TekkenTournament

HERO ARENA
-TEKKEN TOURNAMENT-

This is a pvp hero arena with Tekken Characters.
Whoever wins 10 fights becomes the champion, simple.

At the start of the game, select a circle to pick your fighter.
In the lobby area you can test your skills on the training dummy to learn them if you're new. Hitting the dummy also gives you [your figher's hero LvL] amount of gold for each hit.
The lobby also has 2 simple shops with 3 items (non-stackable) and one with tomes.

To start a fight, 2 players need to enter the red circle. Then one of 7 randomly picked arena's that aren't in use will be chosen for a 1v1. The 8th arena gets unlocked if a player gets Unknown.

The map is new and has work ahead like potential balancing/bugfixes.

Current Fighters:

Armor King
Uses choke sleeper to stun and deal double damage.
Can leap and block enemy moves. Passive lifesteal.

Yoshimitsu
Can teleport, lifedrain & perform long range harakiri.
Invulnerable spells: Bladespin, Dragonfly stance and Flee stance (which also grants a critical strike)

Passive create clones and invisibility
Heihachi
Uses stuns and double damage on moves from shocking opponents.
Can dash to fleeing enemies and use Supercharge which can give him up to 700 base damage.
Kuma
Easy tank hero that can stun or push away opponents and deal heavy damage.
Can also leap & heal himself with "Nap". Passive performs stunning moves or bonus damage.
Ogre
Can grab & throw targets dealing damage over distance. Kick and Suplex. Can mark a target with his R, which if killed, adds target hp/damage to Ogre depending on his form. Switching into True Form changes his passive to Firebreath and gives bonus armor.
If he dies in true form, he cannot use it for 40 seconds.
Lee
Uses various kicks to stun, slow or push away targets. He can also dash towards fleeing targets.
Passive gives him random speed buffs.
Mokujin
Uses "Mimic" ability to pick the skillset of selected fighter.
Spec into Q W E R skills to have that current level be the skill level of picked fighter's skillset.
Alex
Stuns and damage over time spells along with a area slow.
Can perform a special move on targets under these effects for bonus damage. R deals from 30-60% of target's HP.
Passive deals 4xbase damage and pushes the enemy.
Kazuya
Can perform basic punches and stuns along with a spinning invulnerable attack.
Grabs targets to perform special moves and has Supercharge. Passive purge on hit.

Devil
Has a punch and a kick, which turn into special moves if the target is Grabbed.
Can shoot a laser and fly (invulnerable). Passive purge on hit.
Jun
Basic punch and sidestep, attack speed and area slow.
Passive lifesteal.

Gunjack
Can grab and punch targets. Perform a stunning piston attack in front of him.
Area stun. Passive performs stunning moves or bonus damage.




(PS: if anyone could convert this Eddy Gordo model to wc3, that would be awesome. If possible with alternate walk,attack,spell where he stands on his hands: Tekken Eddy 3D Model)
Asking this because there are NO black models at all across the net.

Some heroes cost food and can't be chosen (perhaps not yet done but why there though?). They have no description to get an idea of what they do or something. Terrain seems rather chaotic, some parts of the decoration reminiscing of your Cthulhu...

A credits list in the map description with the names of the authors whose resources you've used is mandatory. That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Done and uncredited Tekken character icons are made by me using Google images and Button Manager.

The gameplay is pretty standard Arena type Warcraft III. Not much diversity aside for the hero abilities, some of which are quite similar.

Food ones are WIP, put in to remind myself which I will work on next to stay motivated.
Description will be added. I like to flow things over from one map to another or add secrets/references.
As for the gameplay yes, it's very simple. I just wanted there to be a Tekken map out there.

A very good tekken/mortal kombat map is "Fighting For Azeroth" where you use buttons to jump and dodge or perform special moves like in the games.
