Sounds a lot easier, so I'l see what I can do. :) And could you please tell me where you got that model, or attach a version with the hero glow? I know how to add it, but I want to see some properties of the original model.
I need an buff model to display overhead for an strong poison - venom type ability. Could look like an green version of banshee's curse.
Here is a green Curse effect. If you want, I could try to add some green bubbles to it.

Sure.

I don't know where else it can be found (maybe even here), but / got mine by extracting it from the illustrious "Tales of Ravignion" total conversion; somehow such an excellent Wc3 model made it into what is generally understood to be a 'breadtangle of pizza's' worth of poor Warhammer-inspired models.

Anyway, I've attached it to this post (though, like I said, it's identical to what I provided earlier, just without some of the glows & a renamed anim...). The earlier-attached Readme has all the pertinent stuff. Let me know!

Well, the glows weren't completely removed. The mesh of the glows was removed, but the bones they were attached to and global animation frames of those bones were not. The model also had some unused textures and materials, that were still left from those glows.
The earlier-attached Readme has all the pertinent stuff.
I read there that you could use some duplicated and renamed animations with added particles. So what kind of particles do you have in mind?

Ah, that's my bad. I'm still learning a thing or two when it comes to MDL-editing, so I probably left all that stuff in there. :<

Eesh... This is what I was worried about. Not quite sure. Most of it is in the Readme, quoted here:

Also, none of them have SFX (maybe I'm wrong & most Wc3 units don't, but it seems like they should)

Personally, if it were possible to Insert some animations from other units, that'd be ideal. Furion's great "two-arms-hefting-staff" would be great for Channel... But it not, that "stabbing" animation, set to Looping, would make sense too.

- I guess, considering he's supposed to shoot ranged lazer-lightning bolts of crackling Tiki energy, his Attack should be something fitting; moreover, having at least 2 Attack anims will help give him some variety, make his attacking less monotonous.
- His Spell Channel should look good for him doing the "Tesla Power-up" (that's what "Empower" means, see below) on the "Tiki Tower".
- And his Spell should... Well, be a Spell. I dunno, maybe 'broadsiding' isn't that bad, but it just looks weird to me.

In terms of mesh, the jury's still out as to what to do with his Backpack full of Potions (potions??...), his Hair (so... many... mohawks...), and his Mask (love it, but have to make sure not too many Trolls have them).

Sure.

Basically, I was attempting to recreate the behavior featured in Red Alert 2; when you get Tesla Troopers and Tesla Coils together, the Troopers will automatically "channel" on the Coil, charging it up with energy & thus enhancing it's attack damage & range (3 Troopers on 1 Coil could even fully power it, if the Base itself ran out of power).

My Wc3-version of that was a Channeling spell where "Tiki Warriors" could target "Tiki Towers" (names are changing), increasing it's stats and/or giving it Spell Immunity.

So, I'll add some lightning on top of his staff. Is it okay if I make something like that effect that appears in Chimera's mouth when it attacks?

Maybe really really small. The whole "electricity" thing is meant to be a only "similar to" lightning, not quite lightning; i'ts a lot more subtle.

Think like a tiny, understated version of Purge's 'after-shock' effect. Crackling little bolts of lightning (with more 'blue-energy-stuff' rather than 'raw-lightning-stuff').

Oh believe me, so am I. :p If you think of something cool, do so (skulls seem cool, but then again EVERYTROLL has skulls). Perhaps the entire backpack can be replaced to something more fitting a ritualistic 'tribal templar'-type dude... Keep your mind open.

One of the "antennae" is basically already done; the Mask! Just move it back a bit and have it sticking out of the backpack. Then maybe a second with a glowing-magic-rats-skull or voodoo-orb-transponder (lol, Star Troll Trek). Maybe. Think about it!

And whaaaat?? How could you not have played the bountiful, magnificent, amazing and world-changing Starcraft?

Heck, $20 will get you the Battlechest nowadays, it's super-cheap, and one of the greatest RTS games of all time.

But yeah. I have cycled a lot of Roles (gameplay-usage-type stuff) on this one guy for a while now, but finally hammering out the kinks & deciding on patterning him after the Terran Ghost was a good move, methinks.

Notice that I'm not trying to *copy* the Terran Ghost (i.e. don't change his staff into a gun, or give him 3 lazer-scope eyes, or big boots, lol); simply 'patterning' him (i.e. the gameplay/role, "high-tier pseudo-caster/light ranged support"). Thus the 'patterning' of Thematic (aesthetics, or how he looks) elements as well was merely a byproduct.

yes sir I want all the animations to be still there except the Death anim..maybe just use a not demonic death anim and special effects when his spell anims are played.. that would probably be it ..thanks

I know that it isn't expensive, but here where I live, dollars are not used as currency. ;P

Yes, I understand that supporting, caster units shouldn't look so muscular or heroic.

Alright, here it is. However, since it wasn't possible to transfer some animations of the Eredar, I had to manually fix them and recreate some parts by looking at the Eredar's animations. I hope you'll find them useful...
Important: When you import this model, set the path to this: Units\Creeps\Medivh\Medivh.mdx ,so it'll use the default Medivh's portrait.

I need the default human guardtower edited twice.

Version A will be used for dwarves, has cannons sticking out instead giant arrows on upgrade 1(like ujimasa's northrend guardtower), upgrade 3 completely replaced with a new variant. New upgrade has a medieval multi-barreled Flak-cannon operated by a gnome or dwarf(will use gyrocopter's AA weapon's attack and sound, hence i want multi-barreled to keep up with that high fire rate)

Version B is easier, will use an catapult tower instead cannontower on upgrade 2.

Made this model in 2 minutes. MatrixEater'd!

Let me know if it works, I didn't test it, but I figured I had two minutes I could chip in.

Edit: I remember 9 minutes ago when I looked at the clock and decided I'd make that model for it. It was great!

Necromancy?

Ok i need a fix in the warlord horse, the red clothes in the front and left front leg have big tears in the mesh, in several animations is very visible from the game camera. A minor fix is the head of the rider in the stand 2 animation, if is possible make a more "natural" rotation.

I Added two little shields on the legs sides, and with a little more time i want to add some armor in the neck of the horse.

I don't know if is posible but i want two attack animations extra made for a spear.

Attack 3 - A simple stab animation based on Attack-1
Attack Slam - A Throwing spear animation.

About the looks in the unit, something else to make it more original?

I think it'd be really cool if someone made a jumping wolf model -- just the Feral Spirit wolf with a "birth", "stand" and "death" animations:
"birth": lunges into a jumping motion
"stand": wolf floats in a continuing jump stances, like a "missile" for a jump ability
"death": wolf lands on its paws back to its natural standing position

If you make that and allow me to use your animation work on another wolf model that I already have (via Matrix Eater animation import), I'll probably use it in HF v2 and credit you! :)

That being said, a generic set of "jumping" animations that could be ported to different units (i.e. "flying in the air, continuous jump stance") would be incredibly useful for me as well...

Hello, I'd like to request a Tauren Sunwalker, which is simply a Tauren Paladin. I want it to be a hero model, and I have no problem with however you design it as long as it is working.
I'd say possibly modify the Tauren Chieftan with more Paladin-ish armor and add a hammer, and maybe slightly reskin him.

heh, I also tried that before, it was very messy, and objects goes everywhere, didn't waste time deleting it.
