If you need someone with a deep voice thats monotone, I'm your guy hahah! =D

The new cut scene looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, yet some ability casting looks weird with Seth, but it's hard to make it better. Keep up the good work :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Yes, model seem to be lacking in animations, but I find it acceptable. I suppose PROXY's model might have way more creative animations as it is based on worgen ones.
I have to admit, that was one of the best fight scenes ive seen for WarCraft 3.
Thank for that, yet I think it was too simple to earn that title, and too short, hehe.

No, it is not opening cinematic, it takes place after when 5/6 map space is surfed. So basically 1/6 of map is left to be filled and 5/6 of map is completely finished.

Haha, well, it may sound like that due to voice change, I made it slightly deeper with the sound editor that Tickles suggested.

When Horus falls to the ground his wing type things should stop flapping and Seths mouth always being open looks weird :p but it's still amazing. The music/background sound is immersing, love it :)

but I believe the voice acting for Horus could use some work. Right now it sounded like a regular guy with an echo added to it for effect.
Hehe, yeah, I just made it deeper and added echo, my throat lack of verious voices, I would not know what would fit Horus in this case anyway, I could not make it creaky like Seth's too.

Well, Horus is alive, just bashed hardly, I could not make it stop flapping because it is an attachment, unless I would remove it. Seth's current model is made like that, I cannot shut his mouth as I am not a modeler and I do not have a permission to edit.

Woah, you keep surprising me. I appreciate it, it means much to me. I wouldn't say I work really hard, I just do what enjoys me, sometimes my mind is occupied by thoughts of how / what to do / continue, I believe every maker, who is dedicated for it, knows the feeling.

I already feel slightly confused due to this abundance of positive replies. :ogre_hurrhurr:

It shouldn't be too confusing; it's because your project looks awesome! The cinematic is pretty darn good as far as warcraft III goes, as I am always happy to see voice-overs instead of just plain text :)

Well done, this is amazing! :thumbs_up:

A few notes though:
- Horus' falcon-head helm looks a bit out of place... it looks to be placed a tad higher than it should be.
- As mentioned previously, it would be better if the wings stopped flapping when Horus fell. I imagine this could be done by creating a copy of the wings model, delete all animations from the copy, and then adding it as a second version of the model to the map. Then, using a trigger to switch between the flapping and non-flapping versions of the model should do it.

I agree, I was hoping the model will cover entire face, yet it did not. :(
About the wings, I think it is ok for it to flap as it is a sign that Horus still lives.

Some terrain updates of the very start of the last tomb called Shrine Ombos. The shrine may not be fully filled with hostiles, as instead it will be full of various traps that will make sure your HP points are out soon, performance restricting curses that last forever as well, it may be removed only with certain methods.

Another thing of note, AL0NE is making a custom UI for the map, it is really awesome, it is nearly completion. I / he may put an image of it here once it is done, who knows, perhaps it will be uploaded up there in the skin section.

Seeing your first post and I must say this is the greatest map I have ever seen! Cool terrain looks realistic, models fits on the game environment and it really catches attention.

BTW, I like your other map too, the ROtG (Rise of the Gigantes). Keep on making this map! You have my support.:thumbs_up:

Thanks. I have the same feeling when I visit Terraining section, many people make astonishing terrains there and I feel so little. My terrains are very basic, I'm glad people find it good though. :)
One day you will have the privilege to call yourself equally good at terraining as APproject.
I'm not that good, I am rarely satisfied with my work as it do not make me *wow* most of the time. :/

I like the usage of judash's "nude shield" as decoration on the 1st pic, it's really bend well with you put pharaoh hat on it. keep up the good work and +rep.
I appreciate it, thanks. Currently I feel addicted to use attachments for terrain decorations, I find it creative way to use anything towards the good of terrain. Soon I shall make terrain with unit models used for it, it going to look great for statues especially when the unit is egypt-like.

Sounds like a good idea. If you uploaded it in the skin section making it even more egyptish, I may surely use these buildings for terraining.

Those are cool egyptian building even though its just a recolored version. Maybe that will fit on the game if APproject will create some civilizations or town in the game!:grin:

I would love to modify the skins more, but unfortunately, I'm not that skilled with graphics, so at least for now all I can do is recolor them. In case you want the recolored skins though, tell me and I'll send them to you.

Just a quick question - how did you lower the Necropolis? I've tried tweaking stuff life fly height n shit but I cant make it work.

I didn't, actually - it was Anvil who kindly did it for me; he posted the grounded model in this thread:

Well, not exactly helping cool project. I'll help any project that I think have potential and have frequent updates. Of course I'll help out on your project, but I need to make sure you've progress much on the map and it will be released. I've meet some that requested sigs, and yet they abandoned the project even before it get to alpha. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being stingy or something like that. I just don't want to spend some of my time to make something that the person doesn't appreciates it. Good luck on your project! =)
Epic UI, very creative edit of the human one :D
I was actually wanna use the UI as a template to make the UI. Then after observing for a while, I find out that the Human UI actually quite fits! :D It does turned out better than I expected. Thanks for the compliment. But your model is what makes this project going. ;)

I was planning to go on vacation with my girlfriend to Egypt next week, yet I denied it due to my studies. It was a great loss of perfect opportunity to visit Egypt for the first time and to gain an inspiration for this project, hehe. Of course time spent with her would make experience even richer.

Another screenie of one of puzzles met at the last phase of game. Some hostiles are visible as well.

Yes he should, it looks great indeed, but firstly he have to make time indicator, because I requested the UI without it.

Finally completed the inventory Cover. :D it took me quite a few times of different designs to find a fitting one. Apparently this one looks pretty matching with the rest of the UI. I've also edited the Egyptian letters and symbols on the UI. What do you think? is it better, or the previous one is better? =)

@ Drunken_Jackal, Of course I'll upload it. but the problem is I'm not sure whether it's allowed since there's quite a lot of CnP involved. PM'ed Pharaoh_ but he seems to be away for the moment. After I've finished making them in to UI files, I'll ask another resource/skin moderator if Pharaoh_ haven't reply. =)
