All heroes will use the same model, because we cannot afford to have different models for each class. Instead we chose the items working as attachments, so you can customize your hero on your own. The different classes will probably start with different equipment.

this map looks great, has all the things a good map should have. Especially attachments! The mounts are pretty sick too.

I was wondering what the combat would be like? Is it like the default combat where u just right click a guy and just wait while he hacks him to death while adding spells, or did u make a special system where u actually have to press a button to attack?

Also, can you kill innocents and have the guards come after u?

In the first open beta it will be the standard combat system. I wrote something about a custom combat system a while back, around 10 pages I would guess, but it will not be implented into the first version, as combat systems can ruin a game.

Maybe, Darkenneko and I have been talking about this a few times. It might get implented, it might not, I can't promise anything.

If I decide to do a custom battle system, it'll probably just be an extension to the Warcraft III one, you know, with physics, dodging, blood etc. Nothing really fance, =]

Well, I would also like some female characters in there, but would you prefer a 3,99 mb map with boobs or a 3,99 mb map with extra content?
I'll promise you that there'll be lots of female NPC's you can talk to, =]

Soon I am going to show you all my abillities in GUI triggers...maybe you'll find it usefull...

Well, we don't need more scripters on the team, especially not if you're doing GUI. Everything in Everwood is vJass, and I prefer to keep it that way for increased performance and modifyability.

Hmm, I haven't thought about that. Is this really a problem? The heroes only attack enemies if they attack you first.
 
Just to keep you guys interested, here's a new WIP on the inventory. The inventory in the first release will probably look like this, but with a few changes. Later I'll definately improve the visuality and functionality of the inventory, but for now it'll stay like this. After writing more than 2000 lines of code for this system, I'm a bit tired of it, =]

Anyway, enjoy. Comments and critism are very welcome.

but I've got a little like, called Wc3Styler, where u can "hack" your Wc3 MPQ and change some Datas, maybe you use the demon UI oder Panda UI, by using this tool, I don't know :D

That tool changes the files inside your own .mpq, which means YOU will have a Demon/Panda UI, but the other players won't, since they didn't modify their .mpq.
I'll check it out to see if you can actually use this tool to change your inventory UI. I think you can, =]
