Heroes of Evil

6 player cooperative map that falls somewhere between a Hero Survival and an RPG. The Idea is that you play as a group of malevolent Heroes who have been tracked down by the forces of light and you must fight your way out of your own stronghold. Designed to require teamwork and variety of roles.

Playable in reforged or classic but the sizing of some units will be off in classic.

Custom Heroes
-Players can choose between (currently) 18 custom Heroes that fill various roles (Tank, DPS, Support).

3 Difficulties
-Player 1 can select between Easy, Hard, and Impossible difficulties which affect enemy unit stats like attack speed, move speed, and max health.

Compare this to Warchasers which came with varied gameplay mechanics.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Thalorien doesn't have glow.
Seemed his model in Reforged has glow but classic does not. Regardless, fixed (both should have glow now).


Generally, super reliant on Warcraft III original material with repetitive gameplay. Also, quite short. There is some replayability value and it's multiplayer but these advantages dissipate quickly after a few playthroughs.
Compare this to Warchasers which came with varied gameplay mechanics
Map now slightly longer. Added several new sections to give map some different varied/different mechanics including a section where players must use boats to destroy enemy cannons before it is safe to dock, a ravine where players must dodge falling rocks while breaking through the ravine, and a hidden cave with a puzzle to solve.

Many skills have new icons.

When time permits next goals will be to keep making map longer and make boss fights have more interesting mechanics.
