Alright, here are the Deciples.

Deciples are divided into two main groups; Harvesters and Refiners. Harvesters collect raw materials, and Refiners process these materials into new Necrons and the various structures the Necrons use.

HARVESTERS

DRILLERS
9 meters long
Drillers are vaugely insectoid; they have four legs sprouting from the main body, with a head sporting plenty of powerful sensors and an abdomen with a drill on the end. Thier flight consists of engines on the main body. The sensors on the head enable them to see through many materials and find the resources they need. After drilling to the needed resource, they will pick up the resource and deposit in the "abdomen," which serves as a storage hold. They will then carry thier loads to Carriers.

CARRIERS
45 meters long
Carriers take the harvested loads of Drillers and brings them to the Leviathans. Other than this they are unremarkable.

LEVIATHANS
500 meters long
The enormous Leviathans are the largest Necrons in existance. They serve as the carriers of raw materials between harvest worlds and the Refiner caste. They are almost entirely cargo holds, with only the cenral brain and engines taking up any other space. While not very armored and often unarmed, they can carry unstable substances and have been known to violently detonate under heavy fire.

I'ts time for me to retire to bed right now, so I will expand on the Deciples at a later date.

Though a planet, it was hollowed out then the inside became the ship with the core as power source. The whole thing took 10 years to complete.

Took 10 years for the Chozo to build the Solar Mining Station non stop. The mining station is a shell around the sun. So, to build a moon-size ship within a planet, you would need a lot of resources, and a way to keep the core from melting materials while you built the ship around it. You would have a problem once the core cooled or was drained of providing power. Besides, how would you use it as power? Thermal power? Kinda hard to keep it heated once the planet has been hollowed.

So... what kind of weapons would it have just to kill a Kraken, and how the heck does it take over the bio-metal materials that form the Kraken's hull? Seeing as it isn't biometal itself, (from what I read) I cannot see how it could steal the material from the Kraken's control. Honestly, I still think my race could take it with ease. Slow moving, lots of bombs and beams, I could swarm it with drones. Unless, of course, it steals those too. >_> As well as anything that gets close enough >_> But that would be cheap. :p I would have to issue my ultimatum and have you refuse if I was to destroy it. XD

Crazy Cow: Interesting. Detonating under heavy fire. Sounds like fun. :p Like any gas miners in the Black Sun fleets (supposing they have fuel collected) I have to wonder how the drillers can drill witht he drill on the abdomen, as well as how they collect the materials into the abdomen.

My god speed posting. And I love how yall totally ignore everything. Anyway.

It would most likely be a weakling in comparison with the real Kraken and considering they lived in the heart of the old empire for a long time before their planet was reduced to ruin, they went mad, and they went on universal domination mode. There would probably be a chance of old blue prints, technolgy, archives, ruins of forges or even whole ones available. Even with that there resource base would be low and the technology would be conserved to capital ships, large ships, and special weapons.

Yes, Monstrosities are a world event, and God-mod counter.

In this case, I'm defending that status :p, considering that we now have a time-bending, Holisian God-mod situation, which is attempting to counter my counter-measure.

In the case of Gath's proposed Monstrosity building, I would say that it is on equal level with a Laminari capital craft in terms of strength, which, would be even still considerably less, and smaller, than a Kraken, or other Monster.

The thing about The Kraken, is that it is only one of many, and The Kraken is an 'individual' so to speak.

There are many more...

The Beast, The Behemoth, The Leviathan...

Some of them, like The Leviathan, are larger, and have even more experience than the youngling Kraken.

Deep in the nebula of the long forgotten crossroad in space, The Leviathan lurks, the veteran of many wars, a girdle of wreckage spanning out, like the rings of a forlorn planet, a crown of many halos, orbiting the brow of Death's angel.

The thing is, that even if the Gromar were moon sized, and capable of taking a Monster...(which I seriously doubt in all logic)

During the time that The Gromar would have been operational as a planet sized vessal, the gathering of multiple moon sized monsters would have ripped the planet-ship apart due to the gravitational pull alone. (which the Laminari would have been very keen to take advantage of)

Even despite the nine million servants (cherubim, seraphim) present in the bays of each of the Monsters, Laminari war vessals, and the arrow class fighter craft to escort them, in a fully functioning, and wide spread empire of highly trained non-wandering warlike Laminari...

Along with the capital ships...

meh......

(and I still don't think we should mess with time, that is a very grey area, that is I would deem, off limits...as it opens too many doors for inconsistency, and anti-realism)

(and hello!)

sadly. Sol used it on me. A Time dilation field to save his fleet from my massive array of lasers. Still, I managed to cut down a majority of his ships. :p But, I did remind him of it.

Supposedly, his entire home galaxy is entrapped in a time dilation field,a nd his ships are immune to the effects through a temporal shield >_> I have yet to figure out how that could work, as one does not mess with time.

I don't think we should be messing with time. When Solmaster attacked var, he put up a time shield, slowing down all projectiles next to the Holis ships. Var continued to attack, building up a wall of energy. When the wall dropped so the ships could leave, the energy flooded at them in an instant.

var, not to mention it would need a lot of energy. their sun would die pretty quickly. and we all know replacing a sun would destroy the system.

All it needs is a sample of their technology, and it can screw with time. But, being insane, it might not use it, if the player is lucky. :p

Sacrid, the attacks would come out at the exact same rate they went in. Unless, of course, time stopped for a moment, then it could become a wall. And by the time time returned to normal, they would be murdered by a wall of their own making. The last thing they see will be a great light! :p

Time however, cannot stop the warp ripper of a Kraken.

Since, it isn't a particle, or anything in regards to matter being shot at it.

IE: matter existing in the 3 dimensional portion of space, such as light (lasers) might be affected by a time dilation field...

But tearing the dimensions of space itself through a warp ripper IE: ripping 3d itself, will not be affected by any tampering with the 4th dimension (time).

The Kraken holds the major weakness of Time-field weaponry, or shielding. And...last I checked, shared that weapon with the rest of his monstrosity buddies across the channels that link the fortresses.

Time...is obsolete.

I don't have any ideas for the Deciples, so I'm moving to the Angels.
ANGELS
Angels fall under two broad categories; Scientific or Support. Scientific Angels are responsible for furthering Necron technologies, but Support Angels are much more varied. All Angels have the same basic appearance; a main body, about three meters long, housing a multitude of tools and sensors, as well as engines for flight, and then four long limbs, each another three meters long, with multiple segments for flexibility.

Scientific Angels explore new parts of the Milky Way galaxy, and interact with new races to gather information on thier technology. They are always testing new materials, trying diffrent mixtures for the most durable or flexible result.
Current Projects:
EMP Shielding
EMP weapons pose a serious threat to Necron fleets, and the Angels hope to come up with devices to resist them. By studying those that The Machine is equipped with, they have come up with prototype shields that reflect EMP's, but they are horribly expensive and unreliable.
Plasma Technology
Most Necrons are vulnerable to the extreme heat needed to keep plasmain it's plasma state. They have come up with a new, heat-resistant metal flexible enough for use in Necron bodies, but the needed materials are rare, and therefore only a few prototype Gunships have been outfitted with experemental plasma weapons.

Support Angels are used to aid either Necrons or allied races in a multitude of tasks, from supervising Deciple work to repairing damage. Devil fleets are often accompanied by Support Angels that combat fires and provide repairs after battles, although in-combat repairs are too risky to undertake. They can also be found on allied worlds, sharing Necron technologies and aiding in everything from food production to relief efforts following natural disastors.

Well, the final and easiest caste is here: the Prophets.

Prophets are usually humanoid, but are individually made to resemble the race they are communicating with. They have no arms or equipment other than their vast language processing.

EDIT: I have another idea for a race.

RACE NAME: Medusa
PHYSICAL DISCRIPTION: Medusa are serpentine, about three meters long and two high, when reared up (imagine a Naga Myrmidon). In addition, they have four small limbs ending in a hook forming a frill around thier heads. These limbs are a foot (.3 meters) long, are very flexible and mobile, and while theye have a limited capacity to manipulate objects they are very good at stabbing. They have no other natural limbs, but fairly recently they have aquired the ability to implant robotic arms to allow the functions most humanoids have. Medusa are green, brown or black in coloration.
There are several rare breeds of Medusa that have features most other Medusa don't. There are the Wyvren, who have large bat-like wings that enable flight, who usually end up as military leaders. There are Hydra, who instead of having the limbs most Medusa have sport four extra heads, each with it's own will and personality. The control of the body, however, falls to the dominant head, and if it dies so do the others. This does not work in reverse. Hydra, like Wyvren, most often choose a military career instead of a social one. Then, there are Albino Medusa, who have pale white skin and red eyes, due to the lack of skin pigment. They are rumored to have contact with the spiritual world, and while this is most likely just superstition, Albino Medusa always take high political and social roles, and are at the top of the social chain.

HISTORY
Long ago, on the jungle world of Gorgonsa, there was a race of humanoid ampibions. These amphibions were very religious, and at the core of thier religion was an animal they called a Medusa. It began with tamed Medusa saving villages from raiding enemies, or rescuing lost people, and as the amphibion's culture and intelligence grew the Medusa remained a core part of thier life. As they progressed through technology and society, the Medusa began to form an intelligence of thier own. At the time that the amphibions were beginning to launch exploration missions into space, the Medusa were just beginning to form a language of thier own - and were changing the way that thier race interacted with thier worshippers. Thier worshippers aided them at every turn, guiding thier newborn intelligence to accellerate much more quickly than the Medusa could have done on thier own. There was, however, a large barrier between the Medusa and the vast technologies thier worshippers used - their serpentine bodies lacked the limbs nescesary(?) to operate most of the technology used by the humanoids. The two races immediatly set out to solve the problem, and the eventual solution came with new advances in robotics. After a few failed prototypes, the first pair of robotic limbs was successfully implanted on a Medusa. Soon, Medusa all across the planet were interacting with thier humanoid worshippers like never before, and the two races thrived together.
Then came a great calamity. It began with a lost space exploration party, and ended with the near destruction of Gorgonsa and it's colonies by a space-faring race much more advanced than the Medusa and thier worshippers, who simply called themselves Raiders in proximity to any race other than thier own. After razing most of the settlements on Gorgonsa and completely destroying it's outlying colonies, the raiders came and began mining resources from the planet, killing even more survivors in the process. The Medusa managed to survive with a few outposts in far-flung corners of the planet, but their worshippers were driven too far by the raiders - and therefore fell into extinction. The Medusa now lead a gurilla(?) war against their antagonists, fighting to liberate thier planet - and to avenge the deaths of thier centuries-long friends. After nearly six decades of combat and strife, the two races are locked in a stalemate, each failing to win any serious battles against the other. The Medusa have managed to send ships of settlers out into space to attempt to colonize other planets in case the Medusa on Gorgonia fail, and to search for something to turn the tide of the war on the Raiders. They have re-colonized two of the three colonies they previously had on other planets, without notice of any Raiders, and have set up small - but functional - settlements. There are around a dozen individual ships travelling the stars, seeking anything to bring back to Gorgonsa to help in the war.

LEADER: Bahamut, an Albino Hydra.

MILITARY: Because they are extremely overpowered by Raider space-faring ships, they focus on overwhelming ground-based tactics and avoiding space combat as much as possible. The decades they have spent fighting Raiders have given rise to only the best evasion and escape tactics - because all others have been crushed. They are scrambling to find something that can turn the tide on the Raiders, but can only guess at what the Raiders are trying to bring to bear on them.

RAIDERS: Raiders are humanoid, proportioned like a human in most aspects. However, their military forces never reveal any of themselves to enemies, and are therefore known only by thier formidable full-body black and red armor. Any attempts to capture a Raider for interrigation has failed, from suicide or a timely Raider strike. Therefore, the Medusa can only envision the cold helmets of thier enemies, which doesn't settle well with the Medusa - they want to know exactly who slaughtered thier people, and know on a deeper level the face of thier enemy.

The construction thread is oftenly only used when the OOC: gets too crowded in the Roleplaying thread =D.

Ah, that explains it.

MILITARY TECHNOLOGY (Medusa)
Because the Medusa don't go for space combat, they have several technologies to avoid blockades and space battles.

INVISIBILITY
Many ships are equipped with a complicated set of invisibility armor. Composing of hundreds of photo-receptors, these plates constantly update the plates on the other side with a video feed, creating a decent camoflauge that can fool most eyes.

THERMAL SHIELD
This secondary shield has the temperature of the surrounding space, fooling heat sensors. Moving in front of an object such as a sun or a ship without this shielding will give it away. This thermal shield, however, can reflect lasers or, to a lesser extent, plasma weapons, making Medusa ships much less vulnerable to these weapons.

EMP SHIELDING
As a third layer of armor, Medusa ships have a layer blended metal that can reflect most radiation, including electromagnetic radiation, protecting the inner workings of the ship from those weapons. The camoflauge and thermal shielding, however, is still vulnerable to EMP's.

EMP WEAPONS
If push comes to shove, most ships are armed with EMP weapons, from short-wave bursts to long-range missiles to take out enemy ships. Thier own ships are immune to EMP weapons because of thier EMP shielding.

POWERFUL ENGINES
Utilizing a cycle of fission and fusion, these engines are very powerful, making Medusa ships very, very fast. The lack of heavy weaponry and armor makes sudden accelleration for Medusa ships much easier than others.

Name: Savevas
Home Planet: Relos (Dead)
Controlled Planets: Asteroids in warp and quantum space.
Life Span: 1000
Government: The Great kingdom
Leader: King Kel'thos Ma'Dride
Description: Beings who accended the normal space. Energy who were remade flesh. Sliver skinned, winged, humaniod.
Other/History: During the beginning, the Savevos traveled the young stars.
They became energy beings and ascend to hyper space. There they became legends of old ships that wonder the warp and quantum. These legends are still legend because anyone who try to follow them becomes lost to the spaces. They keep them selves hidden as a whole but send send scouts under the guise of a race call Drakion. these fill find worthy people to give items of power. These are tech that is has powerful tools.
All tech is based around organics and enhancements with robotics. The Savevas were very powerful warriors in the past but now they have no warriors. This is replaced by other professions.

Final entry before I start RP'ing.
MEDUSA GROUND ARMIES

WEAPON TECHNOLOGY
Medusa have come up with a host of weapons to take on threats, from air compressors to exploding shrapnel.

AIR COMPRESSION ROUNDS
The most common weapons found on Medusa infantry use air-compressor rifles. These rifles have no ammunition - instead, they take air from the surrounding environment and compress it as densely as possible. This air is then released from the barrel at high speeds, and has the force of a lead slug from 15 meters away. Any more than that, however, lessens the impact of the rounds until it is useless, at around 30 meters. Instead of carrying extra ammunition around with them, they wait for more air to be compressed, at about one round per second. Both pistol sidearms and automatic rifles use this technology.

PROJECTILES
Because air compression has minimal effect at long range, Medusa turn to magnetic acceleration for ranged weapons. Composed of electromagnets and a magnetic round, these rifles can be very accurate, even at long distances. The rounds, however, are larger than average and can only be carried at about 20 rounds per rifle. This technology is also used in explosive weapons, but with a long tube instead of a rifle. Launching an explosive grenade out of the tube, these can have one of several effects:
Shrapnel - a core of explosives, surrounded by a large amount of metal staples and then the outer shell of the grenade. When it explodes, it sends a wave of deadly shrapnel in every direction.
Anti-Armor Shrapnel - the same basic principle as shrapnel, but these staples are larger and have an explosive core. After embedding themselves in a wall, tank or unlucky foot soldier, they detonate, with obvious results.
Only three rounds can be carried for a single launcher, due to the size of one.

INFANTRY
No army is complete without infantry. Medusa going out on tail fall into one of several categories:

COBRA
These Medusa don't bother with ranged weapons - they tear thier opponents apart with thier formidable natural weapons and robotic limbs.

VIPER
Vipers are the most plentiful Medusa infantry, weilding one of their many weapons against enemies.

COMMANDO
Equipped with the same camoflauge technology as Medusa ships, Commandos are used for assassinations and sabotauge. They travel in groups of five, and carry amongst them every weapon available to counter any threats.

TANKS
Utilizing the tried-and-true tank treads for motion, and a rotating turret armed with various weapons, tanks have changed little over the history of the Medusa. They can carry larger versions of any Medusa weapon technology found on infantry.

That will be good enough to start the RP, I think. Comments are greatly appreciated.

Again sol, way to overpowering race, a race that has technology to live in warp space? I dont think so, ships need thick hulls to even attempt to get through warp space and since when are astroids in warp space? Warp space is basicly ships traveling at light speed... Quantum space is even more complex than that... In the games Ive played that have had Quantum space tunnels (Supreme Commander) No astroids were in the tunnels because they were created by man, no astroids could possibly enter it.

The idea came to me, we haven't any clue what lives in those spaces. That race is my answer. Yes asteroids can enter warp space and quantum space, we make the enterance ways and shoot the rock into those spaces. The thing I haven't worked out is the gravity wells.

honestly, it's more believable with subspace, as that is simply a tunnel that dips into another plane, and curves space into a rounded surface to cut travel time. You could even turn around like it was normal space. :p It's just... harder to get back :p

As for warp... it's up and down, no left or right. :/ Ship integrity fails on side to side. Too much strain. :p So, though I can believe some form of energy being living in warp, it'd have evolved there, and be very, very rare, due to the intense speeds they travel at, and the size of space. So, using that as a species isn't the best option. They wouldn't have any resources to build ship, or cities, or anything. they'd be simple creatures, and normal space would likely kill them, having evolved in the high-vibration of warp. (traveling very fast, the lack of movement in normal space would be like having your organs freeze in time. You can try breathing, but the air won't get to the lungs due to the speed they are working at.) So, due to physiology, they'd be screwed :p

So, no warp-origin sentient races for us. :p They'd be shrimp anyway XD

ShadowDemonLord is correct. the high speed friction would destroy them. Oh to read science. :p I knew it'd benifit me. :p And people wonder why I read scifi XD

Warp space isn't even a different sort of realm or universe. "Warp" travel is specifically this:

"The universe is an ocean: Warp is the waves."

The Kraken and Laminari travel via warp, but do so akin to a surfer riding a tide, or a surfer diving into the waters through a wave tunnel.

"Warp space" doesn't exist.

The jasid are space vampires that my friend created. They are smart but not really powerful. No super strength, super fast and super hearing. They are more like faster healing and enhanced senses. They are living so they have a live span. Also they can have children.

Traveler and Journey man he made this race in but I make it in the thread preferred way.

Here's part of it because I'm still translating it from badly written German.
Name: Jasid
Home Planet: Dalus
Controlled Planets: Dalus system - 4 planets
Life Span: 1000
Government: Clans
Leader: Clan Lords
Description: Pale humanoids with red eyes and flesh like wings. They feed on blood to survive. They can have children. They have faster healing and enhanced senses.
Other/History: They were born on Dalus when one of them went blood thirsty. The Jasid became more and more blood thirsty. The normal population went under ground or to the other 3 planets in the system. The Jasid became less blood thirsty and more cunning. They herded up the normal and started to breed them. They have 3 clans under one clan banner. The banner is of the clan Dalus. They are the most feared because they have no remorse in them.
Clan Dalus- In charge of every little detail of all clans.
Clan Ronus- Warriors and raiders, they deal with warfare.
Clan Maldal- They are in charge of keeping the food in stock.
Clan Crolus- The engineers and scientists that keep the machines from exploding.

Solmaster, I'd say no. Part of the problem is because they are vampires. Another is that they would get shot down before they even boarded any enemy vessels. Any ship that was disabled would blow itself up just to help starve those freaks. The fact that you want to add mythical creatures to a scifi RP doesn't help any. Besides, how many bad movies are there that have things like that. Put in something that just doesn't work into space. I know there was one movie where an alien went around town drawing people's blood and carrying them in a suitcase, instead of biting them and drinking their blood that way. please, if anything, I think we should make your race. You seem to love your psychcis too much and can't keep from over powering or ruinging a race. And besides, I don't think everyone should go to var anyway.

You do make sense, but what i have is not psychos in that way. It more like if i do then i won't be playing RPs at all. I was grown up to think anyone who goes out of line should be corrected in any means necessary. But I have gone past that.
