I'm only a slightly interested in joining. I'm below average in general (4v4, team games), but just really bad in 1v1.

A personal hosting bot would be nice indeed. It should be better than public bots we can use from MakeMeHost or ENT, but it won't be necessary.

Ah, I think you should elaborate more on your ideas but state that you're open to change. That way, more people will be attracted, but won't be turned off by anything specific.

There have been minor melee tournaments on Hive before. They usually just use a standard bracket, and everyone is allowed to play. That seems to be the easiest way to do things in this community, since we're not filled with serious ladder contenders. So I voted in No Price Pool + No buy in fee.

Could be an interesting idea, tho i doubt we have enough descent melee players in HIVE
