The title said it all, proposal to update site rule to ban any form of mentioning or promoting NFT/Cryptocurrency.

With all the big man company either kick those stuff out or stupidly attempt to bring them in (looking at you, YT). It's time for HWS to strongarm and banish it to the danish Maw.

The proposal is for every artist in Hive, nobody want their work to be stolen by some goofs took it and sell for couple of bits like that. Not only they think they own our stuff but that also increasing art thief.

Currently Hive don't have any form of mentioning aside my post but this is rather for the future intention. I don't bother talking about it rather preventing promoting it.

Nothing is fair use once they took it and make a penny out of it.

Indeed, the site already protect me. But some people (well not some, a lot of people) sick of hearing nft. The least you can do is ban advertising NFT. (Yes, i know there is a roundtable for that but might as well ban it inside roundtable as well)

I thought the point of "nft" is that because now that we have super-computer thought manipulation as a regular part of society, you can manipulate people to buy anything, even if it's just a particular bitcoin that you decided to correlate officially to the moment when you were on the toilet last Tuesday. So, it's all about using a super-computer to make other people think and do what you want, just like how we use super-computers to manipulate social discourse so that everyone hates Reforged?

Honestly if we could make the same technology that converted everyone to the religion of Reforged-hating now convert them all to send me ten dollars, honestly I think that might be really valuable. I'm not sure we should ban it.

Edit:
What if we make an NFT of the moment each Hiver first became outraged at Reforged and start selling them at auction to benefit Hive?

I don't think manipulate people buying a jpg is a good thing either. Also they don't give you anyform of legality right in copyright other just some resale right, which is also a silly stuff.

Never thought we have to copyright our own line.
