GUI Triggering Spell Requests - Now by f0rsak3n

Important: I do no longer lead this thread or make spells. I am working on my new AOS at full time. f0rsak3n will take your Requests.

This is a GUI-Only center where you can request:

  • Spells
  • Systems
This is created for people who don't understand Jass and can only edit GUI spells & Systems.

Requirement to Request


  • Atleast 50 post
  • Activity on the forum
  • Atleast 5 reputation points
    So I know people think you are nice and active.

I have a request. :)

Name: Broken, Beat & Scared

Hotkey: B

Effect: Select a enemy a unit and create a shield around the caster. That shield absorb all damage taken by the caster , and after a few seconds, the shield explodes, dealing the accumulated damage taken by the caster in the selected enemy unit.(the shield does not block any damage, I mean, if an enemy attack should take 50 damage from the Caster, will continue taking 50 damage, even with the shield on. And doesn't matter if the damage to be "absorbed" occurred through normal attacks and magic of the enemies, poison, fire, or even an injury suffered by an attack of the own caster, for example, in a magic that takes the life of the enemy and at the same time injury the caster unit, like the "Double Edge" of "Centaur Warchief", from Dota)

is a image that maybe can explain what i'm saying.

Level 1 - The Shield remains for 6 seconds. Cooldown: 120 seconds. Manacost: 180.

Level 2 - The Shield remains for 8 seconds. Cooldown: 100 seconds. Manacost: 140.

Level 3 - The Shield remains for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 80 seconds. Manacost: 100.


Special Effect: I don't know what special effect use in the shield, the hero that will use that spell is a Stone Hero, so you can put anything, and maybe I change it later. This is for the "explosion" of the shield that will hit the enemy too. And if you can, put a effect on the enemy targe, for all know he is the target :)

Yuffie (The hero) casts a shockwawe or some blast towards targeted area, after it reaches the point it explodes (Or Just goes like 700 yd and after explodes.), and deals damage to all nearby units.
With 4 Ranks: 100/150/200/250 Dmg, in 500 Radius.

Just make it realistic as in the clip, that will be enough :)

Spell Info: 12 random points are selected inside a region, but the points must not within 150 warcraft measuring units of the casting unit. After two seconds of the spell initally being cast, ice bolts are shot from the casting unit to each of the selected points. If an enemy unit is within a 100 radius of the point when the ice bolt reaches it, he is frozen for 5 seconds. His speed is returned to normal by intervals of 20% every 3 second (which means it takes 12 seconds to return to 100% speed after the spell wears off, not including the original 5 second freeze).
Spell Icon: Ice Bolt
Spell Effects: A little bonus effects if you don’t mind adding them in. I would like there to be some kind of marker at each of the twelve points for the first 2 seconds before the ice bolts go out (disappearing when the ice bolts go out). Something like the steal ability effect would work nicely. The second bonus effect would be if a unit gets frozen, they are placed in ice until the 3 second freezing wears off.

This type of spells are hard to make in GUI and can take some time... Cant promise I'll have it done within 24hours like the other spell I made.

Finger Offensive-Shoots A ball(anykind of model Ball spirit thing) to a targeted unit,damaging the unit 6 times,and stops channeling spells.

Well, if you have time and everything, could you make this one? :D I made request long time ago to spellfactory but they didn't answer ;____; But here is the spell:

Spell name: Devastation of mind

Spell type: Channeling power to orbs and after stopping / finishing channeling, realeases power which will slowly fade off.
Spell info: When caster begins channeling this ability, it summons 2 orbs behind the caster which grows every second bigger. When they are on their max size or when the caster stops channeling, the orbs starts to orbit caster. Orbs creates lightning effects (Use dummy <=> Orb lightning effects) And lightnings wanders around the orbs fast and orbs wanders around the caster slowly but they wont get too far away from caster (use unitgroups that when enemy unit comes too near to dummies, then damage targets.) Every second the size of orbs fades of ( minus the size from the size which caster has channeled) and when they are reaaaally small, they fade out and lightnings dissapear. I think that here were also the effects but thats ok ^^

Spell effects: Including the lightning effects, there could be one dummy more but it would be just as an effect: Make Cinematic illidand behind the caster and orbs fits right to illidands hands :D Orbs position would be
  • Set point = (position of caster) -275 towards facing (Casters facing - 45) Degrees.
  • Unit - Create one Orb to Point for (owner of (Caster)) facing default building degrees
And the another one with (Casters facing + 45)
and dummy
  • set point2 = (position of caster) -200 towards facing (casters facing) degrees.
System: Hell no

Other: And of course you get reputation if you do this for me :D I need it hell a lot in my map

Hm, the more I use the spell, the longer the delay gets when the icebolts reach their points. After 6 or 7 times, it freezes Warcraft III itself. (Omgosh my spell is so powerful it freezes outside the map!)

Sorry about that. It still doesnt happen for me, but I tried to optimized the scripting a bit. I also think it might have been the constant use of "Frost Nova" That made you guys lag, so i used Storm Bolt instead. It shouldnt lag anymore. Tell me if it still does.

Demonic Blade
Ability Type: Active
Targeting Type: Point

Send a fiery blade arcing toward a unit or location, prolonging from the pain of any unfortunate victim in its path.

Level 1 - Deals 80 damage. Deals 20 bonus damage to units under debuffs.
Level 2 - Deals 140 damage. Deals 40 bonus damage to units under debuffs.
Level 3 - Deals 200 damage. Deals 60 bonus damage to units under debuffs.
Level 4 - Deals 260 damage. Deals 80 bonus damage to units under debuffs.


Mana Cost: 90/100/110/120
Cooldown: 13 seconds.
Casting Range: 650/700/750/800 units per level.

Framework: The blade itself would look like Silencer's regular attack, but bigger/fiery. The Demonic Blade acts exactly like Rexxar's Axes (i.e: how they curve out then come back). Demonic Blade would just make a complete circle (oval,orbit,whatever) and have fast animation regardless of the point you choose.
Notes:
-Damage type: Physical
-Can hit invisible units.
-Can also destroy Trees.

Merciless Instincts (Passive)

Decades of pillaging and murder has given the raider several adaptive skills. His training gives Mogri the ability to stop any hostile attacker in his tracks every so often.

Level 1 - 10% (14% for ranged) chance to Ensnare enemy attacker for 1 seconds.
Level 2 - 12% (16% for ranged) chance to Ensnare enemy attacker for 1.25 second.
Level 3 - 14% (18% for ranged) chance to Ensnare enemy attacker for 1.5 seconds.
Level 4 - 16% (20% for ranged) chance to Ensnare enemy attacker for 1.75 seconds.

Reckless Assault
Ability Type: Active
Targeting Type: Self

Mogri readies himself for a dangerous assault. He pushes his mount into a death sprint and tramples enemies he runs through. Gives ability "Death From Above"

Level 1 - Gains +20% MS. Enemy units trampled by Mogri are pushed aside 100 units, dealt 125 damage. Lasts 6 seconds.
Level 2 - Gains +25% MS. Enemy units trampled by Mogri are pushed aside 150 units, dealt 150 damage. Lasts 7 seconds.
Level 3 - Gains +30% MS. Enemy units trampled by Mogri are pushed aside 200 units, dealt 175 damage. Lasts 8 seconds.

Mogri gains Death From Above.
Loses all other abilities while under Reckless Assault.


Mana Cost: 100/150/200
Cooldown: 120/110/100

Framework: Ignores unit pathing. Mogri becomes a steamplow, pushing his way around the battlefield. He loses all other abilities while under Reckless Assault except for Death From Above, a sub-skill.
Notes:
-Enemy units can only be knocked back/damaged once per Reckless Assault.

I have a request for you.

Type: System
Sub-Type: Skill Management

How it works:
Well just a passive skills system based on a multiboards.
Skills should be learned when an item of class Power Up is picked up.
When the hero gets a skill the hero should get an abillity and have it disabled.
The player(1, red) should be able to navigate trough the skills with the up and down arrow keys. The right key should open a small menu(on the multiboard) with some options like:
- Forget
- Close menu
- Return to main screen(this hides the current multiboard and disables the navigation and stuff and returns to a main-multiboard)
When the selector is over a skill, it's description should be showed somewhere.
Of course, one row can't be enough for that so I need a string parser for the multiboard.

Other information:
I don't need it MUI or MPI, my map is singleplayer and this must support just one hero.
It's up to you if you want to make it MUI or not, but I don't want to lose efficiency.

I hope you can do this for me.

there was something wrong on my request,the Finger offensive should have 23%/34%/55% chance to freeze the enemy.
and the asura strike has a 3.34/2.12/0.2 Damage Delay. .

Ok let's see here.. I think I understand what you want.
However; when you use the arrow keys, the camera will move. You want me to fix you a camera system aswell?
Right, down to business, I have a few Questions:

1: What will the "Normal" multiboard be?
2: The skills in the multiboard, are they all disabled? And will you be able to turn them on using the multiboard?

It's a 60 mb map.
Just make that multiboard work only with itself.
Don't use "Last Created Multiboard" and stuff.
Allow navigation only if the multiboard isn't minimized(it's a boolean).
Update the multiboard only when it's showed or when it is maximized and the hero gets a skill... Etc.
