but then again a woman ie Palin, hasn't either... Well we'll all know by tomorrow or the day after

Palin normally would get quite a few women votes. But her motormouth's pretty much screwed McCain over.

Seriously, there are 2 ways McCain could actually win this.

Democrats get lazy and don't vote.

or

Bush rigs the election.

That's about it. While I had heard that there are about 12 undecided states and for McCain to win he'd have to win all 12 over, that does sound a bit unbelievable.

As much as the racial vote card is most likely a factor, it's well known that black people generally vote democrat regardless of whether or not the candidate is black (Though I suppose generalization is a fallacy, it gets the idea across).

yeah i agree. also dont richer people tend to vote more republican anyways? and well it seems like a rather large portion of blacks are not "rich" seeing how they havent really had the best opportunities in the last 300 years (its obviously getting alot better but still), and so since they arrant as wealthy they would also lean democractic. im not really sure where there is all this "open election" business i hear (mostly on FOX), it seems like Obama has this with popular vote and electoral.

And remember people, your vote doesn't count anyway! (especially if you're voting for an independent candidate)
:infl_thumbs_up:

As sad as it is, it's true, our votes really don't mean anything.

It's really up to the senators in Congress, the fact we can vote is just a publicity stunt. In order to win, Obama or McCain need to get 270 votes from the senators.

Democrats are in the lead in terms of the Senate. I hope the Presidentials works that way.

Mind you America has a messed up voting system.

I like Canada's better, because if you want to vote for a third party, let's say the Green Party, even though your vote most likely wont get them into the Prime Minister's seat, it will earn them seats in the House of Commons. The more seats you get, the closer you are to having a government. This way your votes are not wasted.

Greens had a Fuck load of votes, but got zero seats.

Were a FPP system, not a PR system

Thanks for your time.

OH BTW 1 seat in the house of commons is a piece of shit.

And, PR systems suck dick. GL Getting anything passed,

[fail sarcasm]John McCain will win and bring the second coming of Jesus.

John McCain will defeat Barack "derka derka" Obama and save America.[/fail sarcasm]

Although I am seriously worried Bush will do something to fuck everything up and declare McCain winner by default.

Fail troll is fail. One seat is better than completely throwing your vote away.

Joe the Plumber will become the next president, duh

God I am getting so sick of hearing "Joe the Plumber".

They've spammed him to hell and back, hell, even Joe himself told the two candidates to leave him the hell alone and focus on the economy.

Obama listened, McCain didn't.

Nice.

All I know is the republican name is ruined by Bush and that's the only reason McCain probably wont win. If we had a terrible democratic president, there would be no question who would win. Oh also the fact that Obama has all the illegals and blacks voting for him. (probably get banned for saying this, but thank goodness blacks lose there race card when Obama gets elected)

Honestly I'm not saying Obama is a bad candidate at all. I'm just saying I honestly believe they are both great candidates and I stated the reasons it's one sided in the poll. Compared to most elections, I'm quite happy with the two candidates for this one. I always oppose the common views just for the sake of argument and because I'm a rebel. You can't deny that 99% of blacks are voting for Obama though (and illegals). =]

Nobody wants Palin.

McCain due to an overwelming amount of experience. (35 years). Obama only has 8 months.

What is experience? Experience to learn the ropes of politics? All the schemes and backdoor business going on to get money? Well, at least, that's how republican politicians do stuff in the past.

Who cares about experience if its Congress that gets everything passed in the end? Its about new fresh ideas, which "experience" doesn't offer.

i think experience is alot more important then what your making it as
well would you rather have an experienced plumber come to your house or a new one? would you rather have an experienced electrition work on your house or a new one?

however, i do agree about what u said with the fresh ideas part. i think our country needs that, because although experience is a valuable thing our country is constintly changing (significantly more then 100 years ago lets say). things that worked for the united states in 2000, 1990, 1980 ect almost dont really compare to 2008-2012. its always being so different.

Well they showed a commercial about tomorrow.

Most of the states were red, Obama had 257.

I don't know why, but it made me strangely uneasy.

I suppose it may be the fact that the doom of America will practically be decided tonight.
