Snaketails 0.99s

Gameplay
It's just Snake but in warcraft III.
Slide around and pick up food. Let the tail grow. Kill your opponents

There are 3 modes:
+ Points
+ Kills
+ Wins

Points: a win gives 3 points, a kill 1 point, a suicide -1
Kills: Kill as many opponents as you can (again, suicide is -1 kill)
Wins: Last man standing

The "snake head" is ordered via right-click.

Feel free to edit the map as you wish. No need to give credits.

The hero names are friends I used to play with back when I created the map.
The map is a bit older (2017 or so) but I decided to upload it finally.

The map doesn't load on the latest patch. It gives an error that it's corrupted.
Please fix.

Awaiting Update.

EDIT: on second thought, there seems to be an error when I try to load any map since I played a campaign.
Solved it by deleting some folders related to Warcraft III under Documents.

Back to Pending.

Quite a nice slide snake map. Definitely could use various game modes and arenas.

Approved.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Hey, thank you for your positive feedback! Really appreciate it :)

To your feedback: there could definately be more areas.
About the modes: I'm not really sure what to add besides teleporting borders.
Also this would take quite a bit of work and I'm really not sure if it's worth it. As it's a very unique map which only a handfull of people will play anyway :(
cheers
