Pegasus Request. New..

Nice. I'll take a look at it. And thanks for the suggestion.

Edit: I think I'll request one another time. It's a flaming black pegasus (I've been waiting for a long time for that pegasus). I'll let you know later.

Edit 2: Here's the image of it. I need it to have the animation set for both land and air. It also needs at least an attack animation too. Don't rush for this one. I'll wait for the others to pass first.

Edit: Didn't see this page. I definitely will be able to find the source of a stray sound like you were talking about, and should be able to fix it this evening/afternoon.

Guys, new request here:

I just need a simple attachment. A cube that hovers in the air. Black would be a good color for it.

Currently, I'm using the Tree of life as a kind of house, and I'm making its indoor. The thing I need is a wall with a night elf-ish texture that looks like it could be present inside the tree of life.

I would like to request a simple cubish rectangle(simple wall) using the texture of any night-elf building (like the one I attached). So, thanks in advance. :3

Progress report:

Seth Map Filesize - I was thinking about that Sphinx model, and it struck me that if you were not using the Obsidian Statue form I could cut it out. So, I did. Attached is a version of the Sphinx that is less than half of the original filesize, because I removed the "alternate" Obsidian Statue animations. I also threw in a portrait, if you want that.

Modified Troll Batrider
- I was thinking about how you were saying animation reworks would be hard, and so I threw together a little WIP of the sort of thing I could do with the Matrix Eater. It's got some serious bugs (i.e. little holes in geometry if you look close, parts of the model going through itself, etc) but it gets the point across. I basically merged a Troll Berserker land unit with a Troll Batrider.
Edit: Another test, merged batrider with wind rider. Also, I was trying to learn to use mdlvis (which I've actually never really used before) and I tried to correct the walk animation in the _mdlvis one.

Edit: Fixed Sphinx portrait to have the same kind of headpiece as the model.

Oh Retera, I'm gonna use the obsidian statue animations too, don't put it out. But can I just use a skin? I'm not using the destroyer nor the obsidian statue models so I think all I need is the skin. That's gonna reduce the whole filesize significantly.

The only problem with the obsidian statue is that its wings doesn't look good.

I'm actually ok with the Sphinx already, no portrait is okay, I just need the model itself, or skin.
What I really need now is my other requests. The Seth creatures and the giant blue aura.

EDIT: I think it would be better if you remove the wings for both the destroyer and the statue form. So I think I'm gonna need a model for that. I don't need any wings for the statue form. The destroyer form is okay already, what I need is the statue form without wings.

You can remove animations too right? You can remove all morph animations for the models and all the animations for the statue form except for the spell anim and stand anim. I ain't gonna use them anyway,

This is amazing! I really appreciate this. This really opens up almost any possibility for this unit.

Also, I totally hate you as well :p... I've basically built much of the Troll race around the idea of replacing the in-game units... Except the Batrider, which was so specific, I was forced to make something similar (heavy flying siege, :<, instead of light). And now, having built up the rest of the race with that Unit Role taken care of (T3 heavy siege & flyer), the opportunity to change that is both tantalizing & frustrating. xD

You'll have to give me some time to reorient my life re-organize things. :p
 
I spent a lot of time trying to decide how to attack the Seth Requests.
Gave it a shot at the Anubis, not sure what I think yet, but here's a WIP if you would like to comment:

No custom textures for this Anubis guy yet, just wc3 textures and shapes

Also I fixed my computer by re-installing Windows!

Stop now with the Anubis, Retera. It looks great already. The only thing I want you to do now is to make it blend with the Sphinx, the Skeletal mage (a brown team color), and the other Seth models. They all have brown team colors btw.

I'm not visualizing really complex models, except for the Sphinx, so that's perfectly fine.

EDIT: Did you see my last comment about the Sphinx?

Hey, uhmm, I was about to request a model that is based off another model that was made by someone here on hive. I know you're supposed to ask for permission first, but his last activity was back in 2009.

Here's the model by the way.

Is there any other way I could get someone to do my request? Unless you do the whole model again. If someone's going to do it, I don't want you to make it look exactly like the picture below, I want it to look like the Illidan Blademaster model so it would look Warcraft-ish.

If you can do that, here's the request:

I want the model to have an alternate form, one with the sword and one without the sword. When not holding the sword, he's supposed to be faster in terms of attack and movement. The sword is supposed to be huge so when he's holding the sword, his slower.

Alright, while I'm still at work determing exactly what this guy should do/carry, I think I can decide on two things:

1) The original rider is fine (he'll have adjustments), no need to throw the Berserker on there (but thanks :p), and

2) He needs some adornments or armor in the mean-time. This is a bit more ambiguous, so I'd like to know your thoughts as an artist, as to what would look good/fitting.

*Perhaps stealing the Naga "Submerge" for a "swooping dive"... (then again, dealing with all those snake-like lower-body bones might be problematic...)

Had a little time today, threw together a scarlet onslaught flag and a blue beam aura thing for that sphinx.

There is a model in WC3

"UI\\Feedback\\SelectionCircleEnemy\\SelectionCircleEnemy.mdx"

The model doesn't has a death animation. Can you export the model, add a death animation to it?

The death animation should be as short as possible. No actual animation is needed. I want the model to just die in 0.1 seconds or as fast as possible so it could be removed faster.

Without the death animation, if I remove a effect it takes 5 seconds to get remove. I want to remove instantly. No other model editing required just add a death animation to the model.

Let me know if anything goes wrong, and maybe I'll get to it later. It was invisible in the editor until I realized that its animations were named "small" "medium" and "large" and so I changed it to "stand small" "stand medium" etc so that it would show up.

Let me know if anything goes wrong, and maybe I'll get to it later. It was invisible in the editor until I realized that its animations were named "small" "medium" and "large" and so I changed it to "stand small" "stand medium" etc so that it would show up.

Works great but a small problem now. The thing is appearing bigger than it appeared before. I guess by default it is showing stand large or stand medium animation. Can you keep only stand small animation and delete the other.

The death part is working perfectly.. Thank you :grin: :thumbs_up:


Is there a way to change how a special effect works? Like sometimes I can use the stand small and other times I can use the stand medium of the same model? If possible can you separate the 3 animation into 3 models with death animation?

Hello all, I started working tonight but the Theron Sentinel took me like 2 and a half hours. Also it still needs to have its file size stuff reduced. Nonetheless, attached are the Priest of Seth, Guardian of Seth, touched-up Anubis, and first draft of Theron Sentinel.
Also size-fixed version of Enemy Selection Circle thing.

Gotta go, hope you guys like them!

Hmm, I think I can do that, I'll just use the shroud behind cinematic Kil'ja... Recolor and scale it

Edit: I'm thinking of changing the progress table... I'm thinking of changing it to:
Retera and I will each have a list of requests and it will show what we are currently working on.
Therefore it is much easier to understand and update
