Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.

Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.

Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.

Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

I like your campaing too much, i wish to make one like yours xD... the only bad for me it's your invetory, you should make a trigger to have bags and each one has extra slots for items. I saw that from someone... Phodom the Paladin has too sad story :p his family died...
The 2nd story has a funny character looks like a thieft xD... nice campaing anyway, the only boring for me was the 3 map with the ice mage... Reason: when i saved the game in a boss i killed it and after i tryed to drop an item and my hero died, then when i loaded the game it was an older load. anyway 5/5 for me nice campain!! Make a better story for the Phodom the paladin!! Make a new family xD

~Story~
Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth were the former dragon slayers in the war. The war ended 12 years ago when the humans defeated the dragons. The war was countless centuries long and people don’t remember how it started and why. After the war kingdom of Balgaron have lived since peacefully life.

However, Galeoth's obsession to find his murdered father forced him to start a new journey, once again. This time his destination is the Icy Mountains. In there, he faced terrible truth.

Somehow or something forces Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth to team up and therefore they need to travel a long jorney to contend powerful enemies and to face their mysterious dreams.

This is an epic story of peace, war, hate and love, set in a massive world of Oelivert.


~Basic information~
This is a campaign I have been working over half year now. It's my last and the best project. When I leave Warcraft III I hope my name will be remember a long time as a legend. So I have tried to put all my old projects to this huge campaign. I'm still doing this project, so feedback is very welcome.

~Features~
This is a very long campaign. It includes currently Prologue, chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 7, 8, 9 and two interludes. Over 100 cinematic, 400 items and much, much more. This campaign takes hours and hours to complete.

~Alpha Version~
Yes, this is still alpha version which means I have not finished the campaign. I still need to finish chapter 10, 11 and epilogue. I hope you understand that here is lot of bugs. I try to finish the campaign and same time you guys check if there is bugs so I can repair them. It really saves my time.

~Your Job~
Your job is play and comment. When you have played/you are playing you must give me:
=> Suggestions(example if something bother you in the campaign!)
=> Balances(if boss or unit is too weak/strong tell me and I try to balance it!)

~Creators experience~
I have have been doing maps about 3 years now. In this short time I have finished 16 maps. Map called "Mystery Of Friza" is little similiar to this campaign. I did that map at 2006 christmas. Some may know that game. It's also long RPG but with only one hero and epic story. I have also made some cinematics and multiplayer maps. But hey, the list is too long and it's boring to write everything so let's skip rest of my maps. So after all, I can say that I'm very experienced map maker.

~Notes~
=> This is almost 100 mb big file. Be patient while downloading.
=> Try to give me much as possible feedback so I can make this campaign better.
=> I will update these texts later so it's possible that here is some wrong texts.

- And much more new items. Here is an example of excellent new item: Resurrection Phial - Death need not be the end. Resurrection is possible with this. Restores 100% of the dying unit's health and mana after resurrection.
- Added more honor points to chapters and some items items costs less honor points to buy.
- Changed Phodom's unit ability X to Fire Aura: An aura that gives Phodom a magical flame shield, which deals damage(Strenght x ability level) to enemy unit that are attacking you. Has 10 second cooldown. Also gives a 10% chance that an attack will deal X damage to nearby units.
- Give Up - You can carry over your gold and honor points and restart a game from the beginning. Everything else will be removed and only chapter 1 is avaible next to play. However, this helps you greatly and with the saved resources you can spend to get more powerful items at the beginning already.
- New cursor!
- Fixed minor bugs you guys mentioned.
- Changed chapter 6 key system. Now it's much easier.

Version 1.9 Alpha To Version 2.0 Alpha:
- Chapter 10 added.
- Fixed bugs you guys mentioned.

Version 2.0 Alpha To Version 2.0b Alpha:
- Fixed box loading bug at chapter 10.
- Fixed boxes, now they don't use vitality and don't have collision.

Version 2.0b Alpha To Version 2.0c Alpha:
- Ten new item sets: Ruby Axe, Sapphire Axe, Topaz Axe, Francisca, Crystal, Diamond, Jade, Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz. Ruby Axe, Sapphire Axe, Topaz Axe and Francisca are synthesis items.

These things I will add sooner or later.
- Elite Bosses: Bosses that are stronger than regular bosses. These bosses give good stuff but are hard to defeat. Also included to story somehow. Will be in every chapter.
- Epic bosses: Even stronger than elite bosses. These bosses are so strong, that you have to finish the game at least once to defeat these bosses. Bosses are in every chapter just like basic or secret bosses.
- All cinematics to skipable, grammar fixes and deselect(no green circle) in cinematics.
- Super mega über cool interface! I need someone's help!
- Food texts to upkeep.
- Finish chapter 7 terrain.
- Finish chapter 8 terrain.
- Finish chapter 10 terrain.
- Whole new prologue(shorter, better fight scene).
- Sexy command buttons! Need to create those first but I don't know how! I also need help these are suppose to be related to dragons or something. X_x
- Guys/books/other things that tells about the story. I have lot of texts but I have not imported them yet to the campaign. I need some time to do this. Example: chapter 5 Talloon tells how the war started, why, etc.
- A little story about trees in chapter 4. Like Flame_Phoenix told me.
- New spells to heroes! Player can choose his/her own spells at the beginning of campaign!



This tells you bugs that have not been fixed yet.

- Chapter 7 digging place is still bugful. Trying to find solution.
- Tier 5 darkness spell is not added to the campaign(suppose to be in chapter 10).
- Tier 6 darkness spell is not added to the campaign(suppose to be in chapter 10).
- Tier 6 fire spell is not added to the campaign(suppose to be in chapter 10).



This tells you something important that you should know.

- Prologue is currently disabled. I'm working with new and great one!

Anyway,
I do not understand Axobada's mission, I killed all his summons, and then killed Axobada himself. The magic wall was still there. Any help?

Yea, yea right. I try to change Phodom's story little then. Soon I will change all texts to better. My friend is currently working on the texts. Thanks to him!

I'm going today to another friend of mine. I will upload the campaign from there. Hopefully everything goes fine and 2.1 is uploaded. It does not include chapter 11, instead it includes 4 new item sets(I already told before). Also, all sold items will now give 75% of it's maximum instead of 50% and all bugs you guys are fixed.

EDIT: Campaign is updated now.

You can't kill Axobada unless you used cheats. There should be a cinematic after you have killed all his minions. And btw, General Frank is currently doing the model for Axobada so it's temporarily a paladin model. Shame, that he have not finished it yet.

EDIT 2: Ohh, the preview is missing. Well, whatever I will put it back at the next version.

And I forgot to mention that from now on, minimum movement speed is 100 and the maximum speed is 522. Before it was 150 and 400(just like in basic games).

EDIT 3: And that new area at chapter 2, northeast is not finished yet. There will be "epic boss" at beta 1.0. Or perhaps earlier, who knows?

Phodom's Fire aura is level 1.
These bugs are from version 2.0c, they might have been fixed.
EDIT: Now that you've made the maps bigger to make place for the epic bosses (I'm referring to chapters 1 and 2), there is a lot of unused space. Wouldn't it be better to place the epic bosses in the already existent area? For example, in chapter 2, the area in the lower left corner of the maps seems unused.
EDIT 2: In version 2.1, there's something wrong with the main image.

Yeah, there are several monsters in this game he says aren't killable, they are. It just takes creative use of potions and tubes.

What? What? What? I don't see in this sentence head or tail. X_x

It's been long time with terraining. Now I finished that murloc place I started to do couple of hours earlier. I think it's quite good but not anything super. There will be a murloc boss, I don't know what it drops but I think it will drop something that you need to do another synthesis item.

those pics/terrains are good..but can you make a lil but more water??as an example in WoW the murlocs live near the banks, but theirs lots of water...but if theirs not much room size in the map then do w/e the hell your doing, cuz its alright

Ok! Thanks for suggestions! However, now I started to do first elite & epic fight just for testing. These two fights will be in chapter 1. This is the area of elite fight. Later I will create rest of those elite & epic fights to all other chapters. More information at the campaing's description.

Aero, I have a request: the cinematics that you are doing for the next versions or the ones that you are fixing, could you please make them skippable? They are really well made and I watched them, but I've already played every chapter at least 3 times and skippable cinematics would help with the testing. I think this way helps you a bit too. You said that you were going to make them skippable in the beta version, but why modify them later when you could make the final version of the already?

Aero, I have a request: the cinematics that you are doing for the next versions or the ones that you are fixing, could you please make them skippable? They are really well made and I watched them, but I've already played every chapter at least 3 times and skippable cinematics would help with the testing. I think this way helps you a bit too. You said that you were going to make them skippable in the beta version, but why modify them later when you could make the final version of the already?
I try my best. First, I try to make first chapter's all cinematics to skipable. Then I will make new version and release it. Then we check if there's bugs and if there's no bugs I do that to rest chapters. However, I have never done a skipable cinematic so I have to first learn how to do it. I check that Blizzard's mini-campaign.

Nice job so far on chapter 10, it really gives an enclosed feeling like being in a cave with everything being so narrow.
Anyway, I think when I clicked for a Combat King off Avareon it gave me potions instead.
Also I haven't found the item claymore. Does anyone know where it is?

It seems like you can only buy it from chapter 11. My mistake, now you can buy it also from chapter 7 and 8. It's not a good weapon, but good for synthesis if I remember right.

Also maybe you should increase the damage for Fradz Holy Storm spell. By the time you get to 200 dmg(Level 5), fradz already does about 150 Damage on average and attacks a couple times per second. What do you think?

Yes, I will change whole spell. It's shit now, I know. In future it will do like this:

Holy Storm(Basic Hero Spell) - Causes a holystorm of magical force around the Fradz, rendering him immune to magic, healing Fradz by X% and dealing X damage per second to nearby enemy land units. |nLasts 5 seconds. [Level change: Damage + Heal]

My personal opinion is that somewhere around the last chapters (let's say chapters 9, 10 and probably 11) the spells are just to weak. By that time, I only use spells that stun, reduce armor or improve the heroes, because I feel that I do more damage if I attack normally rather than cast spells. My suggestion was that the spells wouldn't do a set amount of damage, but depend more on the heroes' stats.
I could be wrong, so I expect comments for Aero and other users as well, telling me if you agree or not.

I agree, I find most of Fradz' spells to be pretty useless late game. I kind of like lightning, because you can kite bosses and such around with it, So it's kind of useful there. I think a stat or level based spell would probably be better (maybe level of char * level of spell * X or something like that?)

You are right. I will change all spells damage to based on level + intelligence points. So if you have high intelligence point, your spells are a lot stronger. Perhaps you have saw, that Galeoth is first strong, but when enemies become stronger, his spells starts to be useless(except stun & slow spells).

I have already made a test map to test new abilities and other things. However, it takes time to test these new systems and will only be in beta. I now try to make chapter 1 to 100% and then chapter 11. After that, I start to do new ability selection system and then beta 1.0 is up!

Also, I just heard that I'm going next week to somekind of school for almost 2 weeks. This means I cannot do the campaign for this time. Well, then I got few weeks and school starts! Oh noooes! Then 10 weeks hard study, then I'm free for 4 months perhaps untill I find a job! Then again after christmas I have to study and then big exams and then I'm totally free! Unless I have to go next summer to army for half year.

I don't know if it should be based on level + intelligence points. Because if they are based on intelligence + level, Phodom and Frandz have way less intelligence that Galeoth, meaning they cast spells that do less damage AND have less mana to cast those spells.
Maybe level + main stat of hero would be better?

Hmmm... now I know. It depends of the spell. Example "Thunder" needs intelligence points to be stronger, but "Teleport Strike" needs agility points to be stronger. What do you think about this, guys?

There will be lot more spells in future to choose. 11(spells each category) x 6(category) x 3(heroes) = 198. Well, okay this is perhaps too much, but I will put more spells later and later.

Just like when I released 1.5 I just got about 200 items. Now I got 360 and still increasing. I just made a item set which is like Excalibur. There is 6 pieces you can get from chapter 1-6:
First Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 2 hit point.
Second Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 2 hit point.
Third Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 3 hit point.
Fourth Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 3 hit point.
Fifth Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 4 hit point.
Sixth Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 4 hit point.

Ahh, just wanna say that this game is great, there are lots of hidden passageways in every chapter, i also like the idea of the questionnaire at the end of the chapter, i'm already in the chapter where Phodom will meet Fradz but the problem is i cannot see him, well. . .

The problem is perhaps that you have not finished chapter 2. Heroes are saved for next chapter. The campaign is currently open from chapter 1 to chapter 10 because it's alpha. Soon I will release beta 1.0. However, it may still take 1-2 months perhaps because I have to go somekind of strange school for 2 weeks far away from my home.

Hmmm depending on the spell sounds pretty good. Also, will you make the spell so that the effects also depend on the stats? Example: the more strength you have, the more armor reduction Phodom's Meltdown gives (I think that's the name of the spell).

a bug in version 2.1
In chapter 2:in the temple,i can't get the mana suck because a stone block the road.
BTW...how can i enter the two portal gate?
In synthesis shop,i find two topaz axe ,fix it plz.
How can i get the ruby,topaz ,sapphire and axeh(perhaps axe)?

You can buy gems from chapter 7 and 11 only. Later I will put some gems to groud so people can find them also. Of course they are rare.

The damage will go like this:
Spell Base Damage + [ Agility/Intelligence/Strengh(Spell's attribute) X 3 ] + [ Low Magic Ball X 10 ] + [ Moderate Magic Ball X 30 ] + [ High Magic Ball X 100 ]

Example, Lvl 50 Phodom with Lvl 5 Fire Explode. Phodom also have exactly 100 intelligence points and have in inventory 5 low magic ball, 5 moderate magic ball and 2 high magic ball. The damage goes like this:

200(Spell base damage) + 300(Intelligence plus) + 50(5 low magic ball) + 150(5 moderate magic ball) + 200(2 high magic ball) = 900 damage. Currently, you can only have 400 damage. So this gives you a lot more power to create your own heroes. So if you want that your Phodom is good with magics, just give him lot of intelligence and those magical balls.

Of course it's stupid to carry low and moderate magic balls at this high level so there is possibility to combine those lower magic balls to higher magic balls. Also, I will half the current magics damage so they are not so imba.

In chapter 2,i find two portal gate in the map(the right edge).What effect they have?
In chapter 6,i think two hero unable to get things inside the iron gate.I may be limited capacity.

It's a bug. They should not be owned by player 1. Changed now to passive. Later, there will be "epic boss".

Ooh, nice to know that you had played my games. It's always nice to hear that. However, now is your turn to show me something. Perhaps you are a map maker? Take a look at the campaign. Learn from it and then make a own map or perhaps a campaign!
