Overview:
The Nation of Rinascita was once an Imperial riviera for the rich, the greedy, and the proud Imperial residents within this lustrous town. But it hides a darker past... A disgraced native named Belial Avelana, fed up for being oppressed by years of Imperial rule started a rebellion by summoning the dead and the forbidden cult group that will change forever. Among the rebels is Cassandra Belatir, a notable cult member and mother of Sofia Belatir, participated the rebellion. Unfortunately, the zombified rebels were defeated by the Imperial Occupation Forces and executed Avelana in the process. Only a handful of cultists, managed to survive via stolen Imperial transports, which was the plan for Cassandra to unite with her husband in Kaloria. Years passed and from the ashes of humiliating defeat, Sofia Belatir, now as an Arynetian veteran who fought alongside with Gaius Visceral and Varus Kolador of Halovia defeated Cardinal Maculata's rebellious forces that attempted to overthrow General Arthur Ramirez and after the war and the Republic divided, Belatir herself separated from Visceral's group by venturing back to Imperial-occupied Rinascita to fulfill her late parents' wish... This darker Republic army comprised of Arynetian veterans, loyalist dead, and Skeletal figures to overthrow the Imperial occupation and establish a Republic nation in Avelana's name.

Pros:
  • Rinascitan combat units gain health and attack speed (up to 27 kills) by earning Ascension Rank
  • Rinascitan heroes gain armor bonus and damage (up to 5 kills) by earning Absolute Unit.
  • Rinascitan structures (Except Necropolis) must be built on blighted ground.
  • Revitalizing Death doubles the life regen of all Rinascitan units when on blighted ground.
  • Necropolises and Ziggurats generate resources, but at a mediocre state.
  • When Rinascitan heroes die and then revived, they remain in Absolute Unit status.
Cons:
  • Rinascitan combat units lose Ascension Rank status upon death, but can be expendable.

Buildings:
1. Necropolis - Primary structure, used to train Zombie Workers and receive gathered resources. Can be upgraded to Keep and then Dark Fortress to enable the production of additional types of structures and units.
2. Rinascitan Ziggurat - All in one purposed structure. Provides food, which increases the maximum number of units that can be trained. Has the Replenish Mana and Life ability. Can gain the Ziggurat Well Spring and Extended Beam upgrade. Regenerates mana both day at night. It also acts as a defensive structure.
3. Barracks - Primary troop production building. Trains Legionaries, Archers, Crossbowmen, and Knight Raiders. Also contains the Defend, Unholy Projectiles Training, Advanced Marksmanship, and Animal War Training upgrades.
4. Altar of Vengeance - Summons heroes and revives slain heroes.
5. Lumber Mill - Serves as a drop-off point for harvested lumber. Also contains the upgrades for Masonry, Ziggurat Well Spring, and Attack Bounty.
6. Rinascitan Blacksmith - Contains upgrades for improved armor, weaponry. Also has Avelana's Rage and Enhanced Beam upgrade.
7. Plague Lab - Trains Necromancers, Fae Temptresses, and Doom Slayers. Also contains spell upgrades for Necromancers and Fae Temptresses, Execute, Magic Sentry, Skeletal Longevity, and Skeletal Marksmanship.
8. Workshop of Horrors - Trains Mortar Teams and Arcane Golems. Also contains the Flare, Poison Shards, and Fist of Chaos upgrades.
9. Blood Hawk Nest - Trains Gryphon Decimators and Blood Hawks. Also contains the Inertia Axe and Bloodrazor Feathers upgrades.
10. Shadow Tower - Support tower. Provides life regeneration to nearby buildings. Can learn the Magic Sentry ability and contains the Caster Cloaking Mastery upgrade.
11. Soul Vault - Creates a shop with purchasable items.

Units:
1. Zombie Servant - Basic worker unit. Can harvest gold and lumber, summons Rinascitan structures and Repair.
2. Legionary - Versatile foot soldier with Revitalizing Death, which doubles the life regeneration when on blighted area. Can learn the Defend ability.
3. Archer - Basic long-ranged attacker with Revitalizing Death, which doubles the life regeneration when on blighted area. Can learn Unholy Arrows, Black Arrows and Advanced Marksmanship upgrade.
4. Crossbowman - Advanced ranged attacker with Revitalizing Death, which doubles the life regeneration when on blighted area. Very effective against units with Heavy Armor. Can learn Unholy Bolts which is very effective against units with Light Armor and Advanced Marksmanship upgrade.
5. Knight Raider - Powerful mounted warrior with Revitalizing Death, which doubles the life regeneration when on blighted area. Exceptional at destroying structures. Can learn Animal War Training.
6. Necromancer - Essential spellcaster. Can initially cast Raise Dead on corpses. Can also learn Dispel Magic and Unholy Fury.
7. Fae Temptress - Utilized spellcaster. Can initially cast Total Silence, which prevent enemy units to use attacks and spells. Can also learn Healing Remembrance and Forked Death.
8. Doom Slayer - Advanced foot soldier with Revitalizing Death, which doubles the life regeneration when on blighted area. Can cast Marked for Death and Execute ability. Can also learn the Defend ability.
9. Arcane Golem - Heavy frontline assault unit. Immune to spells and can also learn Taunt.
10. Mortar Team - Long-range siege weaponry. Exceptional damage versus buildings, but slow and vulnerable. Can learn the Poison Shards and Flare abilities.
11. Gryphon Decimator - Powerful flying creature, mounted by an ascended Dwarven axe-thrower. Can learn Animal War Training, and the Inertia Axe upgrade.
12. Blood Hawk - Fast-flying creature, excel at scouting. Can learn Animal War Training, and the Bloodrazor Feathers upgrade.

Heroes:
1. Dark General - Warrior Hero, exceptional at survivability and damage dealing. Can learn Chain of Pain, Dark Charge, Havoc Aura, and Falchion Armor.
2. Executioner - Warrior Hero, adept at crowd control and prioritize single target attacks. Can learn Axe Throw, War Stomp, Cleaving Attack, and Vampiric Slash.
3. Rinascitan Ranger - Cunning Hero, adept at single target damage and area debuff. Can learn Silence, Cold Arrows, Multishot, and Infernal Bombardment.
4. Warrior Nun - Mystical Hero, adept at support and life restoration. Can learn Unholy Light, Cleansing Sin, Brilliance Aura and Unholy Revival.

Rinascitan heroes killed up to 5 enemy units, they gained an "Absolute Unit" status, which increases armor and damage bonus.

0 Kills - Sergeant
3 Kills - Lieutenant (5 HP and 0.05 ATK Speed)
6 Kills - Captain (10 HP and 0.1 ATK Speed)
9 Kills - Major (15 HP and 0.15 ATK Speed)
12 Kills - Lieutenant Colonel (20 HP and 0.2 ATK Speed)

  • Dark General's Dark Charge ability has been fixed thanks to Rheiko.
  • Rinascitan Ranger's Cold Arrow ability has replaced with Armor-Melting Shock Grenade and Infernal Bombardment has been changed to Starfall mode.
  • Added new ability, Erudition Barrier for Knight Raiders. Grants temporary armor bonus and restores 100HP.
  • Blue Sacred Guard, Fel Rain of Fire, and Chain Grenades are belong to Vinz.
  • Fire Shield Icon is belong to Darkfang.
  • Shock Icon belong to Panda.
  • Auto-casting abilities (Raise Dead, Replenish Life and Mana, Marked for Death, and Unholy Arrows) remains the same.
  • Black Arrows are removed.

Dark Charge doesn't work properly. Tried it on a critter. The target died, the hero went to his right rather than toward the target and got locked without being controllable anymore. The fast movement FX remained where the spell was cast.
Having more autocast abilities on one unit doesn't help since they can't be used sequentially even.
Balance is also dubious and the faction resembles the one commented on earlier quite a lot.

No matter, I’ll fix the dark charge ability and lower the damage. Plus, I’ll be making an upcoming custom campaign right now based on this custom race map.

  • Added the Call to Arms ability on Necropolises that turns Zombie Servants to Zombie Militias
  • Added a new trigger, when a Rinascitan combat unit dies (except campaign units and heroes) refunds 50% of the resources back to the owner of a dying unit.
P.S. do not use Dark Charge on an obstacle or blocked path, which may cause a hero to move uncontrollably.
