    nvm i found the explanation...

    "It does what it says: increases your chance to hit. So basicly it counters 10 evasion of an enemy.

    If an enemy has no evasion, it does nothing. Default evasion for almost all creeps in the game is 5%. But certain creeps and bosses have more."

    Note that evasion score will receive a level modifier in the next update: for each level difference to the target, evasion will be buffed by 2%.

    Actually, I checked again what I put into and it's 1%, not 2% per level.
    But yes, this applies for both heroes and enemies.

    Also, you receive 1% extra crit chance and 2% crit damage with every level delta aswell.

    This is basicly to combat the "congratz, you leveled up! Now you are weaker than before" progression of base-attribute dependent stats.

    It's more like the level 50 hero is pretty much immune to level 1 wolf attacks, but insta-gibs the wolf.


    Mathematically, it works like this:

    evasion bonus for defender = defender level - attacker level
    crit bonus for attacker = attacker level - defender level
    crit damage bonus for attacker = (attacker level - defender level) x 2

    ... all these values can also go into negatives aswell (with a total stat minimum of 0, obviously).
    So a level 30 attacking a level 40 will result in the following:
    - The defender will have +10% evasion
    - The attacker will have a -10% crit malus
    - The attacker will have a -20% crit damage malus

    A level 40 attacking a level 30 will result in the following:
    - The defender will have -10% evasion malus
    - The attacker will have a +10% crit bonus
    - The attacker will have a +20% crit damage bonus

    What do you think about spells and debuffs? Will they be some kind of "silver bullet"?
    I mean critical chance and critical damage will be reduced, but they still will hit with 100% chance (and ignore max range for targeting spells). So Sanev, Gaelas, Firelord will be hard for both same level and higher, and only bigger HP pool will help to survive spell damage.

    Yes, spells were always unique in that regard. However, this is not really a problem, as the crit bonus applies to spells and attacks equally; the bonuses were never meant to make the hero OP against lower level units. They were only meant to offset the malicious impact of leveling from attribute-related secondary stats. Hence why the bonuses are relatively small (even on a whopping 20 level difference, that is only 20% evasion and crit).

    I'm sorry. I know this has been answered before, but I've checked some topics on the forum and I can't find it.

    Anyway, what does "Hateful Strike now also interrupts the target" actually mean? Better yet, how does it work?

    Uhh to put it simply there are two types of stuns, actual Stuns, that affect things that can be stunned and will prevent spellcasting.

    While things that cannot be stunned, like Andrazzar, your then able to interrupt his shadowbolt with interrupts

    I thought so. But then there are certain skills that cannot be interrupted at all right? Like Flamethrower from Gazrow. I supposed it would be too op just to be able to interrupt any core skill from bosses. While it seems fair, it's actually not that useful. Thanks a lot for the response!

    It's like this:
    An enemy can be susceptible OR immune to stun.
    A spell can be susceptible OR immune to stun and interrupts.

    So there are multiple checks when trying to stop a spell.
    If a spell is uninterruptible, NEITHER stun nor interrupt will work.
    If a spell is interruptible AND the enemy is stun-susceptible, stun AND interrupt effects will work.
    If a spell is interruptible BUT the enemy is stun-immune, ONLY interrupt effects will work.

    Currently, dazing trap works on anything, but that is a bug.
