The new Horde

I just replayed RoC orc campaign.
Man, Stonetalon peak controlled by human survivors reminded me of Blackrock spire contreolled by the orcs.
I even thought that it could have become the fortress of Allaince in Kalimdor, especially because of the tunnels inside. Man I love Stonetalon.

Plus it seems that it was controlled by a faction of Highbrone called Kelani, who were masters of magic and magical constrcuts and especially they were helped by the ley nexus in Stonetalon.
Im thinking about it that way because they had Princess Azshune and Eldre'thalas, another awesome elven country, has Prince Totheldrin. Eldre'thalas was a land of magic users, lorekeepers and master of magic researching it as noone on Azeroth has before.
But Kelani or Kelan'thalas(possible name) were a secret faction, which could has been a secret even from Aszhara, but died during the Sundering, judging by the undead in it. Anyway, it could has become an awesome fortress for Allaince.

i'm not realy sure what you are saying here. probably because i'm tired, ima read this again in the morning if i don't get it then pleas do make yourself more clear.

Im saying that if Jaina's force really were the only survivors of Lordaeron it would be cool if they made Stonetalon Peak their capital, like orcs made Blacrock Spire once.

Plus Im saying that there must have been some pretty powerful force in those dungeons where Medivh lived. Called Kelani. Those highborne were powerfull from the looks of it and the princess title only makes me sure that it was a faction or even a sub-kingdom of highborne.

Also, Stonetalon Peak seemed to be the fortress of harpies. Judging by the fact that harpies were the night elves who were blessed by goddes Aviana after they betrayed Aszhara, we can theorize that Kelani or at leats one part of them, were worshippers of Aviana. That explains the fall of Kelani - without the guidance of their goddess, harpies soon turned savage, possibly even destroying the other Kelani. However there is another way they could have been killed.

Stonetalon Chasm was possibly created during the Sundering. It seems that the ley nexus in Stonetalon Peak made it became a passive portal to Elemental Plane. We can say that because of the salamanders and revenants that are present in the caves.
So it is highly possible that it were the elementals who destroyed the rest of Kelani.

Plus it seems that red dragons were also interested in Stonetalon Peak, judging by the red dragon seen in WCIII. However what did they want there is still unknown. However since some harpies who somehow got inside were attacking it for the treasure, which is really strange. It seems that they wanted the hearth of their mistress. However they could have been defending their territory, so there could be caves in the higher parts of the Peak where they live. Still it is unknown why would a red dragon keep the hearth of Azshune with him.

Razormanes were also been seen inhabiting some parts of the caves. However most likely they were just a sect of razormanes. Plus there were various traps in that region.

Interestingly, kobolds were also seen mining in the area. Possibly they accidentally ran into the tunnel systemwhile mining.

Hey yeah that dungeon is pritty intresting.
But Im also wondering what are human mages doing in the Night Elf prison that was locked away under Mountain Hyjal???
(hey long ago ive found the campaign maps for the editor,I downloaded some and now i wanna download the rest but i cant fint the site any help?)

I am not a real fanatic on Stonetalon, nor its origin. Hell, I've never even been there in World of WarCraft. It is soon to become the site of battle between the Warsong and Silverwing, which is my main interest. However, I am quite worried about the night elves. There is a tense relationship between Fandral Staghelm and his druids and Tyrande Whisperwind and her priestesses. Could this tension scale into a civil war? Anyway, down with Fandral! Down with Garrosh!

Yeah! Well, Im not a big fan of it myself, but the dungeons intrigue me greatly.
Plus in WoW it isnt tall at all, plus it has a summit with a forest on it, where the night elves made a "settlement". It was way cooler in WCIII.

I think it's sad that there are only a few dragonriders left in the horde...It's abad thing what the dragonmaw's done to alextrasha in grim bathol but it's sad. Dragons are wery powerfull creatures and i think the orc nation should rebuild their flying armies.

Yes, but the city inside makes it a perfect citadel, plus the ley lines could be used for defence.

Razormanes wouldnt attack it, however harpies would be a problem. If they created some sort of heir own harpy breed using the eggs in the Peak they would easily defeat them.

Orcs somehow easily settled in Durotar and Jaina easily settled in a fetid marsh. Stonetalon Mountains are much better variant, plus they have connection with Ashenvale, making it easy to send air forces to and from night elves.

Horde was there earlier and have manage to gain alliance with Taurens who already where on Kalimdor wile Jaina and her troops were blind. But both settled closer to the sea because most of Kalimdor is a barren wasteland full of hostile barbaric races. As for Stonetalon peak it was claimed by Harpies so they surly have many nests there.

But they still have a fortress... ok, I lose. However night elves wouldnt be hostile, vywerns could aid Allaince in fighting the harpies, plus some harpies could even join the alliance, because they possess heart of their ancient princess - Aszhune!

Well they were serving Avaina. When she died they lost their matriarch and became savage without leadership. With the heart returned to their leader(not goddess)her spirit may guide the harpies to piece or even invoke Aviana who most likely is still alive since she's a goddess. Even if not, the heart can have some power over the harpies.

Well Stonetalon peak is a ley nexus, so one could concentrate its powers to use the heart.
Well in TFT it was strangely located in Dalaran dungeons and gave a self-heal ability.
However I dont think that it was actually brought there, because its impossible.

But part of Aszhunes soul was in it, that is the reason part of Aszune in the statue wanted it. But I guess since now both parts are united the heart is just an artifact with powers now, so this means that spirit is who needs to unite harpies as a civilized force.

But I think she, and undead Kelani who were freed from their dead bodies by Thrall can help the Alliance. Plus with the artifacts inside they will be able to summon powerfull elementals(which could has made Stonetalon Chasm and explains why there are so many salamanders and revenants in the area)and golems. Also, I think they could summon undead Kelani from the dead.

it sounds like with Garrosh coming to power of the Horde and no longer Thrall the horde may grow a little more evil...i guess in Cataclysm Garrosh already sends horde forces to crush the alliance...bombing...troops...you name it...and i guess Ashenvale is even further cut down by Warsong lumberers...and Orgrimmar is going to be rebuilt in Dark Metal...hmmm...Thrall also becomes neutral!

Agreed...I guess Thrall becomes neutral after you free him in the Goblin beginning area in WoW Cataclysm u free Thrall from the alliance... >.>
Garrosh is trying to live up to his fathers expectations probably...he may think everyone expects him to live up to his fathers awesomeness when in reality nobody is expecting anything of him...he really needs to be talked into sense...possibly some closure between him and Thrall...hm?

Hm... good point, good point. But can they... oh yeah, they cant. Well good thing that they promised they wont do it with Starcraft. I wouldnt want to see a dungeon where some nerds who have no life go and kill Kerrigan or some kind of New New Overmind screaming "I R DA 1337EST!"

Also, Me'dan isn't like in any way descendant from a chieftain, etc.

Nazgrel would be good.

That's a stupid idea to kick the B.Elves and the Forsaken out, since the Forsaken are valuable allies and are currently in control by Thrall, since Undercity is currently held by the Korkron Guard, following the usurpation of Varimathras.
