Ron Paul 08!

But if I had a gun struck to my head and was told pick one...

I'd point straight at Obama.

McCain is a real fruit when it comes to economics. And Sarah Palin can see Russia from her house...but so can I through the magic of google earth. Hardly a qualification to be a president.

Poll options might as well be Biden or Palin, since if Mccain is elected he'd die of old age, and if Obama is he'd die of being black.

Being black isn't a cause of death, FYI. Just like old age. It leads to death, but isn't the reason for death itself.

To say McCain will certainly die b/c of old age during his term (if elected) is absolutely silly; the tough bastard has been through quite a bit of shit and I think he'd stick around just a little longer to see his path through. Obama's too awesome to be assassinated if he were elected. (No, I don't really have another reason for this.)

Fox news has to go be the most biased when it comes to certain issues. Especially political ones. As time will tell, hopefully Obama will win. We shall see what he can do.

CNN isn't any better, if you ignore the fact they're not with the republicans.

Obama at least knows what the hell he's doing.

Wow this has really been a smack down on republicans Obama is way ahead, that is on the forum. However, I'm not surprised young people tend to be more liberal. I do want to see someone post why they support Mccacin since its pretty much been all Obama praise so far...
Younger people such as myself don't know shit (except for me of course) and if you ask a "Mccain supporter" why he does so they'll say something like "uhhh experience!" then if you ask an "Obama supporter" why he does so they'll say something like "uhhh America needs change and Obama can bring that."

AkA the slogans brainwashed into us.

Right on!
It's Faux Fox News. I'm surprised they haven't said that McCain has won the election and he captured Osama Bin Laden, who was planning with Barack Obama to bomb the statue of liberty.
You haven't been keeping up.
Obama's too awesome to be assassinated if he were elected. (No, I don't really have another reason for this.)
He has the power of hope and change. He's practically invincible.
Obama at least knows what the hell he's doing.
Oh if that were true...
I'd rather have a competent President with higher taxes than an incompetent one without.
Not me. I'd be a fool to think a man on the opposite side of the country has an affect on my life, and I'd rather pay lower taxes.
I won't take a stance on this forum because I posted so I don't want it to be biased
Since this is a decision between two people, as opposed to some philosophical question like whether or not there can be peace, I'd hardly care about bias. As well, you don't call it bias when you have reached the correct conclusion.

The more people ask me to choose between these two politicians..., the more I want to vote for Ron Paul. I guess that tells you what I'll do when I'm faced with the ballot.

I'm glad I can assess my statement to be a joke :p
Oh if that were true...
Isn't the validity of said truth all relative?
Not me. I'd be a fool to think a man on the opposite side of the country has an affect on my life, and I'd rather pay lower taxes.
The president doesn't even create tax bills :p

I don't believe you understand the point of candidates outside of the two main presidential nominees.
I don't feel like making a long explanation, so here's a quick summary.
2 candidates locked in war over presidency.
3rd (or more) candidate(s) come in and declare both sides have lost sight of the important values, and that they will ensure that said values are dealt with properly should said third candidate be elected.
Both parties, eager to grab the moderate votes who may go for the third party, quickly adopt these policies.
In other words, they simply catalyst the (seemingly) better change for both parties.
..and what the hell, Ron Paul isn't even on the ballot :p
Sure writing in is an option, but a very futile one at that.

Here's my motto: Whoever wins, we lose. McCain for less taxes though and because he's a rebel! (Rebels own everybody)

I personally believe they are both above average candidates, and I had a hard time choosing between them. I do not have liberal views such as supporting gay marriage and such which would lead me to vote towards McCain. Obama, however, does have more knowledge on economy I think, and Biden is a pretty good running mate. McCains war plan seems far more rational to me than Obamas. We bring them home and we lose everything thousands of lives fought for, but then democrats can't complain about oil wars which is always a plus because they are annoying as hell. Or we stay there, see the middle east become a democracy with order, and we gain a new ally, but probably lose more lives and delay our economies rebound.

So without further ado, RON PAUL FTW ZOMG! :O (No I seriously voted McCain although usually when people ask, I say I'm a devout Ron Paul fan.)

But if he did, I still want to pay less taxes.
True, I suppose this was more directed towards the person you quoted.
A minor setback. ;p
That's one thing you could call it.
*shudders at voting for McCain or Obama*
Voting isn't mandatory, but as with most cases, I've found that when I dislike both candidates (not true in this election), I often find one to be the lesser of two evils. Then again, since nobody is perfect, and evil is relative, every decision is the lesser of all evils. Or the best of all goods. Whichever way you look at it (half full or half empty?), there's usually a decision that you can make. Although I wont force that down anyone's throat, as I know that I tend to be more opinionated, and thus sometimes exaggerate my opinions in order to solidify them.

Buddy, Fox News is partially owned by the REPUBLICAN PARTY. How can that NOT be biased?!

Either way I think we're stuck with McCain, what with finding out Obama's Aunt is an illegal alien.
I feel as if I should be appalled that this even matters, considering it isn't even his personal account, as opposed to the hundred of offenses Palin has pulled by herself, but then I realize that we're dealing with the American media here.

Although imo Obama should win, it is a risk to have him as president, people already plotted dark plans to assassinate him, and he's not even president yet.

Yeah, and the people plotting to assassinate him were complete idiots. Really, with shotguns? You know how much of a close proximity you'd have to be to kill someone with a shotgun? XD

I think Obama gets the most of the votes in this thread because we have a lot of people from other countries, and among them (us) nobody supports McCain, but we aren't voting anyways in U.S...

... Are you kidding? Partially owned by republican instead of completely owned by democrat yeah that's really biased. It's not biased, it's just not completely biased toward democrat. I know allot of news stations are not owned by a party at all, but allot of news stations are owned by democrat. Also Hanity and Colmes isn't biased Alan Colmes support Obama and John Hanity supports McCain, so it's on both sides.

Nope not at all, I've talked to many people about it and those are the best responses I get. You really think the average teenager is worrying about the election?

Yes? Of course they are, or should be. For many teenagers, the next 4-8 years will be very crucial in terms of education and occupation, so jobs and education are very much so worth giving a damn about.
Of course, the operative term there is "should be".
It's not biased
Yes, yes it is. I'm not saying there aren't completely biased networks towards the democrats, but Fox news is definitely biased towards the conservatives.
I don't feel like posting my evidence, as I posted it in another thread.. or maybe a few other threads.

Normally your responses are great brad, but that's just stupid. Just because your boss is a dick, doesn't mean you're a dick. Please give some other examples of how they are biased besides for that, since I consider them one of the less-biased channels I receive. If they're really that biased, please, point me in the direction of an unbiased one.

But, I voted McCain. I've had a hard time totally trusting Obama. I have some faith McCain won't die in office, anyway.

America's afraid to fall in Socialist hands but, you know, every country if it has capitalism or communism, every country has at least some socialism in the system. Almost none is bad but too much is bad too.

So guys and girls, let's I think it's time for a change.

I've seen a whole fucking documentary full of ex-Fox employees spilling the beans on corporate memos about what they can and cannot say.

Christ, just watch the fucking station! The debates, they're awful! Any time someone says something the host doesn't agree with he tells them to shut up. You literally cannot express a liberal viewpoint during a debate on Fox News. Don't believe me? Check out the O'reilly Factor. Fucking garbage propaganda.

And certain stations may be biased, but I don't think CNN is one of them. Certainly not for the Democrats. Christ, they support the war in Iraq, they're owned by a major corporation, etc. Maybe back in the early days, yeah, but not now.

YouTube - Fox News Jokes About Killing Obama - Full Segment

Fucking disgusting. Fox News, 'Fair and Balanced', my ass.
