Hey, if you want to experiment with the fact that it's behind, try going into the MDL's particle emitter and looking for a field that says "PriorityPlane -1" and delete it, or try replacing it with "SortPrimsFarZ". I'm operating on memory, and might be wrong about those two, but it's something you could try.
I may be working more on stuff later this evening.

To that, I might clarify: leave the weapon on the normal Batrider as it is, since I cannot yet decide. However, him &/or the bat in such a way as to differentiate them from the "normal" (in-game) Troll Batrider.Basically just like it says, need to throw some armor/adornments & such on him, to help give him some 'weight' & a bit of a sense of 'might' as compared to the flighty (Orcish Horde-aligned) Troll Batrider. 3) Off the top of your head, if I were going to implement a sort of "Swooping Dive"* animation for a spell or attack, is there anything in-game that that can be ripped from? Similar question for a "Bat-Bite" and a "Rider Sword-Slash" animation (don't necessarily throw them on there, more asking if you as a modeller know of existing animations you can grab those from)

*Perhaps stealing the Naga "Submerge" for a "swooping dive"... (then again, dealing with all those snake-like lower-body bones might be problematic...)

@Zyne it doesn't need to be an exact replica, imagine Phoenix model but more dragon-like, and with way more fire.

You just need to replace the dissipation with the decay only.
