You know who I am, HFR. I made a rhyme about your little car. /rhyming over.

I used to be a map moderator, I used to used to be a map moderator and I used to used to used to be a map moderator. I resigned on all counts because I wasn't happy with the way things were going on, which have since been (semi-)rectified.

I just said I'd offer my help in cleaning up the queue -- without actually needing to give me staff powers, or anything -- if the Hive's admin team wanted it. I'm not applying for the job or anything (there's not even one going, for a start) I'm just saying I'm here if they need me re-re-re-re-re-re-re-again.

/shrug :)

Frankly, Ash is the only one I would put as an additional map moderator. Thing is, he is objective, has past experience, writes flawless(in the terms of grammar and spelling) and great reviews, and has no desire to crush users who submit maps that aren't above average.

All of the others that were mentioned have either behavioral issues or simply don't have the skill to write a decent review. Some even have both problems.

All you mod-wannabes should look up to users like Ash and Captain Griffen.

Come on, Gilles. There has been some misbehavior but, as Ash himself said, there is no need to give him any staff powers if the staff deem it necessary. I mean, really, who has a completely clean record? At least you can count that he won't make the same mistake twice, something which is not guaranteed with the other choices.

And, as far as the map section goes, he has contributed greatly and that's all that we're talking about here. Somebody to write good and proper reviews to relieve the map section queue. Let bygones be bygones.

Well, since it seems I am in that Mini-Jury still, I’ll review a couple maps to help the work-load, since bounty isn’t able to work at full strength at the moment. However, due to the fact I am also lazy, I’ll stop once someone, such as Ash, comes along to do it all again. I hope the higher-ups are able to work it out. Cheers for laziness!

You gotta be kidding. Gilles have the cleanest record as far as I recall.

That is what Septimus is speaking of. And many moderators have clean records, I don't seen the relevance of that.

My record is perfect, except for a few counts of lying.

{EDIT}

My record is shit, so what? What the hell does a record mean anyways? I think we should look at how they behave NOW, not in the past.

When did I say I didn't think Ash should be a map moderator?

Well, you first wrote something like "I won't say anything", which lead me to believe that you thought my comment was bad. Now that I saw what you meant I wanted to say that I actually meant the other people who want to be reviewers should look up to them in terms of map reviewing. We're not talking about best role model in this thread, we are talking about cleaning the Map section, fast, but effectively above all else.
