Got rather bored, so started sculpting my gorilla for the competition just for the heck of it

GorillaWIP1.jpg

If I really felt like it I could probably make a light map from this to use as the actual texture XD, but I won't
Hell, I might just even make a normal mapped model for the gorilla, and start over with a new idea for the modeling competition, as I don't really like this one.

Any suggestions for ideas (serious ones) would be appreciated!

ZOMG normal map test
The reason the normal-map'd one's forarme region is retarded is because I didn't bother setting up a proper cage :P
High res mesh is on the left, low is on the right

you made the vein in the wrong place.. if you look at your veines.. they go to the top of your finger.. to your hearth.. just a simple tip ^^ also your tumb need 1 more articulation :P

but anyway its still AWSOME as usual

i don't know what to say.. it looks awsome .. but at some place.. it looks deformed and unrealistic... meeh .. really i'm confused...

i think the main problem is the lower arms muscle.. like there's to much muscles than it supposed to be... and the mounth that looks like a ventriloquist pupet... so like i said..

Looks awsome... but looks diformed too :X (sorry if i'm confusing you)

Started doing an Art Test for Bizzare Creations for practice (and I'll probably email them to see if I can leach out some feed back)

It actually came with a pre-sculpted face and a rough start on the body, but I trashed that and started from scratch (though I made the face pretty similar)

Unfortunately, I can't get the normal map to bake right... it always come up with seams (in 3ds Max) D: And when I try the same thing on another model it works fine -_-'

Base mesh I started from
