Hey guys,

some time passed by and in the meanwhile, Arcadia - Rise and Fall won the 3rd Solo-Mapping-Contest here on THW as a few may have recognized!
Furthermore we're reaching the 4000th Download soon. Thanks again for playing and supporting Arcadia!

For this reason, I'm currently working on a great update with many fixes, features and new content.
Just check out the new presentation for the features and the fixes. Be sure to follow our other projects as well.
Our next release will be Warcraft III - Paranoia and probably Chernobyl - Lost Riddles when everything goes well.

Will you ever be releasing the models used in Arcadia?

A custom song is in the game too, am I right?

I tried downloading it, but there seems to be a problem. I used WinRAR to extract the file inside and put it into a separate folder, why is it that I can't see it in-game?

I love the terrain but the hexagon tiles pulls away from the awesome feel of the crystals to me so if possible you should maybe add something extra to them.

This is just the Prologue, in the first chapter you will see more crystals.

What do you say? (Don't wonder about the metal inventory cover, I think it will fit when you reach the higher chapters. I will replace that golem-part with a dystopian one)

Next things on the todo-list are the buttons/armortype/attributes/gold/lumber/food and the content/triggers for the prologue.

Ah yush, a very nice update.. I really like the Hexagons in the UI and I like how they go along in the "3d" part, however this can still be improved by adding the correct shading. Right now they are only fitting within the UI formwise - while the shading does look random mostly or not existant at all. Fixing that would be nice touch for sure.
 
The story really shines on a light on location, what is happening, and other things in Arcadia universe.

That's... a very intresting change I really, really like. I mean I just low the whole thing with actions and their consequences, and I suppose it will be intresting to change the reality...

You'll start in a ruined world, but you can't "change it back". The meta-grid is similar to the matrix.
You can interact with the system via interfaces and you can connect yourself to the meta-grid.
That system became sick, and you have to find a cure for it.

I have not seen this project before and im already impressed by the screenshots and videos.

There are very few maps out there that are good to keep an eye on and support. I say that this is one of them. We need more maps like these and commitment like this.

Are the hexagon tiles going to last throughout the meta level chapter? Or is it just for the prologue you mentioned, because frankly the v0.80c crystal terrain seemed...better. But great progress anyways! Good luck with it! Awesome UI.

Mh I don't think so. This time I will wait for feedback, creating the new version step by step to make it perfect.
So there will be a closed beta stage for early testing. If someone of you is interested, hit me up.
