About the contest? No way. Just post it with a screenshot and attach it. That's it.

OH!... I made it (breathes heavily).
Well the model is done but I have a little problem.
In my death alternate animation I have a particle. But in order to limit it to one I have to put it on emission rate 8 for 0.1 second to ensure the best result. But the only problem is that it doesn't show the first time I play the animation, and the first time is the time it plays when the unit dies. So I increased the emission rate to 10 so that it always shows, but every 6th or 7th time I play it the particle count LEAPS up to 2.
What I'm trying to say is that I hope it can be allowed since you really don't play the death alternate anim twice in game. The unit will be dead afterwards so there will only be one particle.

Find a place where you don't need ploies and shirk it down? If you got any flat planes, use a two sided material instead of an whole extra set of polies?

shaman, i think you could spare to use more triangles to make it look more rounder, especially at the top part

Well the two sided material thing is not really new and I have already spent some time cutting down on polies in order to finish the mesh. But now that you mention it there might be 4 polies I can remove.

At first sight it's awesome but...it's weird when looking closely. First of all the position of its wings while standing looks very bad. With only 2 squares these wings shouldn't bend like that, it looks pointy and paper-like.
Also, the animations aren't smooth. I think it's because they are linear... TCB looks much smoother...
In addition there's a bad resolution conflict between the wings and the body. But that can't be efficiently changed, so it's ok. And you forgot attachments, at least Overhead, Origin and Chest Refs.
Anyhow, this model is pretty funny and cool, thumbs up.

Well the wing problem can easily be explained.
About the animations I would like to know what the hell TCB is.
    I'll fix the attatchments

I'm complaining about the wings position, not geometry. They look bad that way they are, upwards. Maybe if you don't bend them like that, they will look much better, still with 2 polies. =)

Oh, sorry, TCB is a 3dsmax term I guess. It's non-linear. I guess it's Bezier. But the anims are fine. Linear anims are what make it be 38kb big.

Havent posted in a while. I wanna join this, but I've gotta get milkshape on my new laptop up at school. Can you still download it from the internets?

Also, I don't have Wc3 on the computer. Will I need an in game SS, or will a model viewer one do alright?
