Ok take Smoker as the puller
And Marine as the unit
Smoker is behind a wall.
He uses Tongue to pull the Marine.
The Tongue will slowly move the marine to the smoker
But it will not move pass the wall,
The Smoker just continue pulling until someone kills him.
Which means if there's a wall blocking the marine from the smoker,the marine will be pulled at the wall,but he doesnt go over the wall.

If theres a wall/tree there it stills continue pulling until the Smoker is killed.

Its kind of like meat hook but its pulls the unit slower then meathook and does not go over walls/trees.

My map is going to be done soon and im missing this spell.

Name : Jump
The unit jumps a distance of 500 and then lands on the grounding bouncing a few times (the bounces can be random 1-3 and travel about 50-100distance each bounce)
i have not found an icon for this yet but i will later. if its completed

can u also make the spell like thunderclap as in u dont have to click on the point for u to jump so it jumps the direction ur facing instantly when u click it. and also the height of the jump shouldnt be too big it should be see-able.
the special effect could be the ground imapale dust on the unit as it bounces/reaches the ground.

Didn't get anything. First, should the first spell istant or you must select the place of your jump? Should it make any damage or what?

Second, what's the connection to thunder clap? Should it ba triggered after the unit reaches the target point?

Or is it all ONE spell? So the unit jumps in the facing direction, then bouncing and during all this he causes thuder claps?

I'm still waiting for kevv2's answer.

The spell is instant and i dont need any damage for it. the connection to thunderclap is that its not selectable and its instant. its one spell and the unit jumps about 500 range from the direction its facing. when it finishes jumping it will bounce randomly

so the spell is that. I click the ability. I jump 500range and then i bounce 1-3 times travelling 50-100 range each bounce and stop
btw you can finish this spell whenever because im working on the terrain of the map first

I would suggest use using "Man Eating Plant", search it in the spell section.
Another way, I'm not going to create this. For me it seems very difficult, though not too interesting. I mean not interesting to create, but time consuming and brainstorming!

To ZFMGK,
The spell isn't so hard, I think, I'll make it on that or next week.

I? Well, if I start to work on something - I finish it in day or two - maximum. So that was Xiliger. Well, if you still need this, I'll take it. ;P

Mortal strike ability that causes 150% of damage and reduces all healing by 50%.
Defend type of spell that reduces ALL damage by 50% for 10 seconds. (Make it changeable so I can use it multiple times.)

First - to reduce "all" healing by 50% I should know the list of ALL healing spells you are going to use and the amount per level. That will be really time-consuming to re-configure everything to match your needs.
Second - what is "Changeable"? You can't change the triggers directly in-game, so if I set some value in the trigger editor - you can't change anything in-game, so you can't use with diffirent percent chance for different units.

The Drinks of Legend spell has a little error(just a mathematical error, I will try to come up with the right formula asap)

Well, I had another spell idea and would be grateful if you could do it. :D

Name: Fight Fire With Fire
Hotkey: F
Effect: Select a target stunning him for 2 seconds, and invokes two fireballs, one in 400 range behind the enemy target and another in 400 range in the front of the enemy target. After 1.5 seconds, the fireballs move rapidly toward the other, making them collide, exactly in the position of the enemy, causing damage to him and to the other enemy units in 250 AOE. Units that are in the path of the fireballs will be moved to the side (Here is a image from what i'm thinking. Maybe it help with something).
Level 1 - 75 damage to the target, 25 to 250 AOE enemy units.
Level 2 - 150 damage to the target, 75 to 250 AOE enemy units.
Level 3 - 225 damage to the target, 125 to 250 AOE enemy units.
Level 4 - 300 damage to the target, 175 to 250 AOE enemy units.

Special Effect: Normal Fireballs, and the collision can be any kind of explosion

Pink lightning - Like Chain but it will turn target into voodoo. (1 Target Only)

Level 1 - For 2 Seconds.
Level 2 - For 2.5 Seconds.
Level 3 - For 3 Seconds.
Level 4 - For 3.5 Seconds.

Auto Cleave - There is a 30% chance that the hero can cleave (Passive)
Like Tide Bringer of Kunkka in DotA

Level 1 - 50 Damage in 300 AoE.
Level 2 - 60 Damage in 300 AoE.
Level 3 - 70 Damage in 300 AoE.

That's not really hard to create, even though the target is stunned during the period of moving fireballs etc ;) Also idea is good, I think, I'll manage to create this, if you can wait.

Deaths Circle. Creates a ring of dark energy around the cast point(500x500), damaging anyone who enters for damage, and damaging yourself for the half. (Ultimate Spell)

Level 1 - 400 enemy damage, 200 self.
Level 2 - 500 enemy damage, 250 self
Level 3 - 600 enemy damage, 300 self.

the spell need to damage yourself, nomatter if it kills the unit, or just damages it.
+ rep for both of you, if you can do that :D i would like the special effects to be "death" and "dark" since it is a Death Spell. Second Request:

Fire Surge. Drains 30% of your maximum life, for then to blast a wave 1000 yards, dealing damage to anyone who is in it(Ultimate Spell)
Level 1 - 300 damage, 2000 maximum
Level 2 - 400 damage, 2300 maximum
Level 3 - 500 damage, 2600 maximum.
I'd love if you could make a propper special effect for it(like, whatever it hits, one of those Firelord minions spawns, first it spawns, and then dies, if you get me? ^^)

If you could do those 2, or just one of them, you'r gonna get ´rep on the next 5 posts you make ^^

Possible, if only you can tell the rate of this Int gain.

To Asomath,
His speed is returned to normal by intervals of 20% every 3 second (which means it takes 12 seconds to return to 100% speed after the spell wears off).

Ehm... 20*4 = 80, not 100. Or do you count 0 as 20%?

here´s a spell in need for my project :)

The Spell Name: Meltdown 0/6

The Spell description: Decrease the Armor of an enemy unit by 10/20/30/40/50/60 for 10 seconds and all enemy units in a radius of 350 around the unit takes (Level of Ability * Armor of the enemy unit before the reduction) damage.

The Spell Tooltip: Melts the enemy Armor in an big explosion dealing X Damage to all units an radius of 350 and decrease the armor of the unit by X.

Extra Information: Icon = BTNFireErupt, Effect Debuff = Fire Orb, Effect Explosion = War Stomp,

COuld it either be a percentage say 20% of the caster intelligence, or jsut say +10 per level of the spell witht he possiblity of me making the spell go up to 8 levels.
What ever is easiest for you guys

hey everyone, im a new member here at the hive and im an experienced map-maker, ive worked with dota makers from before, and im going back to making different maps.. my new map is an AoS called "Rise of the Gods", and i want to make a spell request since my schedule is tight:bored: :
Destruction Path :
the casting hero starts walking to a target area leaving a trail of destruction behind that deals damage to enemy units.
doesnt have to be MUI nor JASS, GUI is more than fine, leakless is a must, modifiable by me >> to make it more than 1-2-3 lvls

The Spell Name: Bolzen Salve
Description: The Hero shot like 20 Arrows on a target region, the arrows should fly high in the air and then come down (not like mortar) and do dmg like 30 per Arrow
Extra Information: The Hero is a Dwarfen Crossbowmen

The Spell Name: Heroischer Sprung
Description: Leaps like 800 range forward, and than casting a thunderclap instantly by hitting the ground
Extra Information: cant leap in DEEP water or about DEEP water the same with cliffs
