Story - Frozen slates of ice form on the bottom of the waters, making it hard to walk or swim. Creatures around these isles are protected from the cold conditions, they adapt too the ice and snow to protect themselves.

Frosted Isles (Map)

There are spaces between trees. Please fix them as they are pretty close to the main bases and may become spy zones. Awaiting Update. If you want more reviews, you should participate in the The Grand Review Exchange! R U L E S Site Rules Map...
  • Terrain: I think you did a good job with the terrain. I don't have much to say for improvements... I'd say more doodads would just make it look messy.
  • Pathing: Nice wide open spaces, but not too wide. Makes it good for player interaction, can really get a nice battle.
I don't think I really have anything negative to say about the map. But there is one thing that stands out... The fact that you went out your way to create a quest tab to notify players that it's your map seems odd. Not sure if this is an accepted thing for melee maps... Would like to know though. All in all good map, it's something id consider playing again. Id give it a 3.5 rating if I could though.

Is not odd, and is allowed I did it in one of my melee maps (to credit Sauron tower model):
Mordor v 1.04

since is an informative tab, not a quest like the quests of the campaings.

this map can be downloaded (by anybody) and uploaded in a Chinese or a Rusian site (for example), and in that case maybe in the upload they won´t bother to say who did the map, in this way credits are inside the game too, and by that the original source.

I don´t do it, but when I use imported material, I create a quest giving credits to the models used. Since I like to have the full credits inside the game too.

by the way the map is great, I like the tile mix of Lordaeron winter and ICC.

see ya.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
