MatiS: Check out this illustration from Gray's Anatomy for good reference on the muscles of the knee and upper thigh. It doesn't include the fat deposits but should give you a better idea of the big curves and shapes. I won't link photo references as they're probably NSFW![]()
Can model without animations crash the game? Looks like I already screwed mine model, it crashes the game. It has no geoset animations, I don't know what is causing the crash.
That's pretty unfortunate... What program do you use to make your models?
Mdlvis, Matrix Eater and Magos.

Started with a simple geoset of a model and then geomerge, since I don't really have access to advance tools that create vertex,

first ever wip. Would add a hood and currently i'm working on a mercenary mage or someone who attracts allies so he can get gold, an he uses magic of course. Just think he is a mage thief.
Any suggestions to make his face better? I'm aiming for a handsome guy thing but can't get rid of that ugly face.

Man, curse you and your wonderful world of WIPs... As always, love the colors & the chunkiness; just really feels like Warcraft to me (although the torso looks so folded & clunky?).Getting started on this, just blocking in the volumes. Currently 772 tris. Might try tinker around with the silhouette a bit before moving on to unwrapping. I'll probably convert some of the spheres to bilboarded planes, we'll see

Kyrbi0: Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on it. It works okay enough in-game but I wanna push the silhouette further, like about 30% more Phat.
PROXY: Cool idea! I feel like for an Eredar, her armor should be more radical and out-there; she looks kinda like a basic adventurer atm.
Quick texture update, all the colours are subject to change (haven't even thought about TC). Just doing a value pass and blocking in the big areas of colour. I put value and colour on separate layers (somewhat adapted from Michael Dashow's texture painting technique), which makes it easy to adjust things on the fly.
Probably need to make his hat and coat non-mirrored, haha.

My progress since the last WiP. Still trying to make him look handsome but keeping the wizard and the rouge theme. Anyways can someone help me find a texture for that hood? It should be brown and looks leather enough. Right now Sylvanas texture sucks.
Okay I'm slow but the deadline is still far so I have time to polish everything.
Will Medivh do well?

I must ask is model conversion a form of teamwork? I might go on a freehand one instead with custom texture, though i might keep the concept.

Looks... interesting. Actually it's just really hard to see; for your next pic, I'd suggest a darker background to contrast the white lines.WiP 2

Update, pretty close to final on the texture. Made the hat non-mirrored for extra detail. Can't decide whether I like the green or purple orb better, we'll see.
I'm pretty mad that "50 Shades of Nether" wouldn't fit legibly on the book cover
