND THE DARK PORTAL
Turalyon; General of the Expedition of Draenor
turalyon1f.png

General Turalyon is a exalted veteran of the second war and was second-in-command of the Alliance forces and, as such, Anduin Lothar's successor as Supreme Commander of the Alliance army.
After Lothar's fall at the Battle of Blackrock Spire, Turalyon took up Stormwind's torn standard and Lothar's broken sword and lead the Alliance to victory, and rallied the army of the Alliance to victory over the Horde, eventually capturing Doomhammer, and driving the orcs back to the Dark Portal. As the Lion's lieutenant, Turalyon was named Lothar's successor as Supreme Commander by the other (loyal) members of the Alliance and enforced half of the Horde through the Dark Portal and bringing the other half to it's knees.
Since that day, Turalyon has been haunted by Lothar's death, which he believed was his fault.

Khadgar; Wizard of Dalaran
3-35i3cdg.jpg

Is one of the most powerful wizards to have ever lived. He was the apprentice for the Last Guardian, Medivh, and went on to become one of the greatest heroes of the Alliance during the Second War and as a commander of the Alliance Expedition to Draenor, and his name is dwarven and means "trust". This gave him an odd dichotomy with Medivh, whose name means "keeper of secrets" in Thalassian.
Following Medivh's death and the fall of Stormwind to the orcs, Khadgar fled north with Lord Lothar and the rest of the refugees to Lordaeron. He spent the Second War fighting with the Alliance of Lordaeron, all the while studying Medivh's spells and the nature of the Dark Portal.
When the tide of the war turned and the Alliance managed to push the Horde back to the Portal itself, Khadgar attempted to destroy the Dark Portal, effectively severing the link between Azeroth and Draenor. The rift between worlds remained, however. To guard against a second attack from Draenor, Khadgar oversaw the construction of Nethergarde Keep in the Blasted Lands.

Alleria Windrunner; Expert Ranger of the Expedition
alleria1.png

Alleria Windrunner is the eldest of the Windrunner sisters, all of whom have served Quel'Thalas and the Alliance with distinction. She also had a younger brother.
Alleria always wore a necklace given to her by her parents, an exquisite piece containing an emerald, a ruby, and a sapphire.
When the Horde invaded Lordaeron, Anduin Lothar called upon the ancient debt the Sunstriders owed the Arathi bloodline. The ruling council of Quel'Thalas, seeing the Horde as more of an excuse to fulfill that debt than an actual threat, sent a small force of elves to assist the Alliance of Lordaeron.
Alleria was one of the few in Quel'Thalas who believed that the Horde might pose a threat to the elves, and consequently chose to lead her rangers to Southshore to join the Alliance of Lordaeron, despite not being ordered to do so.

Kurdran Wildhammer; Gryphon Rider of Northeron
kuradanwildhammer1a.png

Was the Chief Thane of the Wildhammer Clan, and the Hinterlands During the Second War, the Orcish Horde led by Orgrim Doomhammer invaded the Wildhammer homeland. Kurdran was one of the first dwarves to spot the invaders and initiate battle. Soon he was aided by the forces of the Alliance of Lordaeron, and together they fought the bloodthirsty horde.
Kurdran pledged his and his kingdom's aid to Anduin Lothar after the human Alliance aided them in forcing the invading orcs and forest trolls out of their homeland.
Kurdran and his loyal steed, the gryphon Sky'ree, became legendary during the war, battling over land and sea as well as the air; lending aid to Lordaeron and Quel'thalas. He left the Second War with nine slain dragons to his credit. After the war ended, Kurdran remained with the Alliance as a scout, his service proving invaluable to the Alliance war effort.

Danath Trollbane; Stromgarde Militia Captain
danathtrollbane2.png

Danath is the nephew of Thoras Trollbane, Lord of Stromgarde, and militia commander of the Alliance Expedition to Draenor. He is also known as "Danath Dungalion".
A mercenary captain from the Stromgarde militia at the beginning of the Second War, Danath was made famous for leading the armies of Stromgarde in the final fight for Khaz Modan.
His status as a great general and fighter elevated him to the position of Overseer at the orcish internment camp system in Azeroth, based at New Stormwind.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Nemuraan; Keeper of the Dead in Auchindoun
draenei4.png

Was one of the survivors of the War between the Orcs and the Draenei and loathe the orcs bitterly. He and a group of surviving Draenei took refuge in the halls of Auchindoun.
He later discovered Grizzik, an arakkoa leading group of new creatures he had never seen before.
Nemuraan demanded an explanation for the intrusion and used his powers to learn the new comers' language. Their leader Danath Trollbane explained that they were an alliance of races from another world and have come to end the orcish threat.
After some considering, Nemuraan believed them though he was still unwilling to show his people's hideout and offered to aid the Alliance forces in freeing their friend Kurdran Wildhammer by summoning the ghosts of the Draenei army that had fallen during the war. He was at first worried about upsetting his new allies but they readily agreed to his delight. Their combined forces stormed Auchindoun and rescued the dwarf, but he was badly wounded.

Thalressar; Alleria's Great Rangers
highelfranger.png

Thalressar was one of the elven lieutenants serving under Alleria Windrunner during the Alliance Expedition's invasion of Draenor. With Verana's return to Quel'Thalas, Thalressar presumably took up the mantle of Alleria's right hand. When Alleria followed Khadgar to the Blade's Edge Mountains, Thalressar was left in charge of her high elves. Alongside Danath, Herrick and Rellian, Thalressar hunted Ner'zhul through Terokkar Forest.
After the disaster in which Kurdran was captured, Thalressar played a key role in proposing the construction of Allerian Stronghold, and had the location marked. He proclaimed the founding of the keep, as a symbol of the alliance between high elves, humans and dwarves, and to mark the sacrifices of the Wildhammer clan. An arakkoa by the name of Grizzik was captured shortly after, as he had been following the expedition. He promised to guide the Alliance into Auchindoun, where Ner'zhul was hiding. There they encountered one of the last draenei, Nemuraan. Nemuraan assisted Thalressar, Danath and Rellian by allowing them to use seldom travelled passages, and he invoked the ghosts of dead draenei to assist the Alliance in their ambush against the orcs and their new allies, the Cabal of Vorpil. Thalressar fought valiantly, and helped rescue Kurdran.
It is unsure whatever happened to him since the events in which Ner'zhul opened the various portals, but Captain Auric Sunchaser now leads Allerian Stronghold. Auric is presumably his successor.
In all likelihood, Thalressar is dead, or he is now in the company of Alleria and Turalyon, having vanished along with them to wherever it is they now tread.
Thalressar was a lethal ally, revealing a preference for duty over morality. His was a perspective keen on calculated justice of a more subtle sort. He occassionally disagreed with Danath, and even after an arguement, Danath would be unsure if Thalressar's trademark tone was either sarcastic or honest but Danath liked him for it. It was Thalressar's pride and passion which stood out when the time was right. He bore a hatred against the Horde which he gained due to the attack on Quel'Thalas. Like Alleria, he seeks some matter of closure for all that has transpired. He was also a strong believer in the Alliance, and spoke of the combined strength of human, dwarf and elf.
The arakkoa Grizzik's nickname for Thalressar was 'Long Ears' which Danath found very amusing.

Verana; Alleria's Great Rangers
highelfranger2.png

Was the right hand of Alleria Windrunner during the Alliance Expedition's incursion against Ner'zhul and the united orc clans. On the eve of the crossing through the Dark Portal, Alleria came to Verana and asked of her to do her a great service. Alleria explained that it was evident that there was a great risk that she might die in her campaign, and wanted Verana to deliver pendants to Sylvanas and Vereesa. Verana promised to keep them instead, awaiting Alleria's return so that she could give them to the sisters herself. With that, she departed for Quel'Thalas.
Eventually, she gave one of the pendants to Sylvanas, who lost it during her final stand at a spire formerly located somewhere between the Elrendar River and Fairbreeze Village. The Lady's Necklace was one day to be recovered from anguished undead that had taken it to Windrunner Spire, the Ranger-General's former home.

Rellian; Alleria's Great Rangers
rellian.png

Is one of the high elven lieutenants who served in the Alliance Expedition. When Alleria followed Khadgar in search of the Skull of Gul'dan, Rellian and Thalressar were left in charge of her rangers. Along with Danath, they continued the hunt for Ner'zhul. During the march in Terokkar Forest, Thalressar and Herrick proposed the foundation of Allerian Stronghold, and Rellian was one of the participants in that act which marked the fort's beginning. He later accompanied the army in its surprise attack on Auchindoun, and fought to help rescue Kurdran and drive back Vorpil's Cabal.

Grizzik;
grizzik1a.png

Was an arakkoa living in Terokkar Forest. After the Alliance Expedition arrived on Draenor, he was found by Danath Trollbane and Thalressar during their pursuit of Ner'zhul's orcs. Grizzik led the Alliance troops to Auchindoun, where the orcs took refuge, and introduced them to the Auchenai priest Nemuraan.

Antonidas; Kirin Tor Archmage
kirintor.png

As but a mere boy when he became an apprentice to one of the Kirin Tor. He was a tenacious learner, pouring over books in the magical libraries of Dalaran. After only a few short years of studying under the sect, Antonidas had outclassed his peers and earned their admiration, as well as the respect of his elders. At the age of 12, Antonidas' thesis, "The Ramifications of refined Reverse Time Travel Phenomena into Quantifiable Magical Practice", earned him the Kirin Tor Sash of Supreme Acumen, the youngest ever to receive the award. Shortly thereafter the Ruling Council offered him official placement in the Kirin Tor Advanced Research and Illumination Sect, also the youngest to receive an official invitation.
As the mage grew older, he continued to learn and hone his abilities. His natural talent for defensive magic and wisdom beyond his years made Antonidas an ideal candidate for a position on the Council of Six, which he eventually attained. Antonidas proved not only wise and fair, but infinitely regimented in goal to become more knowledgeable. He quickly became one of the dominant voices of Dalaran.
Before the Second War, leaders of each of the Azerothian nations met in Lordaeron to discuss the threat of the orc invasion. Archmage Antonidas attended the summit on behalf of the Council of Six, pledging loyalty to the Alliance on Dalaran's behalf. He also monitored the progress of the young but extremely talented mage Khadgar, who had served as Medivh's apprentice during the first war. In the aftermath of the Second War, Antonidas promoted Khadgar to the rank of archmage and placed him in a position of authority over the mission to enter the Dark Portal and investigate Draenor.
A few months following the war, when Teron Gorefiend infiltrated the Violet Citadel, Antonidas rushed to intercept him. He found the death knights in the Arcane Vault, Dalaran's store for its most precious of relics. Alongside Krasus, Kael, and Sathera, Antonidas battled against the death knights who had come to steal the Eye of Dalaran for Ner'zhul. Sathera was killed, and the death knights escaped atop the backs of Deathwing and his black dragons.

Boulestraan the Blinding Light;
draenei1c.png

Was a draenei spirit, which, alongside Nemuraan and an army of spectral draenei warriors, helped Danath Trollbane and the Alliance rescue Kurdran Wildhammer from the Horde in Auchindoun.

Herrick; Second in command to Danath Trollbane
footman1.png

Was one of the right hand men of Danath. He helped oversee the human contingent of the Alliance Expedition which was sent to hunt Ner'zhul. After a tiring march, Herrick and Thalressar decided to mark the location and found Allerian Stronghold. It was an act to commemorate the sacrifices of the Wildhammer dwarves, who had lost Kurdran. According to Thalressar, it was also a symbol of the union between elves, men, and dwarves. Herrick eagerly partook in that morale boosting occasion, and then continued to go on and fight against Vorpil and his Cabal in Auchindoun in their continued search for Ner'zhul.

Map Solution

A good terrain can be copied or made like a campaign map from Warcraft 2, then it will feel like the actual Warcraft 2

UNITS
Alliance:
Heroes:
PALADIN:
MAGE:
RANGER:
i27skn.png

Elven rangers are a special cadre of elven archers who are intimately bound to the wildlands of Lordaeron. Their pursuit of mastery in Longbow, Marksmanship, and Scouting make them more rugged and even deadlier than their brothers — traits for which they are greatly feared amongst their enemies. These secretive and elite warriors have never involved themselves in the affairs of humans, but when Horde onslaughts threatened to destroy the elven homelands, they quickly offered their services to the Alliance. Although their numbers are few, their presence could change the course of the war if they are deployed wisely.
TINKER:
THANE:
1z5hzsg.png

The mountain kings, or thanes as they are known in Khaz Modan, are the mightiest dwarven warriors under the mountain. Wielding both enchanted warhammers and hand axes, these fierce fighters live to test themselves against worthy opponents. Unconcerned with their race's preoccupation with mechanical devices and mining precious minerals, Mountain Kings live only for battle. Dedicated to safeguarding the Alliance which saved their kingdom during the Second War, the mountain Kings can be counted upon to rally behind any banner that stands between freedom and the ever looming shadow of evil.

Ground Units:
Peasant will have the same attack
FOOTMAN:
alliancecopy.png

Footmen are the initial line of defense against the Horde. Arrayed in hardened steel armor, they courageously wield broadsword and shield in hand-to-hand combat against their vile Orcish foes. The valorous Footmen are ever-prepared to heed the call to arms.
Archer will have the same attack
Demolition Squads will have 17-13
KNIGHTS: (will have 19-12 kinda like the captain)
allianceknight.png

The Knights of Lordaeron represent the fiercest fighting force in the armies of the Alliance. Protected by suits of heavy armor, they carry mighty swords and shield with which to crush all who would threaten the freedom of their lands. Astride great warhorses, these honorable and just warriors serve as a symbol of order to the peoples of Lordaeron in these dark and chaotic times. Having learned of the fate the Knights of Azeroth suffered after the First War, they have sworn to both avenge their fallen brethren and free their homelands from the grip of the Orcish Hordes.

CREATURES OF THE LAND
AZEROTH
These are just some of the creatures native to the land.
BEAR:
aze7fr.png

A very common, bulky, furry, four-legged beast that lopes along on all fours, but may occasionally rise up on hind legs. Most bears are hostile when approached, despite their sometimes cuddly appearance.

CRAB:
33uvarl.png

A crab is a (typically) small crustacean that is often found on beaches. Crabs have high armor, as the shell would imply. Crabs are typically neutral and ignore passers-by.

HYDRA:
6olp1u.png

Hydras are three-headed beasts that dwell in marshes and in damp underground areas. They are notoriously difficult to kill, both because their wounds heal quickly and, when another creature would die from similar wounds, they split into two smaller hydras. Some savage creatures discover ways to use hydras as guardians, though these creatures are by no means domesticated.

CENTAUR:
2qm2ha8.png

Centaurs are a half-humanoid, half-horse, war-like tribal race. They abound in central and southern of the Kingdom of Azeroth, primarily in the Blasted Lands, where they engage in constant war against the Blackrock Orcs and Human caravans. Though rare, the woods of the Blasted Lands in the Eastern Kingdoms are heavily populated with centaurs. They are savagery and brutality incarnate and their clan is named Blackrock in honor of the large mountain they think gives them their power.

MURLOC; Fish-men of the Sea
103zx91.png

The murloc is a bipedal, amphibious humanoid race residing along coastlines, lakeshores, and riverbeds. Murlocs possess bulbous bodies, large mouths lined with rows of sharp fangs, and slime-coated skin. Individuals range in coloration from turquoise to darkish grey, while their heights vary from 3-1/2 feet to 6 feet. Depending on the variety, murlocs may lean towards a closer resemblance to frogs or to fish; the iconic green murloc, for example, has coloration similar the Cuban Tree frog.

GNOLL:
gnoll.jpg

Are known for their beastly cunning, their ferocious tempers, and their penchant for infighting. Though more intelligent than beasts, they tend to lack the finer reasoning of other sentient races. They enjoy fighting — almost too much. Gnolls make their home in Lordaeron in the Alterac Mountains and the Redridge Mountains,

BOG BEAST:
Bogbeast.png

These massive plants might be mistaken for a thick clump of vegetation if not for its vaguely humanoid shape and surprising mobility. As the name suggests, bog beasts are massive, shambling monsters that are half plant and half beast. Not much is known about these secretive lords of the swamp except that they are territorial and quite aggressive. Explorers have recorded stories of their immense strength and resilience to harm.

DRAENOR
These are just some of the creatures native to the land.
ARAKKOA:
bej3bo.png

The arakkoa are an ancient race of bird-like humanoids native to Draenor. They have brightly feathered bodies in a veritable rainbow of colors, hooked beaks, clawed hands, taloned feet, and an erectile crest of feathers on their heads. They wear ragged cloaks about their bodies. Arakkoa appear to also have "sage" (with ornate shoulder and head ornaments) and "warrior" (with a metal helm and mail epaulets) classes. Hazzik mentions they have a caste system.

SPIDERS:
outlandspider.png

Poisonous and huge, these spiders are found in dwellings long forgotten by time and man. Their bite is venomous, and their many legs make them an agile opponent. Having grown so large from years of hunting increasingly larger prey, they have learned to hide in dark places and attack from the shadows.
The Warlock clan have used their magiks to create the hideous abomination that they call spiders. Mutated from the smaller creatures commonly found in the area, these huge poison fanged beasts are twisted and predatory. While some are controlled by the Warlocks, many grow too large to maintain control over, and are released into the forbidden lands. These giant spiders lurk in dark, dank places and spin their webs, seeking to entrap the unwary.

CLEFTHOOF:
2yuxc7d.png

Clefthoof are large herbivores native to the plains of Nagrand. They seem to have adapted to complete exposure, their wooly coats and thick skin protecting them from the elements, and living only in open areas. They have evolved with large, powerful horns and bony neck plating, both of which can be assumed to function mainly in dueling between males over mates due to the absence of a predatory species in Nagrand able to take down the clefthoof. Their great size is most likely the only deterrent the clefthoof needs against natural predators.

BURROWERS:
1zydbfa.jpg

Sand worms are huge worms and little is known about the sand worms. They are worm-like creatures with burrowing claws growing from the upper body. These enable the beasts to dig through most kinds of soil with frightening speed, often surprising unwary pray by bursting up through the ground beneath the creature and killing it with its sharp beak-like mouth. You can spot where they are because rocks/the ground move above them.
Young burrowers are unable to tunnel, and also seem to lack the characteristic claws.

ELEKK:
168bvog.png

Elekk are a species of large, elephant-like creatures native to Draenor that the draenei commonly employ as mounts. They are found mostly in the northern and eastern parts of Nagrand — where neutral Wild Elekk roam its lush plains (while being preyed upon by poachers for their ivory tusks) — and in the southern region near Oshu'gun — where they congregate into large herds of hostile bull elekk with the giant elekk matriarch Tusker at their head.

ROCKFLAYER:
Rockflayer.png

Though they primarily hunt smaller mountain animals, they are not afraid of stalking potential prey that is much bigger than they are. There are accounts of packs of rock flayers taking down even mighty elekk that had wandered into the rock flayers' territory. Their vicious blade scythes and climbing claws are so sharp they can even cut through sheer rock, enabling the rock flayers to climb the most difficult overhangs with ease. Even for a predatory species, they are extremely fast and very aggressive

NETHER RAY:
Netherray.png

The nether ray is a beast native to Outland. It has a body much like a stingray's (thus the name) with a long tail and two feathery plumes. It has crystalline growths and stripes running down its body, and all types are brightly colored.
While not especially big as a whole, at least one titanic specimen has been allegedly spotted by adventurers and have been found in Netherstorm, Zangarmarsh, and Shadowmoon Valley.

PLACES OF MYSTERY
AZEROTH
THE RUNESTONE OF CAER DARROW
runestoneofcaerdarrow.png

The Runestone was an ancient monolith erected by the Elven Druids and inscribed with powerful runes of protection and warding. The Runestone, seized by Gul'dan and his Ogres, was eventually hewn into slates that were then used to construct the Altar of Storms. The elves, knowing that their sacred artifact had been defiled to created the Ogre-Magi, have sworn to destroy all of the unholy Altars across the kingdom.

THE TOMB OF SARGERAS:
tombofsargeras.png

Buried beneath the Great Sea for over one thousand years, the ancient Tomb of Sargeras waits to be discovered by any foolish enough to pursue its secrets. The Tomb is rumored to house the remains of the ancient Daemonlord Sargeras, defeated in a contest of arcane mastery by the legendary Guardian Aegwyn. The sorcerer Medivh - scion of Aegwyn - promised to divulge the location of the Tomb of Gul'dan in exchange for the destruction of Azeroth. Before Medivh could do so, his tower was invaded and he was slain by the warriors of Azeroth. Gul'dan, believing that the Tomb contains power absolute, hopes to find and claim it as his own. Success may indeed make him a living god.

The Portal

Encircled by a ring of towering obsidian stones, the Portal stands some fifty feet above the marshy ground of the Black Morass. Being the original gateway to Azeroth that was opened by the wizard Medivh before the First War, its constant use has increased it in both size and power. It serves as a passage to untold number of Orc and Ogre warriors, reinforcing the Horde's already overflowing ranks. The lands around the Portal that were once dead swamps have been transformed into barren soil the color of blood and are now teeming with strange, demonic beasts. This dark perversion of the land is steadily spreading across the continent of Azeroth and threatens to consume the entire world.

DRAENOR

RESOURCES OF THE LAND
Gold; Resource for building, hiring troops, and making a deal with a few people
w6t8ya.png

Mined from the rich earth of Azeroth and Lordaeron, this precious metal is commonly used in exchange for goods and services. As a rare substance that is always in short supply, Gold must be dug out from the rock and soil within establishes Gold Mines. Many of these Mines were abandoned when the Orc raids began and the workers fled for their very lives. Since the beginning of the War, these sites are frequently operated while under the protection of military forces.

Lumber; Resource for building and upgrading buildings
2l8hyk0.png

Harvested from the abundant forests that inhabit all but a few regions in the realm, the uses for Lumber are nearly infinite. Once a tree has been felled and returned to the community, it is processed and made ready for use as Lumber. Craftsman then use this material to build many different structures and ships, as well as certain weapons and machines of war. Lumber may also be used in the research and construction of strange new devices - or by those adept in the arcane arts to aid with their magical studies.

Oil; Resource for building ships and upgrading ships
efqs0m.png

Large pools of this highly flammable substance are found far beneath the surface of the sea. Special Platforms must be constructed in order to drill deep enough into the ocean floor to get at this sticky, black substance. Dark oily patches, created by small geysers that form on the ocean floor and spew modest amounts of oil into the surrounding waters, serve as a beacon to Oil Tankers hunting for the rich black liquid. Although Oil is commonly used in the construction and powering of ships, it has been utilized in the development of both experimental flying craft and extremely powerful weapons.[/CENTER]

That's the point man.
Bringing back a map that some people might not get do to the years that have gone by and so I'm making this campaign so that players alike can relive Warcraft II, for both new and old fans.

Which I really like the idea, it's been 7 years since I last played Warcraft II, or the original warcraft, since I have these new laptops I can't install it on them.

Woah, looky here, a couple of grunts made it into warcraft III... but this doesn't look like the campaign mission... hmmm.
Crazy Grunts.jpg

Credit to the grunt model goes to the great authors of the Scars of Conflict Resource Pack.

I think they made a left after the dark portal instead of going straight.

Instead of doing any custom units, just use the Warcraft III units already in there and edit them a bit.
Alright?

For oil, you can go to gameplay constants and change gold/wood to oil and change it's icon. Then you could make the ships have the Harvest Gold/Lumber (Whicever you choose) and make a goldmine/tree that can be in the water (shrinking it's size)

Bumping for some justice.

Just testing out some things for the attack powers and going to add some previews of the units, buildings, heroes, and then the people you may befriend and help or abandon for someone else.

Hmm, this does look pretty cool.
It does also, though seem slightly like the Scars of Conflict mod. :p
But this is a worthy project, nonetheless.
I do though reccomend that you add some extra bits and bobs here and there, to make it more than just a re-make.

Re-living the old days might be good, but re-living them with added awesomeness is even better.
Believe me.
+Rep for a good idea and the will to keep it going.

Well despite my leave the project is still going on.

Oh and by the way, I'll be adding some screenshots for the project and going to make a Demo version of the prologue missions just after the First War explaining the Fall of Azeroth, and some other stuff, before the Second War starts in the project known as WoW: Destruction of Azeroth.

By the way, add any suggestions or ideas you want for the campaign and I would gladly find a place for it.

Well when I get done a few maps I'm doing for some screenshots, I'll be sure to post some to show off, and there will be other units for both the Horde and Alliance.
I'm planning on making the prologue campaign with just after the First War making Lothar, Khadgar, and the survivors of Stormwind and lost people escape from the land.

This is also the time where Orgrim Doomhammer takes over the Horde and kills his former master Blackhand, and rules over the conquered lands of Azeroth.
Orgrim Doomhammer, finally taking control sends scouts to find the hiding warlocks and hunt them down with his loyalists and finds Gul'dan and brings the old warlock to his knees.

This is what I got so far, but yeah hope you enjoy the prologue campaign and Khadgar as my favorite Warcraft hero of the Alliance you will get some nice spells and funny dialogue for this as well.

Just letting you guys know there will a little tech tree for each race for the two factions.
Oh and I'm having both humans, high elves, dwarves, and gnomes having their own types of units, and the same with the Horde, with orcs, forest trolls, ogres, and goblins.

I'm having as well a recruit possible way to have a better army later in the campaign and how you do stuff will affect the future maps and so on.

Here is a little preview for a few units I'm planning on using.
Humans get a footman, crossbowman, cleric, mage and a knight for their example, and high elves get a scout, archer, ballista, elven destroyer, spell breaker, elven healer, and elven caster for the elves, dwarves with a mountain guardsman, rifleman, demolition squads, and finally the gnomes have their flying machines and a few helpers to aid the Alliance.
For the Horde, its grunt, spear thrower, warlock, necroylte, catapult, and transport and juggernaut for the orcs, axe thrower, berserker, troll destroyer for the forest trolls, ogre warrior and ogre enchanter for the ogres and finally and not least the goblins with their goblin sappers, zeppelin, and a few helpers in the war.

If you like it so far, but please be patient and I look forward too seeing more from this, and I'm getting some units for both sides, thinking up some good ways to make this fun and playful so people don't get bored, and finally people you can count on when you finish their errands.
Kinda like in WoW where you except a quest and go do it, and you be rewarded for your efforts, and that's what I'm trying to do for the people to aid you and lend their help and resources to the cause of that either side.

Can you use hidden tags on the main post, it's a pain to scroll through atm.

It's actually not the whole thing :p
the 2nd post also had a brief essay of the detail :ogre_kawaii:

Great news, looking forward for the release ^^

Great news, looking forward for the release ^^

Well the prologue is first and then the main campaign itself and I kinda want to explain what happened just after the First War and you get to control the survivors of Stormwind with Lord Anduin Lothar, and Khadgar as they flee the land conquered by the Horde and Orgrim Doomhammer takes over the Horde.

That will happen during the Second War, and he is still asleep and with his loyalist Cho'gall with him.
Mind you this prologue is just after the First War and the northern border haven't been warned and Orgrim Doomhammer will get Gul'dan to bow before his feet in the beginning of the Second War.

Oh, I must've gotten my lore wrongly then ><

Don't hurt yourself over nothing, but yeah I looked up my Second War history and read the Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal novels so I know a bit about the history and would be good for my other project helpers.

Heroes of the Alliance:
Alliance_32.gif

ORCS & HUMANS
Medivh; The Last Guardian
medivhguardianofazeroth.png

Magus or Magna Medivh was the last Guardian of Tirisfal, an ancient line of protectors bestowed with great powers to do battle with the agents of the Burning Legion.
He was corrupted even before birth, and possessed by the spirit of the demonlord Sargeras who used Medivh in his plan to conquer Azeroth.
Medivh contacted the orcish warlock, Gul'dan, and together they opened the Dark Portal, which allowed the Burning Legion to begin its destruction of Azeroth. He was slain shortly after by a party led by one of his friends, Lothar.

Varian Wrynn; Prince of Stormwind and Future Ruler of Stormwind
princevarianwrynn.png

Magna Aegwynn; Mother of Medivh and Guardian of Azeroth -Mentioned
magnaaegwynn.png

Commander Borton; One of King Llane's Royalists -Mentioned in Flashback
azerothsoldier.png

Uther Lightbringer; First Paladin of Azeroth
utherthelightbringer.png

Tirion Fordring; Paladin of the Silverhand
tironfordring.png

Daelin Proudmoore; Sea King of Kul Tiras
proudmoore.png

Muradin Bronzebeard; Explorers' Guild Founder
muradinbronzebeard.png

Kael'thas Sunstrider; Prince of Quel'thals and one of the Six
thassunstrider.png

Marcus Redpath; Headman of Southshore
marcusredpath.png

Marcus Redpath was the headman of Southshore prior to the onset of the Second War, greeting Anduin Lothar, Khadgar, and the refugees from the Kingdom of Stormwind. He sent his fastest rider, Willem, to King Terenas to alert him to their arrival. He is possibly related to Joseph, Carlin, and Marlene Redpath.

BEYOND THE DARK PORTAL
Turalyon; General of the Expedition of Draenor
2lj0yh2.png
turalyon1.png

Khadgar; Wizard of Dalaran
khadgarwizardofdalaran.png

Alleria Windrunner; Expert Ranger of the Expedition
alleriawindrunner.png

Kurdran Wildhammer; Gryphon Rider of Northeron
kuradanwildhammer.png

Garona; The Half-Orc Assassin -Mentioned and has a cameo appearance
garona.png

Orgrim Doomhammer; Warchief of the Horde
orgrimdoomhammer1.png

Orgrim Doomhammer, also known as the Backstabber by loyalists of Gul'dan and Blackhand, was the Warchief of the Orcish Horde during the end of the First War and the entirety of the Second War.
Orgrim started his rise to power through the Thunderlord Clan, being a member of that clan too. Blackrock Clan had strong connections to the Thunderlord Clan, though, and for this reason Orgrim was able to rise to power in both. Upon the death of his father, Orgrim became wielder of the Doomhammer and second-in-command to Blackhand.

Gul'dan; The Stormreaver Warlock and Master of the Shadow Council
dan2a.png

Cho'gall; Ogre Mage/Chieftain of the Twilight Hammer's Clan
gall.png

Zul'jin; Forest Troll Leader, Leader of the Tribes
jin1.png

Is a warlord of the Amani forest trolls and has been chieftain of the Amani tribe since before the Second War. Zul'jin and the Amani tribe were allied with the orcish Horde for the duration of the Second War, but Zul'jin himself was captured near its end by the Alliance.
Upon gaining his freedom he went into hiding to rebuild his army and plan an attack on the remnants of the high elves, now known as blood elves, only to find them allied with the Horde.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Zuluhed the Whacked; Orc Shaman of the Dragonmaw
zuluhedthewhacked2.png

Tagar Spinebreaker; Bonechewer Chieftian
orc1a.p

Prior to the sacking of Stormwind, Kilrogg had killed three of his sons and two grandsons already who thought they could rule the clan better.[3]
At the start of the First War, the Bleeding Hollow clan participated in the first attack on Stormwind Keep, along with the Twilight's Hammer clan, led by Cho'gall.[4] This first attack was an unmitigated disaster for the orcs, and Deadeye and Cho'gall blamed the failure on each other.
When Orgrim Doomhammer was forced to withdraw back into Khaz Modan, after sending a large part of the Horde away to kill the treacherous Gul'dan and regain the lost honor of the orcs, Deadeye was one of the few that agreed with his decision.[5] At the end of the war with the destruction of the Dark Portal and the defeat of the orcs; the aging Kilrogg refused to surrender, even after Doomhammer was captured.[6] Kilrogg escaped and managed to avoid capture of his clan by the Alliance forces.
Invasion of Draenor
Kilrogg managed to evade the Alliance for two years. He, like most of the remaining orc leaders, was summoned to the site of the Dark Portal to discover that Teron Gorefiend had reopened the portal and that the Horde had united under Ner'zhul's leadership.[7] Kilrogg's knowledge of affairs in Azeroth enabled Ner'zhul and Gorefiend to successfully plan their next move.[8] After recounting the events of the Second War to the old shaman, Kilrogg, along with his old comrades Grom Hellscream and Kargath Bladefist, led the charge back into Azeroth to steal items of power needed to aid Ner'zhul in his scheme.[9][10]

Drak'thul; Former Member of the Stormreavers
thul1.png

But his duty to his clan, and himself, demanded that he saddle his burden, especially after a human knight deprived him of half a leg.[1][2]
When she tried to starve herself, he shattered an egg before her which forced her to return to cooperation with the orc.[3]
Alexstrasza was freed by her consort Korialstrasz, and the first thing she did was dispose of Nekros, eating him alive.[4]
His son Nek'rosh survived the massacre.

Torgus; Dragonmaw Clan Dragon Rider
dragonmawdragonrider.png

Ner'zhul; Warchief of the Horde of Draenor
ner.png

Teron Gorefiend; Supreme Death Knight of the Horde of Draenor
terongorefiend2.png

Deathwing; Master of Black Dragonflight
shadowwingcopy3.png

Kargath Bladefist; Chieftain of the Shattered Hand Clan
kargathbladefist2.png

Rexxar; Mok'Nathal Beastmaster
rexxar3.png

Rexxar was one of the few orcish warriors who had been formed from a union between orcs and ogres. Rexxar was originally part of the pacifist Mok'Nathal clan, based on Draenor in the Blade's Edge Mountains, under the watchful guard of his father, Leoroxx. But their pacifist ways gave him no reason to stay, and despite his father's wishes, he joined the Horde and left through the Dark Portal. The beastmaster was accompanied by a large black wolf, Haratha, his loyal companion.

Obris; Shadowmoon Royalist to Ner'zhul
obris.png

Sabellian; Black Dragonflight Overseer
blackdragonz.png

is a black dragon, son of the black Dragon Aspect, Deathwing.

Greatmother Geyah; Great Mother of Nagrand

Blackheart; Ogre Mage of Draenor
blackheartandtharbekcop.png

Alongside Cho'gall, Blackheart the Inciter was one of the few two-headed ogres within the Shadow Council. He was dispatched alongside Vorpil to investigate Auchindoun, and remained there for many years. Till this day they remain there, tampering with cosmic forces such as Murmur. Their followers form what is known as the Cabal.
