MatiS: Check out this illustration from Gray's Anatomy for good reference on the muscles of the knee and upper thigh. It doesn't include the fat deposits but should give you a better idea of the big curves and shapes. I won't link photo references as they're probably NSFW :vw_death:

Getting started on this, just blocking in the volumes. Currently 772 tris. Might try tinker around with the silhouette a bit before moving on to unwrapping. I'll probably convert some of the spheres to bilboarded planes, we'll see :)

A replaceable id 0 could be the problem, or basically any empty geoset, material etc.
I will check that, maybe I forgot something. Thanks.

I'm not so familiar with those programs (except for magos), so I cannot be of any help, sorry :(
Maybe it would help opening a thread asking for help?
I'll check if it has something that Proxy mention, if it doesn't work again I will start on a new one.

First ever WiP. Would add a hood and currently I'm working on a mercenary mage or someone who attracts allies so he can get gold, an he uses magic of course. Just think he is a mage thief.

Any suggestions to make his face better? I'm aiming for a handsome guy thing but can't get rid of that ugly face.

Finished the mesh, but still a few things to add for SFX and the like.

Tauer, I think the way you do a concept really depends on your personal preference, so go with what you're comfortable with. The one I showed was actually a roughly sculpted digital model that I then painted over in Photoshop. The reason I like making a concept model is because I can then use it as a good reference for my actual mesh.

Man, curse you and your wonderful world of WIPs... As always, love the colors & the chunkiness; just really feels like Warcraft to me (although the torso looks so folded & clunky?).

The only thing I think might be a problem is the silhouette; at appropriate Goblin proportions he'll be much too small (even if he is fat :p), and will need 'something' to give him a greater/larger silhouette. Tinker has robo-pack/arms, Alchemist has the ogre, Sapper has 3 Goblins, Shredder has... the Shredder.

Scrap that old concept, female eredar it's gonna be. Thoughts on the face?

Edit: Added eybrows smoothed the face.
Ooh, I really like that; particularly how you re-purposed the Naga Siren face into a Draenei. You have such a way with repurposed textures, man.

My progress since the last WiP. Still trying to make him look handsome but keeping the wizard and the rouge theme. Anyways can someone help me find a texture for that hood? It should be brown and looks leather enough. Right now Sylvanas texture sucks.

Okay I'm slow but the deadline is still far so I have time to polish everything.

Kyrbi0: Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on it. It works okay enough in-game but I wanna push the silhouette further, like about 30% more Phat.

PROXY: Cool idea! I feel like for an Eredar, her armor should be more radical and out-there; she looks kinda like a basic adventurer atm.

Quick texture update, all the colours are subject to change (haven't even thought about TC :p). Just doing a value pass and blocking in the big areas of colour. I put value and colour on separate layers (somewhat adapted from Michael Dashow's texture painting technique), which makes it easy to adjust things on the fly.
Probably need to make his hat and coat non-mirrored, haha.

:goblin_jawdrop: That goblin is so in warcraft style, man. You are a great artist and not just modeler...I never liked the goblins but this model is just awesome.

Im Actually Planning to do this alot later...
but when im doing the stuff that Im suppose to do, Im thinking of resting a bit...
So I ended up remaking a better shit :p
Uses more Vertex than I usually do :V

Wow, looks great, Hayate. Wonderfull mesh.
 
Not much progress to show at the moment. Decided to fill open texture space with included particle effects. Currently, the plan for my entry is to create an Orcish 'Grim Reaper' figure; possibly a remnant of the Stormreaver Clan, or the last Stormreaver.

I was debating filling the texture space with a red version of his skin, for a Fel Orc form, but ultimately decided against it.

The shoulders, armor and the left arm are not done yet but I will finish it. Instead of a weapon in his right hand I will give him some staff.

Hey now, that is pretty sick! I really love the detail; that torso is awexome! It's good enough that I forgive you for taking a break from Dino-Dreamboat. xD

Looks... interesting. Actually it's just really hard to see; for your next pic, I'd suggest a darker background to contrast the white lines.

Update, pretty close to final on the texture. Made the hat non-mirrored for extra detail. Can't decide whether I like the green or purple orb better, we'll see.

I'm pretty mad that "50 Shades of Nether" wouldn't fit legibly on the book cover :p
