Just lots of screens shots, quite a few high resolution ones and other normal ones using and not using custom models. I think they all came out rather well.

I like the third one a lot. But the first two... meh, I think the cluttering of grass is either not enough or too much. Looks unrealistic tbh.
The first two needs more variation of environmental things such as trees and rocks too.

all of them are really nice, but my criticism applies to the second and third. firstly for the second pic, why does the ground suddenly drop off, make a few more trees or mountains to cover up that obvious separation between the ground and sky. In the third pic all i can say is that it has a good basis, but those trees dont "work" and ive never seen bushes sticking out of the hillside at a 45 degree angle

The first two don't look great for high-res. I can't tell you much about why, I haven't tried using them before.

The third is by far the best. The angle, lighting, and placement is awesome. The trees do ruin it slightly, but not much you can do. The last one is boring tbh. It lacks a good angle.

hmm i might agree with Gilles on this, but the first and second picture do show a lack of shrubbery or natural bushes that naturally populate a "forgotten" stream.

I totally agree with raging. The 5th shot is again an awesome angle, that is why it looks so nice. Oh and I don't like the few rocks on the side. Just use the rock tile, or use pure doodad. Not one or the other.

I think you should see some other High-res terrains Rvsoldier. Or look at any of MadseN's work.

Not to put down Belgarath, he's a very talented terrainer! Just doesn't pair up with some of the greats.

You need to work on your high-res. If you like them. I personally don't really like the high-res. It looks good, but I don't know, something bugs me.

The 2 new screens looks great, much better than your past work with High-res doodads. You've really succeded creating a dark and rainfull environment. It really fits in great and reminds me of how medieval villages looks in movies and such, good job.

Only bad thing that I noticed looking just now is that you placed some flowers with very light colors in the first picture, they don't fit, ruins the mood and looks like they take no rain damage.

The two new High-Res are a huge improvement! Well done.

The other one is nice, but pretty plain. Not much you can do... maybe a better angle?

Very nice work Belgrath. Your only flaw with High-Res doodads are you need to learn to blend textures with other textures that blend together well. A white rock in a dark grassy field isn't really that impressive. Although for your first submitted work of High-Res terrain, it isn't bad at all.
Keep practicing! I think you'll really get good if you keep at it.

The Jungle ones are so very stranglethorn vale! I like them a lot, nice work!
The mine is rather boring. Nothing special, nothing bad.
