(4) Enchanted Sanctuary - Quel'Thalas

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
This is my second map on Hive Workshop.

When I first played the campaign of Warcraft 3 on Reforged graphics (pre-2.0 upgrade), I was intrigued by the core beauty and feeling of the enchanted Forest and the whole environment, then learned that a custom melee map with those trees and ecosystem didn't exist at all.
So, I used those doodads and created this map for melee skirmishes.
I hope you, fellow High Elven fans, enjoy this tribute to Quel'Thalas !

The magical nature of this refuge comes from an ancient fountain of power, which attracted the Quel'Dorei, the Highborne, the ancient High Elves, who built a sanctuary for the safeguard of these mystical waters brimming with arcane energy. Moreover, it attracted all sorts of creatures ,from innocent animals like Stags to the more vile beings such as Amani forest trolls, Ogres and Gnolls.
But the worst of them all, a Red Dragon with his Pack came and took over the Enchanted Sanctuary for themselves.
Countless forces tried to reclaim this ancient refuge and many failed to do so...Maybe this time will be different.
Who will claim this ancient power?

The map is for 4 players, for a 1vs1, 2vs2 or FFA melee skirmish.
It contains:
1) Twelve Goldmines
2) Eight Green Creep Camps
3) Twelve Orange Creep Camps (Fourteen if you are playing 1vs1)
4) Nine Red Creep Camps
5) One Fountain of Mana
6) Two Taverns
7) Four Goblin Shops

The core strategy for vanquishing your enemies is to commence huge assaults with artillery-siege equipment and foot soldiers.
Don't forget to do smart maneuvers like passing to hostile territory from the central sanctuary at night or when the roads are safe from Creeps.
You'll have many resources to your advantage, use them for creating powerful Air Forces.

The map supports only Reforged graphics, to preserve the enchanted visual fidelity of Reforged.
Reminder: If you encounter any performance problems, like FPS drops, please send a comment below, and then I will add Classic graphics support
Please feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts for future improvements, if you have the kindness.

Some of the points in your previous map need fixing here as well. Also, leave the terrain minimap, not a custom image for melee maps. The villager group could be exploited by undead with Raise Dead or Rod of Necromancy. Debatable though since they...

Also, leave the terrain minimap, not a custom image for melee maps.

The villager group could be exploited by undead with Raise Dead or Rod of Necromancy. Debatable though since they are guarded by a red camp.
Many spaces between trees. Small units can exploit this.
It's generally not a good idea to block paths (like the middle) with creep camps.

Again, please improve by reading the melee mapping guides below.

Simple.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Thanks for the notice. I will probably re-create the entire map, by removing the whole clutter of Villagers and doodad buildings in to the sides, and reworking the center.
I didn't see to many spaces between the trees. You would probably referring to the small clusters of trees close to the starting bases. I will remove them.
Removing the dragons is a wise and balanced choice because of their strong numbers and powerful loot drops.
To close up, I am grateful about the feedback.
