Guitar Hero Project Alpha v0.2
by JJoules
Gameplay
This is not the full intended experience, but rather an Alpha build of my Guitar Hero Project, made in the Warcraft III engine. It is intended to be a proof-of-concept.
Colored notes will appear near the top of the screen and move downward. The object of the game is to hit the notes as they cross the bottom to play the guitar in time with the song.
To hit a note, you must hold the fret that matches its color and then strum as it crosses the bottom. There are also smaller notes, called hammer-ons and pull-offs (HOPO's) which do not require you to strum if you hit the note before it, however, you still need to hit the note on time.
Some notes will come at the same time, and must be played at the same time. These notes are called "chords". For single notes, you may hold all the frets that are below it (green to orange) and still hit it, however, for chords, you must hold exactly the notes that are indicated.
Currently, it can
ONLY be played in
Expert mode. No Fail mode has been enabled to make it possible for non-Expert players.
