Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.

Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.
Added proper descriptions to the difficulties.




Removed some test items from chapter 1 beginning.




Chapter 6 is now opened.
Now Item Sets have own unique icons.
Honor Shop Disabled. "Ability Bonus" system will be added later to the campaign that replaces Honor Shop Items.
Remade Esper System.
Remade Summon System.
Remade some of the spell book spells.
Chapter item descriptions to easier to read.
Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.
Also changed Professions bonuses.
Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.

Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.
Spell book spells are cooldown are now changed. Here are the cooldowns from first to fourth 90/180/300/once per chapter.
Dozens of smaller and bigger bug fixes.




Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.
Items Zwill Blade and Aerial Shoes are now made stronger




Chapter 3 is now open.
Fixed Combat Kings where they were always rested to level 1 after loading.
Fixed a difficulty settings in chapter 2 as they were too weak for the stronger difficulties. Now enemies are stronger as they should be(ATK: 0%/0%/10%/20%/30% & HP: 0%/0%/15%/45%/75%).
Changed Ground Zero's cooldown from 20 seconds to 15 seconds
Edited Aura Of Fire, now it also do damage per second.

There's 5 + 1 item in Azurous set. Those items you can get from chapter: 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11. Extra item will appear once you have all those five items.

Hmmm... That could have idea for buying potions, when hp and mana goes low... But still that i attacked to that "bear", it lost about 1/12 of it's hp, and when i tried to run out, he killed me first :( could you example make its shockwave ability damage some down?

You can avoid whole spell if you are wise enough.

Hmm... I know what you mean, always before shockwave there shows a strange thing, i think that if i go away from it, it disappears... :gg: By the way, on every post you, Aeroblyctos send, you have your made maps (maybe some campaigns) under your text, there shows only 2 that can found, are the others even made?

I'm not sure what is your qustion. Can you please explain little more?

Next version will be in few days. My friend is creating a new spell for Fradz. Also I have changed Phodom's unit spell to other. Soooo... let's hope he will create it soon! However, next version will not include chapter 10.

Btw guys, I just made two new items. These are:

Resurrection Phial - Death need not be the end. Resurrection is possible with this. Restores 50% of dying units health and mana after resurrection.

Strong Resurrection Phial - Death need not be the end. Resurrection is possible with this. Restores 100% of dying units health and mana after resurrection.

Removed anti-cheat? Should be fun to get to chapter 7 cause that's nice city ^^ Found out it cause clicked on that chapter, but cause of something it didn't worked :cry: I mean the chapter begun, but there were no heroes :(

The reason is because you need a save from previous chapter. So you must complete chapter 6 to get heroes in chapter 7. Reason is:

Woohoo!

Hmm... I haven't seen yet any other bugs... But I will tell if I find some ^^

FOUND BUG MAYBE... I'm in chapter 7 the chosen ones, I've entered the mystic portal, but inside something kicks me start when I try to get forward! Is it a bug, or what? If not, plz tell how to do plz -_-.

Bugging day...

Okay, thanks, I will try.

But there is maybe another bug, I went to digging area, and when I started to dig a place, it just tried it all time! I couldn't even move Phodom anywhere, it justs DIGGED all time, until digging time ended, money for nothing -_-:con:

OH NO, keeps bugging... I'm still in chapter 7, and I've collected the 3 items: St..., at..., and ue..., and they become one item: summon statue golem (or what it was). Then I summoned it, and it had spell that works like taunt, but that taunt required MANA, and that golem didn't had MANA. SO is that bug?

Okay, I havn't read through the pages to see if these problems have been addressed, but here goes.
Lvl 2: Change the Music >< It gets annoying quick, Kinda like it did in FF7. As for actual problems, even after finishing the quest to use the bridge, it still won't let you use it.
Lvl 3: It's impossible to go down the left path, even if you destroy the ice gate.
Lvl 4: Nearly impossible if you don't do the merchants quest quickly, or if you don't find the flower fountain, but no actual bugs.
Lvl 5: I Couldn't find the entrance to the basement?? Did you have to choose to destroy the castle to get to it maybe? I tried everything else. BTW, you can see the vampire by going over next to the gargantuan turtle, which gives the answer to the riddle question, even if you couldn't find the basement, (You should prolly fix this)
Lvl 6: You can break the "Black Gate" to the west of the center hallway (Near the bottom), It needs to be made indestructible. The blue door says it requires the red key (The text is blue tho). Also, the stupid fking skeleton sidequest, can sometimes bug and leave one of your characters trapped outside.


OK, BIG BUG, FIX THIS ASAP, I noticed that it was IMPOSSIBLE to combine the magic stones I had on Phodom with the magic stonee I had on Fradz, My guess is that it didnt register the magic stone (The magic gem I found on the level combined just fine, this was on lvl 5 BTW) And I was forced to leave a magic gem 1 behind. Please fix this bug, it's GAY. I believe the problem has something to do with the stones being carried over from a previous map not being recognized as combineable.

There are several issues in which barriers that were used to prevent people from going somewhere are not removed after the quest that should allow you through is completed, or the event that should let you through is completed. I speak of the bridge on LVL 2 and the ice barrier on the left path. If at ALL possible, please rectify this problem.

Ok, now for a HUGE MASSIVE WTF BIG BUG. Lvl 1 of Fradz Ulti (Lightning Orb) doesn't do 50 dmg, it does 500 dmg, which means 1 casting pretty much rapes anything (5000 dmg wtf ftw?)


Ok the map is tons of fun, BUT, the grammar is absolutely terrible. It detracts from the story and gameplay alot, in that you spend quite a bit of time trying to translate what is being said into actual English. If you send me the chat text, I'd be glad to correct it all for you, it would take some time, but I should be able to have it all corrected within a week or so if you want. I've just found that the poor grammar makes it VERY awkward. Send me a PM if you would like me to do it.

Fixed already. I'm sorry about this. It has been buggy from the beginning but finally it's fixed.

The orb has 50 attack damage, yes. So is it too imba? Should I make the damage lower?

Okay, as you have seen I have strange style to write those dialogs. I use "..." when I continue text etc. But it seems like it's bad style. Fine. I agree, from this on, I start to write correct. Do you have MSN or something? It would go a lot faster.

Bugging day another

I may have found a bug: I'm still in chapter 7 :)grin:), and there is near the line a commander, that has exclamition mark above it. Behind it is giant golem statue. Usually when exclamition mark is above a unit, it has quest or cinematic when you come close enouhg, but this one had exclamition mark above it (commander) but when I went close him, he doesn't did anything, if it has nothing to say, will be good to remove it, but if it has, bugged! :con:

Oh, I may have found bug (again :p), I'm still in chapter 7 (omg, how long I will be there?) I was making magic potion quest, when I got the flowers, and went back to the quest giver (forgot his name) nothing happened. I'm 99% sure I had right flowers, but still NOTHING happened, still only 99% sure, but I think it is.

Oh no :( now this is even worse! (Why everything bad happens only to me?? :p) I'm (again, again, and again) in chapter 7, I went to strange building, it was called gladiator arena. I wanted information about it, and everything was fine until... Until when the information ended, game freezed! I couldn't make game menu open, talk, move cam, choose hero and etc. I REALLY think this is bug...

If you mean the Alchemist, yes, i have to agree. He only opens that dialog 1 time and never again >.< also it is stupid that you have to pay gold at him if you want to cross the magic garden which already activates a timer and to pay for the guardians who stand before the garden.

Also i found another thing...it isn't a bug but it's annoying ^^ If you start the healing potion quest a timer will be activated and if you are in a cinematic the timer's still is active. Maybe you should deactivate the timer in a cinematic.

You suppose to give all three items to a alchemist who's going to make a potion for you. Then you must bring this potion to quest giver.

I will check those outs later. Hopefully my friend finished today a new spell for Fradz. If he can create it, tomorrow will be next version. Next version will include:
  • Chapter 9 boss is fixed.
  • Three new items sets: Anthoniou's Set, Rikhano's Set and Tharo's Set.
  • Fixed lot of minor bugs you guys mentioned.
  • Synthesis Shop. In Synthesis Shop you can combine items together. You need specific items + recipe + you have to be near of Synthesis shop to create a new powerul item.Here is three examples:
    => Mana Gem + Great Mana Gem => Mega Mana Gem - Gives a 10% chance to restore 100% of your mana after casting.
    => Agility Charm + Intelligence Charm + Strengh Charm => Stats Charm - Gives you two extra Agility, Intelligence, Strengh attribute when leveling up.
    => Excalibur + Doom Sword + |c00FFFC01Great Mystic Book|r => Dragon Buster - Increases the attack damage of the Hero by 300, and the Strength of the Hero by 50. Also, this sword is very powerful and deadly which gives the carrier to attack with such force that 100% of it's attacks strikes through to enemies near the primary attacked unit.

Heh, Aero, you weren't listening..... Fradz spell is SUPPOSED to do 50 dmg a shot. IT ACTUALLY does 500 damage a shot, which is fking godly. Don't get me wrong, post lvl 4-5 it can't 1 shot bosses any more, but it still does ridiculous dmg.

BTW, I was kind of disappointed, I went through all the effort of killing all the executioners on the Kar'Gaz level, and all the cheap bastards had was 45 gold!?!? I spent 200-300+ gold each on them damnit! lol. It would be kind of cool if they gave SOMETHING.

Sorry to double post:
When I posted my last buglist i forgot to include my old 1, This is from 1.5 so tell me if the issue has already been cleared up.
I've noticed that the past 3 levels (4,5, and 6) The riddle questions havn't given me any questions to work with, now given, most of them are pretty simple, as you just have to recognize which 1 actually works, but the ones with just numbers are pretty damn difficult, rectify this please.
On The Kar'gaz level, when you kill the "fire" "Lighting" "heal" "whateverthisguywascalled" and then destroy the obelisk, a 2nd dark stone drops, bug? wtf? gah!?


Just a personal suggestion of something I would like to see implemented. Could you possibly include 1 packhorse for each char that transfers along with them from level to level? It's very annoying to have to leave things like spells behind simply because you don't have the inventory to waste on 2-3 useless spells (Thereby denying you the BOOK!!!!)


PS: As of 1.8, Magic stone combining STILL doesn't work :(. On level 7, it randomly accuses you of cheating while your digging =/ I got accused 3 times, and it fucked up, I started saving after every dig lol. Also can you make it so you don't just repeatedly dig in the EXACT same spot til the timer runs out? It would be more fun if you could move between digs. Also, very important about the digging.... you NEVER EVER get ANYTHING, I spent 1500 gold (4 games in a row of loading when i hit 0 gold....... ) And I failed to get a single item, no idea wtf the problem is, but It's fking irritating. I have noticed that it periodically says that "You are unable to pick up this item" or whatever, could that be the problem? I've attempted digging with both full and empty inventories.

I'll get back to you tomorrow with more bug/fixes/ect, I'm burned out for the moment lol. That damn digging bug annoys me ><

Really...? I gotta check it out. OOH YEA!!! NOW I FOUND THE BUG!!!! Level 1 spell was lvl 5 spell. :D Well I know changed it. Now lvl 1 is lvl 1. Thanks for telling me!

There's item boxes but to have them you must start from level 1 so they are saved like heroes. I will do later somekind of better system so this is temporarily.

in Kar'gath, the iron door does not open, even if you trigger the lever; vampire lord has divine armor, it seems to me like he's impossible to beat; if you press escape during the cinematic for the secondary quest with the skeleton, your heroes will remain outside; they will not be in the room with the monsters; there are a lot of black keys, but you only need one, because they don't use up, like the red, white, blue and yellow keys do;

in Terdoom castle: digging does not seem to work: i press on the shovel once, then after the short blackout, it is pressed again automatically, i can't do anything else until the digging time is over; when you finish the portal quest (at the graveyard) it is you have received the second and third part of holdro, which you actually don't get; when i go to the arena and after i ask for information, the game gets stuck; there's a soldier with an exclamation mark near the big statue where i should probably receive a quest, but nothing happens when i go near him; after a finish the puzzle with the circles and i receice my reward, kitabatake still says stuff like "is this too hard for you?", even if he's not there anymore; the timer for the medicine quest should stop during cinematics;

Also, Fradz has too many skills: there are 6 places for skills, and Frandz has 5 skills that you can choose, one that you receive from the beginning (i think it was called sword dance, the one with +100% attack speed and +33% more damage) and he also has hide, so that equals 7 skills; the magic orbs will not combine more than magic orb lvl2; at the end of a level, at the riddle questions, i can't see any questions, only the answers.

Suggestions:
Make the cutscenes skippable: if you want to replay a level or you die after a cinematic and forgot to save, you have to watch again;
Add a command to the boxes so that they can be summoned at the hero's position; if you fill up your inventory at some point of a game, you have to go back all the way to the beginning of the scenario to put items in the boxes. or you could change the location of the boxes after an important ciematic, somewhere closer to the heroes.
The quest with closing the portal that you receive from the archbishop in terdoom castle, you could highlight the areas that you discover you can walk on without getting teleported back.

Up until now, it's a great campaign, i really love it. Lots of effort was put into it. Hope I've helped you to improve it. Sorry if someone has already reported these bugs and I'm just repeating, i haven't had the time to read all the posts

Are you kidding!?!? It took me 2-4 health tubes 2-4 mana tubes and 6 rejuv potions PER executioner!!!

On level 7, at the spell merchant, the level 4 and 5 heal spells are mixed up, you click regrowth and you get group heal, click group heal you get regrowth.
The Quest to deliver the letter to the guys friends doesn't appear to work.

All fixed and it took 2 hour to finish. Now there is also new key/gate system which is alot better than the old one.

I'm so sorry that the new version is late. I can't do anything about it, because my friend is still making the spell. However, I promise to you guys that next version will be awesome, even if there is no chapter. Once again, I will tell you what it have:

  • Synthesis Shop which includes 25 new special items.
  • Fixed minor bugs you guys mentioned.
  • Give Up - You can carry over your gold and honor points and restart a game from the beginning. Everything else will be removed and only chapter 1 is avaible next to play. However, this helps you greatly and with the saved resources you can spend to get more powerful items at the beginning already.
  • And much more new items. Here is an example of excellent new item: Resurrection Phial - Death need not be the end. Resurrection is possible with this. Restores 100% of the dying unit's health and mana after resurrection.
  • Removed Phodom's previous unit spell to new: An aura that gives Phodom a magical flame shield, which deals damage(Strenght x ability level) to enemy unit that are attacking you. Has 10 second cooldown. Also gives a 10% chance that an attack will deal X damage to nearby units.
  • New spell with Fradz also(don't have description yet).

Next version will be soon as the guy have finished Fradz's new spell.

Well, I am currently at chapter 7 and I tried to load that one. However the saved game will only be loaded with the map you saved it on, so that is version 1.6, I can't load the map with version 1.8, also I tried to change the loading path of the saved game but it didn't work. :/

About the portal quest: When you finish it, you get a message. It says something like this: "You have completed the Mystic portal quest. Your reward is:
-500 gold
-Second part of Holgro
-Third part of Holgro"
Actually, you only get the gold. It's no big deal.
Also, the way to the portal is too tight. You always get stuck because of the other guys that are walking around (bishops and villagers).

The statue (that you get from combining the three parts) has the taunt spell, but no mana.

Rot'Afor: I think too many Otzis appear while you are fighting the King Otzi. I suggest that the King should have a spell to summon a numer of temporary Otzis.

Icy Mountains: Not enough food. Possibly add an ice troll shop or something like that. The ice golem (that looks like Galeoth's baby/killing machine) doesn't work too well so far. My battle with it went this way: I reduced it's HP to about half, it dissapeared and the smaller golems appeared. After i killed them, the big one reappeared with about 75% of it's HP. Again reduced it's health to half, the small golems appeared, I destroyed them and then nothing. There was nothing left, except a slowing aura and some mana burn bolts that apparently come from nowhere. If I guess correctly, the golem is still there, but invisible and untargetable. If that's the case, then take away his abilities and regeneration.
I know that this map is not complete, but i wanted to make sure that you know about these bugs.

In the first map, you have an honor shop that sells items which cost more that 1 honor point. You should remove those items from the shop because you can't possibly afford them at that level. And there should be an honor shop in terdoom castle. By that time you have enough honor points to buy something useful.

Food: Hero drink gives +10 vitality. But you can't wait until you have 0 vitality to drink it because you would die until then. I usually use these potions when I have 3 vitality, only receiving 7 vit and wasting 3. I suggest that instead of a one-time use of +10 vit, the Hero drink should have 2 charges of +5 vit each (or 2 charges of +6 or +7, for it to be better than the full meat).

About my rating: it's also "not finished yet" :p. It will improve along with the campaign. And thanks for the +rep.

Actually you can have three honor point + 1(riddle question) currently. However, I have reduced those honor point amounts. I try to put 60-100 honor point to whole campaign and the best items costs 20 honor point.

Just putting basic triggers to all maps and then next version! However, my friend didn't finished new spell for Fradz. What a shame! I was waiting for it whole week!

EDIT: Campaign is updated to 1.9. Tomorrow I go to countryside which means I can work with the campaign a lot less time(there's laptop and I can still work little!). I will be there about 1-2 week then I'm free again! I think this is also a good change to take a little break and think something more for this campaign. Just like I was in Vietnam at Christmas.

Soooo... I think next version which includes chapter 10 will be in 2-3 weeks(unless you guys find a dramatic bug).

Good luck everyone who's going to play the campaign and gimme some comments! Let's make this campaign better!
