    I'm here to send a message in behalf of another hive member which is GreeN!X.

    First, He would like to apologize for not being a productive concept artist. He did a few sketches but did not manage to finish any final drawings. He would like to quit as he cannot continue doing his job because of some accident. As a friend of his, I cannot say what exactly happened to him but I assure you that he is fine.

    Lastly, he would like to wish you good luck in finishing your project.

    If the spellbooks don't share abilities, then I guess you can store the books and their spells in a hashtable and check from there.

    Spellbooks don't truly do much, so it might no count. Then again, they are instant, so maybe it's possible to detect the order that opens them?
    Checking whether a specific spellbook is open could be done by trying to cast an ability that's inside it, by using the keyboard actions.
    If it is possible, then it must somehow use a way that detects if an ability is hidden, because that's exactly what a spellbook does.
    You could try ordering the player to press S(stop). If that does nothing, then a spellbook is open or for some other reason that unit doesn't have the stop command available.
    However, ordering the unit to stop by orders would still work I think.
    By the way, it could be nice, if you made a small guide for dummies, who had problems with using the model.
    You should not do that. It might work but it can screw things up under certain conditions. Just use the standard native UnitDamageTarget when you are outside of an OnDamage Event.
    Oh you are right I will add it to the documentation with the next patch. Note that you should only use UnitDamageTargetEx from OnDamage handlers.

    first of all you don't use the latest version of the system. You should use version 1.0.0.2 not 1.0.0.1. Second you deal damage from an OnDamage Handler via UnitDamageTarget, that does not work. You should use UnitDamageTargetEx which is provided by the system. If I use it instead of the native, damage is dealt correctly.
    Well, i am quet busy all the time with irl things. But you can allways post a needed effects list on my userpage, so i might make.. things.
    Yeah. There are dummy recicle system, just as there are timer recycler and group recycler systems :p
    There are some unavoidable leaks like unit creations. No matter how you create a unit, it leaks somehow in some way afaik.
    Are you sure you don't have more leaks wandering around? :p Effects? locals? Units? Groups? handles...
    Depends. Was your map blank as mine? I just had a single unit on the center of the map with those functions. Maps by themself don't leak.
    Hi,

    the DDS should not behave like that and I could not reproduce this in the testmap. If I deal damage, it works as it is supposed to.

    Can you send me testmap so that I can take a look at it?
