Last year, which sounds strange to say, back on the 14th of December, I had my two week awaited surgery. It didn't go as planned. My left kidney had become swollen due to the kidney stone blocking the passage towards my bladder, which was causing me immense pain. So combined with that and my genetic kidney disease, they instead choose to go with yamming in a double pigtail catheter into my left kidney, going towards the bladder, thus presenting a work around to the issue, unloading stress from the kidney.

This in turn made the following first week horrible, because I kept feeling like I had to pee, when I really did not. The liquid that would flow out if I sat on the toilet was more often blood than anything, dripping endlessly like a leaking faucet. So I had to pad my shorts with paper in case of emergencies and had to lie down, trying to eat food that was nutritious and trying to figure out what would make my situation worse and what would not.

Right now though, the pain has dissipated and I am actually able to walk around, for hours without problems, as opposed to minutes as it was the first week. I still don't dare to sleep on my left side though, which has made my sleep pattern somewhat irregular since in many cases, I'd turn over on my left side in my sleep and that uncomfortable prodding sensation within me would wake me up.

But yeah, just the fact that I could enjoy the Christmas and New Years celebrations was lovely and got me into quite a lot better mood. Now, today, the sensation of the kidney stone is there. Like something nudging you slightly from inside. But yeah, I'm good, the pain is minimal. The next surgery is sometime this month. Or in the beginning of the next. The sooner the better, honestly.

I requested him to help me a while back, made a model for him and he promised to help me add alpha to them. Then I realized that, Well, I also need to cut it up in the appropriate pieces so that all he has to do is add alpha. I am a lazy bastard though and never got around to it.

In other news, might upload my Goblin Trade Prince Mech hero today though. I tweaked some animations and completed most of the alternate death animation, which was basically the only thing I had left. I was actually just about to test it when I saw your message.

Oh and my story is at chapter 18. I need to try and get me into the mood to start writing chapter 19. That is why I started working on the mech, distracting myself.
