The Police and Crime Commissioner elections in England and Wales are tomorrow, November 15. There are a 37 English and 4 Welsh police commissioner positions being contested. Please feel free to discuss the elections here, personally I'm hoping UKIP wins a lot of seats. As for the poll, who will you vote for, or if you can't vote (not British, not old enough, etc.), who would vote for if you could?

The Conservative Party, Labour Party, Liberal Democrats, and UK Independence Party are fielding candidates in most of the elections. The English Democrats are fielding candidates for five positions, whereas the British Freedom Party and Green Party will both be fielding candidates for only one seat. The British National Party has been banned from participating in the election and Plaid Cymru has abstained from fielding candidates.

In England the following police districts are having elections:
Avon and Somerset Constabulary, Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Cheshire Constabulary, Cleveland Police, Cumbria Constabulary, Derbyshire Constabulary, Devon and Cornwall Police, Dorset Police, Durham Constabulary, Essex Police, Gloucestershire Constabulary, Greater Manchester Police, Hampshire Constabulary, Hertfordshire Constabulary, Humberside Police, Kent Police, Lancashire Constabulary, Leicestershire Constabulary, Lincolnshire Police, Merseyside Police, Norfolk Constabulary, North Yorkshire Police, Northamptonshire Constabulary, Northumbria Police, Nottinghamshire Police, South Yorkshire Police, Staffordshire Police, Suffolk Constabulary, Surrey Police, Sussex Police, Thames Valley Police, Warwickshire Police, Mercia Police, Midlands Police, Yorkshire Police, Wiltshire Police

In Wales the following police districts are having elections:
Dyfed-Powys Police, Gwent Police, North Wales Police, South Wales Police

You can learn more about the candidates on these sites:
http://www.choosemypcc.org.uk/
http://www.ukip.org/page/may-elections (UKIP candidates only)

It appears that only UKIP has provided detailed information on their candidates and what they stand for. If anyone can point out similar lists for the other parties, please let me know and I'll add them to the OP.
