Belgarath got to the skill he is at right now very fast IMO. Never let other peoples skill hinder you, there is always going to be someone better than you.
Ah, you helped me out there, Void. I was going to ask someone if I could revive this thread. Gonna be making more terrains, working on some now.
Edit: Added a Village WIP and moved the Nazgul Survival screens + added a new one
*update: Hope this isn't necroposting, but I still want to use this thread. I added 2 screens of a depressive, empty ... place, fortress, whatever. I think I'll make the inside of it later on.
Btw, do you guys know of any high res skins / models?
• edit: added two more of the depressive series.
• edit: added the Outland, the land stretching a few miles from that castle. I might make something with this.
• edit: damn, I need real-texture models / units, else my map's never gonna work.
That's my current terrain. I need help making the cities look less medieval and more Napoleonic. Seeing as some of your terrain had a somewhat Napoleonic 'feel,' to them I thought you could help.
Sure, I'd like to help, as long as I have some pictures to guide me or something like that. I'm not completely sure as to how Napoleonic things look like, but I'd like to help.
Alright. I'm sorry, but I posted this right before bed and I just checked this one last time. So I'll post pictures of what I would like them to be similar too m'kay?
Alright, I'll check back on this thread after school. As well as the pictures, post the map and info on it in a PM, don't need to go too much off topic
