Dude that's NOT an asteroid/meteorite. It's a moon/dwarf planet. Oh and since the moon is actually flying AWAY from us, moon falling over us would be hiiighly unprobable.

As for 2012, I know I dreamed some Earth cataclysms, but hardly 2012. Our Astronomy professor told us of a more possible meteorite whose orbit crosses the Earth's and may kiss our planet goodbye in that year. I think they even mentioned or even did a movie about 2028. Well, there are weapons that can destroy these objects in space probably even change their destination, so don't be scared
