Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.

Most of the item descriptions are updated.

Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.

Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.

Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Galeoth model is now changed. Thanks Fan for starting the model and making most of it and Kitabatake for finishing it.

A new system! Boss status system. All thanks for Maker who created this system.
Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.
Chapter 1 Boss and Chapter 1 Elite Boss are now slightly stronger and they have some new special abilities.
Multiboard is now slighly different.
Fixed a large amount of smaller and bigger bugs.

Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.

Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

Yes.... there is a problem ... I get an error that says that the file I am loading is different from the file I have in hard disk ... which means: cache problem maybe ...
Btw, played the campaign for 2 mins, found 2 bugs.

You could tell them, aeroblyctos can't read mind! :xxd:

By the way, Aeroblyctos, what means that phrase in the "things i make in future", "super mega uber cool UI"?

Okay i've played the first chapter now, and i can give u some critics right away aye?

At first you should (This is your last project but whatever) probably look at the warcraft campaign for a good example, because i think it has addicting gameplay. Also the terrain, i had the feeling it could be alot better, and also you can see the end of the world, and if you look at blizzards campaign you're NEVER able to see the end of the map. They always cover it up so it looks like you're really in a different world.

TFT goes a little different, but anyways i find that the story starts a bit lame but ok =p I mean, you would not expect a legendary dragon slayer to do simple jobs for 200 gold but fine. The gameplay and all is good but i was indeed really annoyed that i CANT skip cinematics and also by the strange sentences, which i can't give an example of because they are way to weird translated. Anyway this campaign should keep you bussy for quite some time, still i find it also very annoying that you can't cheat. Im sorry but i think you should be able to, just because you don't want people to cheat gives a very forced feeling to it all and when you can't get further somewhere im rather like 'Fuck it, im going to do something else' then like 'Lets try that again'.

Also maybe a good option is to implent that you can do the hard parts (Like bosses) over, like when you die at the golem you get a dialog with 'Try Again' so you don't have to save your last save again. Anyways, i've just played the first chapter so i probably didn't see everything but this campaign is good. But its just different, but im sorry to say you just can't defeat the Spider Queen 2 Campaign =p

You really should play the 2nd+ levels of the campaign before passing judgment, the first level was probably the least entertaining of the bunch (Except the Shadow Golem fight)

BTW, just a request, is there any was I can talk you out of removing that STUPID mountain man + Fradz sequence on level 2? Going through THAT, and then dying to the guy with the 2nd son is a real bitch. I almost died the second (4th now because I am replaying it) time through it.

Idea

I almost did nothing on chapter 2, i killed the boar dude, got over the bridge, killed the centaur and got to chapter 3 =/ it was very short.... although i had like 6 undiscovered quests, why the hell would i do them =p

Lol, the main quest maybe short, but I always look the optionals for rewards... :spell_breaker: :con:

When I killed him, I used Fradz's ultimate ability and lots of potions. Then it was quite easy.

You don't need to! They are just optional! (but I suggest to get in this chapter: Second sword, magic orb, thunder stone and Archeon's set!)

Ooh, my campaign is rated! I was hoping that it would be done later when it's finished but whatevah!

Btw guys, I think this is not the time to rate the campaign. It's still in ALPHA level which means this is far from over, I have still have lot do in EVERY CHAPTER(including chapter 1, etc.). I will listen your guys opinions to make the campaign better!

Is there any download problems anymore? I had to upload the campaign yesterday twice this might be the problem. Currrently I'm at countryside like I said earlier so I can do campaign less now. However, tell some bugs I try to fix them.

Argh... I forgot to tell the commands to you guys. Here is the list of current commands at the campaign:
-lockP - Lock camera to Phodom.
-lockF - Lock camera to Fradz.
-lockG - Lock camera to Galeoth.
-far - Look far away(+200).
-close - Look close(-200).
-look - Look close(+200).
-lookR - turns your camera right.
-lookL - turns your camera left.
-reset - resets your camera.
-give up - You can carry over your gold and honor points and restart a game from the beginning. Everything else will be removed and only chapter 1 is avaible next to play. However, this helps you greatly and with the saved resources you can spend to get more powerful items at the beginning already.

And finally, thanks everyone for comments, +rep, credits given at the campaign!

Suggestion: Add a prompt screen at the end of a level, something like "Are you ready to go to the Icy Mountains?" or "Are you ready to battle the centaurs and move on to the next chapter of our story?"
I think this would be useful because then you would know you have reached the end of a chapter, so you could go back if you have some unfinished secondary quest, are not done exploring or want to buy something before you go on.

Also, the description on some of the items doesn't match the actual bonuses that you receive. The only item I remember right now is Azureus Shoulders: description says that it gives 12 armor, you get only 5 armor. Now that 1.9 is out, I'll play it and tell you if I find any other item that's in the same situation. Just one problem: I still can't play it. A download a 90mb file with a random name that is not recognized by warcraft. Hope that's fixed soon, I really want to play it :D

Oh yea, you have a very good point. I have been thinking about it and now I will made it. So, if you want to go next chapter or fight against boss/elite boss/ epic boss there will be a dialog if you want to enter.

I have the same problem. rather than saying that 1.9 is a "Warcraft 3 expansion scenario file" it says that its just a "file" and i cant open it up or play it.

Yes, I just proved Aeroblyctos that I'm from Finland ^^. (Languange-race :xxd:) :grin: I've been middle alpha tester so I don't know about this "I can't dl cause it crashes" - thing. :eekani:

I just downloaded it and it works just fine now.
I'll play more the following days, now I've only tried the beginning of same maps to make sure they work.
I see that the orbs combine properly now.
Good idea with the give up command, offers replayability.
I like the new mouse. Minor glitch about it: it shakes when I place it above an allied unit (when it turns green). Also, if you can, I think it would be a good idea to rotate the dragon head (the mouse icon I mean) so the nose of the dragon points towards the top left of the screen. I hope you understand what I mean, it's kinda hard to describe in words.
Did you (are are you going to) add the ability to the boxes to be summoned to the hero's position?
I've never tried, but to the Combat King magazines combine?
If not, I have an idea: an item (a combat king collection or something) that you could click on and choose a bonus (critical, bash, evasion etc.) depending on the combat king magazines that you have collected so far. Each magazine you would find would be added to this collection or whatever. I have almost no experience working with the map editor, so I don't know if this actually can be done, it's just an idea.

You mean set, huh? Well usually set requires up to 6 items only, cause that's max inventory space that can have. And combat kings out there is 7 different ones... I rly don't think that's possible. :con:

I totally agree that giving a hero bash and critical and evasion and all the other stuff that you receive from the magazines, all at the same time, would be unbalanced. But my idea was that only one bonus would be active at a time, one that you could change depending on the circumstances. For example, while the magazines are in Fradz's inventory, the would give bash, because Frandz has a high attack speed, thanks to the Sword Dance. But if you gave the magazines to Galeoth, you could change the effect to evasion, because it would be more useful.

You have to find stones at chapter 4. First stone suppose to be middle of the map(north from magic orb). Once you get that stone, it says where is next stone. And after fourth stone you meet him(btw, mielipuoli means in english "psychopatic"). :D

Any problems? Bugs? Anything, guys(or prehaps girls!?)? I have been thinking that player can choose their spells at beginning of campaign to heroes. So there is many spells to choose spells for your heroes(1 unit spell, 4 basic hero spell, 1 ultimate spell). Is it a good idea or should I stay with current one?

Sooo... this means I need lot of fire, lightning and ice based hero spells that have 5 levels. Perhaps someone is willing to create me some? It would be awesome! I will give you rep here and credits at the campaign. However, no JASS spells, just basic GUI shit(no need to be MUI and waits are acceptable in spells) and I'm happy(also it have to be easy editable so I can change damage + status effects)!

I have not wrote here the current spells but they are also choose able once this is finished. Idea is: you can choose your spells(1 unit spell, 4 basic hero spell, 1 ultimate spell) at the beginning of campaign. I think it gives some variation!


Warcry - Phodom yells a battle shout that increases his attack damage by X% for 10 second. This spell does not need any mana.
[Level change: Damage]

Fire Smash - Smash a targeted enemy unit with a hammer and great fire damaging it by X and stunning for 3 second.
[Level change: Damage]

Fire Curse - Casts a tricky fire to a enemy unit that deals X damage per second and reduces attack damage by X%. |nLasts 10 seconds.
[Level change: Damage + curse power]

Flamethrower - Casts eight flames around Phodom dealing X damage to nearby units.
[Level change: Damage]

Meteor Strike(Ultimate) - Summons a huge meteor from the sky moving slowly to targeted area. When it hits to ground, it stuns for 5 second and deals X damage to all enemy units in the area.
[Level change: Damage]



Holy Storm(Basic Hero Spell) - Causes a holystorm of destructive force around the Fradz, rendering him immune to magic, heals Fradz by X% and dealing X damage per second to nearby enemy land units. |nLasts 5 seconds. [Level change: Damage + Heal]

Thunderline - Casts a lightning line to a selected direction dealing and slowing all units on it's way.
[Level change: Damage]

Thunder Fury(Ultimate) - Stuns a targeted enemy unit for 5 second and teleports behind it and attacks quickly dealing X(spell lvl x agility) damage.
[Level change: Damage]

Thunder Shield - Creates a thunder shield a targeted friendly unit. When a enemy attacks to you while you have thunder shield it deals counter damage(agility + intelligence + strengh x lvl) to attacking enemy unit. |nLasts 10 seconds.
[Level change: Damage]



Party Restore(Basic Hero Spell) - Heals nearby friendly units' health and mana to full. If Galeoth is damaged in any way, channeling stops. |nLasts 10 seconds. [Level change: Decrease cooldown]


Ice Armor - Creates a shield of frost around a target friendly unit. The shield adds X armor and slows melee units that attack it for 2 seconds. Also it heals tarted friendly units by X% per second. |nLasts 30 seconds.
[Level change: Armor & Health percent]

Ice Crystal - Freezes a tarted unit for 10 second. While in frozen it heals the targeted unit's health & mana by X%. |nLasts 10 seconds.
[Level change: Health Percent + Decrease cooldown]


Here are spells I will made just for warming. I'm not sure if I will made all these it depends how fast I'm. It would be nice to see some more spells from you guys!

Chapter 1:
Why do the items from Maragath's and Archeon's sets have such a long cooldown before they are available to be bought?
Maragath's Belt: 10% to recover 1% health is way too little. I suggest you increase the chance of happening and also the percentage of life healed.
During the Worm Killing quest, after I've killed about half of the worms, I get a message in which Phodom says that there are no worms anymore, although they are. You can't finish the quest either until you've actually killed all of the worms.
The sword that you buy from the honor shop for 20 honor points, it's called Dark Sword while it's at the shop, buy when you buy it, it's name is Cursed Blade.
After Phodom's family is killed, you could follow the road and reach the end of the level without knowing that there are 2 other bosses aside from the Ormster (the Assassin and the Ogre Leader). Maybe add some messages, like "Many people have dissapeard while heading towards Dalli. Maybe you should check it out" and "It is rumored that the Ogre Leader has arrived near Dalli".
If you want to place something in the box, you are always asked if you want to rest. It's a bit annoying sometimes. Possibly move the box a little to the right, near the 2 hay stacks?
The boss in Richard's field is referred to sometimes as Ormster, sometimes as Ormester.
What's in the top right of the map? I haven't been able to reach it.
The Riddle Questions work sometimes, but not always. I finished the quests for chapter 1 and the questions appeared. But then I loaded the game because I had forgotten to buy the set items. When I finished the map again, the questions did not appear, only the answers.

Chapter 2:
There's a guy names Molson I believe that's just standing on a hill. You can get to him via the barbarian camp, but he just says "Go away, I want to be alone." What's his role?
Once how many levels does the Fire Aura/Sword Dance/Summon ability levels up? Because throughout this chapter, the Sword dance did not upgrade (Frandz started the chapter at level 5 and finished at level 10).

Chapter 3:
It says I have an idle worker. When I click on the icon, it takes me to the ice wall, the one I can't get past. Same thing for chapter 9.

At the Synthesis shops, Excalibur is used in 2 combinations. Did you want it that way, for the player to choose 1 of the 2 recipes? Personally, I would like to be able to have both synthesis items, but it's your call.
At the beginning of each chapter, there is a small portion of the map that is revealed, the place where the anti-cheat taker it.
During the cinematics, you should deselect the heroes, for them not to have the green ring around them. I think it would look better that way.
-mb seems to work fine. I was thinking that the boxes should have a spell to teleport them to the heroes, but since the command works, leave it like this.

I've written about everything I found in the first 3 chapters. Most of theses mistakes are minor, but why no correct them nevertheless?

Should I continue to write about the other chapters or do you want me to stop here? :D

lvl 4: merchant duplicated after finishing his quest.
lvl 5: upon loadingmy game into that lvl. not starting that lvl i encountered a lighting inversion. all that would normaly be iluminated was black and all thats usualy in shadow or dark was bright. sole exceptions including the HUD, and fog of war areas. those places are still black. big issue, ill have to start the area over again and blast through it. could be just me though.

Chapter 2: Near the bridge, could you add another shop, an honor shop or one with some better items? It would speed up the completion of the map, in case you used "-give up" and now have a lot of gold.
Chapter 4:sanjuro already pointed out that there are 2 merchants that sell the same thing. Level is a bit too easy in my opinion. Maybe the Ring of Wild Life should be dropped by a boss instead of just sitting there (one of the carnivorous plants maybe?).
Chapter 5: Wolfs are a bit too tough for the little experience they give. Either reduce the attack or they should give more xp when killed.
EDIT: I forgot, make all the characters that are in the shops invulnerable. I was able to kill some shopkeepers from Dragon Inn :D

2.Where is the Thunder stone?In Chapter 5 or Chapter 2?

It's a mysterious bug I have been trying to to fix but still, I have not find any way to fix it. Strange indeed!

Those abilities have 10 levels. Lvl 1: 1-4, Lvl 2: 5-9, Lvl 3: 10-14...

Yup, there's 6 different spell books currently: Fire Book, Great Fire Book, Ice Book, Great Ice Book, Lightning Book, Great Lightning Book...

In Chapter 2 I find the lighting stone and the electric stomp,where is the Thunder stone ?
When the hero carry the Maragath's set,the set can't increase the hero's armor.
In the end of the Chapter 6,the heros can't to exchange goods.

in one point of the game there is a huge probleme with the heros fadz become phodom and phodon became fadz speed of mouvment so phadom move faster tha fardz

the darck messi don't give me annythink when i kill him also the gate isn't blocked you can run out when you whant

also when i kill xada he don't give me the jewel

sugetion:try to add more money because next we are going to need a lot

honestly man I m a littelle desapointed in chap 7 in other version it worked greatly(exepte golem quest)so thats why i didin't complete testing when the diging quest didi'nt worked proproly

also the ithems in the synthetic shop don't work properly(hit point regenerattion don't work in almost all ithem of syntetic shop)

you should really fix that


also the probleme of the box:you eed to go a verry long distance to go to put ithem in the is really anoying try to add a teleport skill to
sugestion:try to add teleport skills to one of them or beter you should try to find a good spell that create teleport so you can go in and out


also i must tell you should really think for an expension of this compaign:(the dragon ho talk to fradz have others plans...)because its really good

Boxes have a teleport command: -mb
I never had any problems with money. If you're referring that the synthesis items cost a lot, then I think that's the way Aero wanted, for players not to be able to buy too many of those items. There's also the possibility to use "-give up"
Chapter 5: After you put flowers on both the graves and you kill Zombie Jack and receive Summon Skeleton, you still receive a message if you go near the graves (the messages with "Nobody ever puts flowers on my grave" and the other). Are the flowers supposed to dissapear after you place them near the graves?
While you are in the basement of Dragon Inn, you are able to see a part of the landscape outside.
If you select both boxes at the same time and you move your mouse over one of them in the selection screen (between the portrait and the inventory), it says Phodom's box and the description for a worker. Same for Frandz's box.

yes you are right

i was talking to sytethic ithem somme of them are verry expensive but usless in this state of the game(probleme that the regenaration)
i realy loved the new staf that you added ,nice man!!

I said about the first chapter that the box is too close to the house. It's not necessary to move it now, since we have the -mb command. But I found another bug :D. If I scroll the map until I get above the village, I can see some of the houses, like there is no fog of war there, though I have not reached the village yet. I can't see anything else except the houses, the surrounding area is still undiscovered.

Okay, I fixed almost all expect that digging thing. I will look that later because it's hard to fix. Thanks so much for you. Put me to your MSN list and we can talk more. Hmm... that's a little bug I will fix it in no time! And nooooo, they don't need to dissapear.

I like that campaign but it's boring to see the same cinematics 2 or 3 times without a chance to skip them. Please make them skipable indeed it's a hard pain if you forgot to save.
