  • 1) the script should be placed within the Scene from Start up >>> meaning in the first scene, or where the users will type in their names?
    2) to send the data to the db, it should be something like if (GUI.Button(new Rect(50,50,50,50)"ENTER"){ SaveScores();}???
    3) If I keep a "local db", with xampp; will it work the same way, but the data will be stored in my computer?

    Why is it when i make the projectile art of a unit lightinig attack(the projectile missile of thunder lizard if im not mistaken), so i can make it attack with a chain lightning effect(like razor of dota), no lightning appears???
    Is there something that i have to do with that unit's property???

    another i tried to make ursa warrior's fury swipes skill, i used the skill of firelord, the incinerate if im not mistaken.. but it seems not to work because i put 100damage for every attack but it doesnt add up to the next damage... am i missing something???

    is there an event llike "when a unit auto-casts..."for skills like searing arrows, frost arrows...
    so the trigger will always do the actions as long as the skill is in auto-cast mode..
    another, is there a way that i can manipulate the damages of those skills, im planning to do skills like that of obsidian destroyer in dota, his first skill if im not mistaken..

    but i cant make it walkable again..
    whenever i open a map with village rock tile, it immediately deletes all units standing in a cell with village rock!! pls i need help...

    used JNGP in this.
    If I can do it by regions, how about doing it by checking the terrain? Is it
    possible? How can I check if the unit is standing in a particular terrain?
    may i ask something??
    there are maps that is really large in size but when i play, the camera seems to stay in a small portion of the map, i cant see the other part of the map.. i can only see other parts of the map by making a particular unit to go to a portal or waypoint that will lead it to some part of the whole map, and there again the camera can only navigate to a limited portion of the map..
    i hope you get it..may you pls tell how to do that?
    i dont know how to search it in the net, i dont know what does it called..

    and also, those maps that when your hero touches certain terrain, it will die..i dont know if it is triggered by regions or by checking if the hero touches a certain type of terrain...

    nah the model is finished and all it needs is to just put some bones for animating.... it's ok since you're busy I'll look for help somewhere xD>.. Thanks for your reply :)
    ..umm dude.. can you help with a model that i just converted??.. the torso textures are fine but the other textures are mixed up.... do i have to put the testures in each material? or just only one material with all the textures?? i used the war3modeleditor to add textures

    I was reading through the contest thread the other day, and I was wondering why you never uploaded your work to the resource section aswell?
    Without knowing the exact link to the Contest Thread, people will hardly find the resources you provided.

    (Post) Interesting. I think those glow effects could be not used. Shading need improovement. Still, it looks nice and kinda interesting :)

    Staffs: some plain, some with a simple orb on top.
    Helms: Some basic caps, half helms, full helms
    Wands: Some plain, some with simple orb on top

    These are some of the first few. I could use 3-5 of each of those.

    I would rather have them just for the map, if that is okay?
