A sims style rpg: get a job, earn gold, maybe even get married and buy a house.

Of course you have to watch out for the local drug lord, the mafia, and dont break any laws or the police will come get you 8)

I don't find DotA very interesting.. It's kinda boring.. Does it even have any quests?

Strangely I've never played dota, Every game is dl=kick and I've yet to get the map.

Although with a hosting attitude like that I dont really want to play it.

One other thing is, not a lot of people are playing the most up to date version (I see a lot of versions in the 3s) I think what we should do is advertise the most recent version more......

My favourite WC3 map would probably be Emerald Garden.

Modded map, maybe Footmen Wars.

Favorite map must be either Maze of the Damned or Battleships Pro 1.187

Other maps close to those 2 is Day of the Cow TD, Soldier TD & DotA Allstars (waits to get flamed)

hmm....mauls have always been a great love of mine. Yeah, right now, Wintermaul (FB 4.0 or Reborn or X9 or any classic version), Warcraft Maul, Starwars Maul!!!!!!!! etc. Halo TD, Blizzard TD, Skibi TD, WH 40k TD, Day of the Cow TD, Rockets and Lazers TD, Wintermaul Wars, Owlman wars. I also enjoy playing Angel Arena and Hell Vs. Hraven, even though both of them have their imbalances in some way or another. I enioy Footmen wars! Footmen Frenzy, Starwars Footmen, LOTR Footies!!!, Footmen Insane, Footmen GOD, Halo 2 Footies, etc. It's ALL good.

heres the flame ragingspeedhorn. DOTA IS SO OVERBLOWN. ihateitihateitihateitihateitihateitihateitihateitihate. There are ALWAYS at least 8 of them being hosted at once and it makes me so mad because MUCH better maps could be hosted in their place that I would actually desire to play. I can't stand it.

I play decent mauls. there are hordes and hordes of crappy maul maps that are to horrible for anyone to host, let alone anyone plays. I play the best

No good mauls have ever been made, mauls are for the scum of BNet, the bottom of the foodchain, the morons which cannot say anything without it being with capital letter, that is the people that plays mauls

wintermaul? there are plenty of good mauls. like my maul. i'll agree that some of the people you get in your maul games are total idiots, but dota drwas a far larger crowd, thus there must be a much larger population of idiots playing dota, just based on the number of idiots per normal people average. as the number of people playing goes up, so does te number of idiots. damn them idiots. TD's are great though, so no complaining

well without wintermaul, the original concept never would have been made. it's like saying that all TD's are a rip off of blizzard TD. Well, without that one game to start te genre, all of the others would never exist.

Now that I'm over my outburst, seriously dude, Azure TD was the first td made and it was made for the map competition that Blizzard had when they were releasing The Frozen Throne. Check your facts before you speak in futre.

glad you corrected me, regardless you just proved my point. Every map in a genre originates from the original map created that introduced the genre, in this case, it's azure td. So it would be like saying ever TD ever created ripped off Azure TD. and it's not true.

Actually it IS true, every map in the TD genre ripped off Azure TD, just no one cares 'cause there are a lot of good TD's out there, but with mauls there are very, very few good ones out there.

indeed. I wll totaqlly agree with you there, which is my job. I'm an editor. The lack of decent mauls sucks for everyone, especially those of us (like me) that enjoy playing them. Which is why I edit and fix mauls to make them better, so that there are more tha everyone can enjoy. There have always been great TD's and I think there always will be as long as there is a desire to play them. Either way, perhaps I'll try dota again just to see what the fuss is about. As I recall I haven't been very interested the last 3 times I played.

DotA rawks, you need tactic skills, knowledge on how to combine the items in the right way for your specific hero and good combat skills and timing with spells. Pwnage map!!!

Yeah, I agree with you about DotA, lately it's been getting to easy for me though, and I've been having to try heros that are rather left of center (for me) to make it a challenge. And wth is EotA?

EotA is another very good made AoS map. But DotA is more fun imo

I dislike them both to tell the truth, can't stand them AoS games. The fact that there are usually (on average) 8 dota games being hosted at once on my server doesn't help me to like it any more either.

That is also the reason why I dislike Mauls (besides the fact that they suck), they are mass hosted on Northrend. "MWM XVVII FUN JON NOW!!" :roll:

That is why you should play mainly with people from our clan. When DD and I play we try to organize it so we know there will be a minimal amount of drops, people are more mature, and there is less stupid stuff that goes on as a result. Even if 4 people drop, you still have 4 people you can psuedo-trust and they do not try to screw you over.
