We need more spell moderators!

As you can see, the Spell Section is growing and growing, and it seems like its not stopping.

We REALLY need moderators for the sections, I mean alot more!

Spells... Thats nothing, Maps... Thats a big omg.

Also You don't need to be mod for reducing pending resources, you can help mods to reduce pending resources.

You should mention that theres already 10 pages of pending spells (out of 18 pages), and the purge wasnt that long ago.

Spells should take a lot smaller time than reviewing a map.

Spells take a good bit of time to review. You need to check the code and everything. The moderators we have now are fine, it would be nice if they looked at spells by authors that aren't renown though.

As you can see, we reached nearly 200 pending spells again.
The problem is not the amount of spell mods but their activity in the section.
Correct me if i am wrong, we have 4 mods.

Well I could help, I review both maps and spells... So my reviews seem to be quite right for both maps and spells...

But i'm just saying, you don't have to allow me if I am to low "known" still...

The current mods are really good, but they don't have the time anymore.
I asked Hanky, who has nearly no time for reviewing spells.
PurplePoot never does review spells, but he is also an Spell Mod.

So the spells mods are either lazy or busy.

Why you care so much for ratings!? I don't usually trust ratings, I trust comments. Also people have school, university or even a real job. So I don't think they will sacrifice their time for modding.

• Ralle made a thing for the spell mods that lets them see all of the triggers in a map without having to open them in WE. Sorta like a web-map-browser.

I know where this is going, and it's never going to happen. As for the lazy spell mod problem, it's always been that way. Moderating spells is an incredibly boring task, believe me, especially with the spells that get submitted here.

There's Mini-Mods (us). It may be a good idea if someone checked through the Mini-mod idea, so they actually do something, instead of suggesting for something to be approved (they still get reviewed in the end, I guess).

The one huge problem with this is that Mini-Mods don't really offer any solid comments, since their comments are passed to the Mods (I think). It may be a good idea if X Mini-Mod approval = approval. Their comments will then be compiled and shown on the spell/map.

An improvement to this little system that was introduced would be good =D

Being a moderator is a commitment though (or at least should be (I'm looking at you, model mods :/)). A lot of people don't have time for that.

Plus just because they can review doesn't mean they'd make good moderators.

Look, moderators are damn ok. And why you again I say WHY you care so much for moderator rating and approval? There is user rating thing. As in "Map Approval" thread I said to just not post these useless topics how bad resource place is which pisses off resource moderators and instead of taking care of maps they go in threads like this and start posting.

Members: 54,084, Active Members: 12,843 I think it is PRETTY few, it isn't even 1% from this all.
