    , to bad I already had those, but yes those wcr2 sounds are cool (especially the Death Knight and the Mage).

    Oh yeah the Human Barracks is also nice. But I didn't find any other good models there...

    The War2 pack contains a lot of awesome models, unfortunately few that I need for my project.

    I suppose you mean the one from samods?
    In that case, perhaps you should ask for permission to distribute the pack to another site?

    ps: (Note that it isn't finished and you can find the credit list in the quest section or just look in the world editor -> triggers -> Credits. This map is based of modpeon's garden of war warcraft 2 map, and I haven't asked permission yet to upload the map but since his last activity on this site was: 05-02-2005, I don't really think it matters much and I give him credits for his work.)

    Thanks for the upload, I was hoping that in addition to my efforts I would convince other people to begin uploading things as well, specifically people that had created models and other things and just left them on their drive for years.

    I really love the Human Castle model in that map [K40$]-Spectre, I just wish the skin for the Castle and Town Hall were as good as the Keep.

    , yes the model is good, almost exactly as the in warcraft 2. I also like the model of the town hall, brings back the good old memories :) . Red XIII did a good job on the models, I just hoped Red Shift did the skin job (that guy is so freaking good in skinning :O).

    I'm going to be posting the Dawn of Chaos mod probably soon, waiting to hear back from John Drake about an updated MPQ file.

    It has all the buildings you want.

    Only JD could answer that, but I can take a guess.

    In reality releasing your projects custom models/skins/icons/etc does not compromise the popularity of your project, as those are all superficial things. The coding, techtree design and custom systems are what make your mod - choosing to share your materials only generates more interest in your project. In theory someone could reconstruct your mod, but only at great expense in time by them. A good example was the opendota project that completely recreated an unprotected dota, but why would you play some stupid kids "fixed" version when you could play the legit version? DoC is really good by the way, the attention to detail is superb.

    Other than that, giving models to the community is boss.

    As far as permission I assume that him giving me an updated mpq knowing I'm going to post it here is good enough, but Skullpitter might still say no. Time shall tell.

    Also, as far as giving me rep for this I'm not sure how I feel about it. I suppose as long as you're not attributing it to the material itself and only to my effort in compiling this stuff then I guess it's ok.

    I've heard of DoC, but i'm afraid there aren't wc1 human buildings there.
