I was just wondering what type of music anyone here likes or what type. I like rock form light to heavy. Some of my faveourites are Disturbed, Blink 182, Linkin Park, System of a Down etc.

Meh... screw all that.
Radiohead all the way. Then some Jamiroquai, New Order, Jeff Buckley, The Cure, !!!, Sigur Rós, The Rapture, The Beta Band, The Dandy Warhols, The Strokes, Pheonix, The White Stripes, Parliment, Vidar Busk, Velvet Underground and many more are nice too.

I have noticed some artist/ band's albums songs arent as good as their earlier ones, which is a bit dissopointing, but what can you do about it anyway.

Fav. Band?

Hey, I was wondering what your fav. bands were, please don't dissagree and start flaming one-another. This thread was created to introduce people to new bands as well as talk to eachother about what qualities in a band you like.

Me, I like Rock/Heavey Metal... Here is the newest band I've got an interest in, called My Chemical Romance http://ubl.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,1721940,00.html
I like them because they aren't all whining about how much they hurt from their girl friends dumping them. The songs have meanings and WORDS YOU CAN UNDERSTAND! As well as cool beats and rythms. Its mainly good energy.

John Butler Trio (small aussie band just getting big here) is good aswel. Also Joel Turner, beatboxer/rapper, just brought out his first album in aus and it ROCKs

Nickleback and red hot Chilli peppers r good

but my favourite bands are Linkin Park and Pete Murray (totally different ends of the scale but...)
